Bloody hell! Looked for ages. Coords had me about 10m away so kept there for a bit. Noticed something else and a log from 2012 but didnt see it. Back to the first spot then back to the other spot. Finally really dug around and there it was. Coords about 10m out for me today but all good in the end. SL at 15:30pm. TFTC. Thats enough for today!
Out visiting family from the UK and doing some caching with big brother Pprime. Today was our Nail Can Hill day. We had done some puzzle solving so had a few to collect although sadly a couple we could not crack. We had convinced the geomum to get up before the birds and drop us the other side of the hill with the plan being to come down Range Rd when we were done which leads us right to home. I am not a fan of up and very slow so we set off on the hike while still dark to get to the top then walked north to the Isoltaion cache where we started the hunt with the early morning light.
This was the second cache of the day and the light was better now. We did have a bit of a hunt about about but finally found it's sneaky spot.
All in good order, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for placing this cache for me to find!!

Great hike in the sunshine with the girls and pups. Thanks to an earlier hint we had this quickly in hand. No bikes but plenty of walkers exercising during lockdown. Thanks for the adventure!

A 2 day trip with ZQX to Albury and Wagga Wagga, focusing on some higher D/T caches. While on an approx 10km wander up, over and around NailCan Hill, I stopped by this cache. The GPS was bouncing around so it took a few minutes to zero in on it. TFTC.

Car in getting a service so what better way to spend the time than a bush walk and a few caches. TFTC hamfamity
Found this on Wednesday when out for a ride with D. Introduced her to the amazing world of geocaching.
I was with the owner when she placed this many years ago and taken me years to finally come back and find it. Thanks T!

An abbreviated holiday in Albury comes to end later today. But with all other plans canceled I was left with a morning to myself. Social Isolation in action .... I went for a little walk. Dropped off on Centaur Rd and hiked back along the Ridge, via the 'Falls' to Logan Rd. 10km, 3 hours, ten smilies. Bliss.
My final find before heading 'home'. A great morning out. Perfect conclusion.
Thanks hamfamity for entertaining me at this location.

After finding the Butterflies on Nail Can cache thought I may as walk an extra 1km to my next unfound cache on the hill. A great sunny winters day to be out with a few walking dogs and others out on their bikes.
I took the Corby trail and cut across to the cache location.. so many places a cache could be, thankfully I found it in the first place I looked. Claimed just under a year of unlove could be a little more with the last finders signature not in the log book..

Hiked to this spot from the cemetery.
After a quick search I soon found its hiding spot

Was getting tired by now and was running out of water so wasnt going to grab this one but pushed myself to get over 10 for the day. Got to gz and went geez hope I dont need to go down there. I then spotted the cache TFTC
4th on a circuit walk from the motel. Nice quiet spot. Managed to search everywhere bit the right spot for an unreasonable amount of time before turning it up. Thanks.
Bug spray. Sunscreen. Hat. Battery bank. camera. Pencil. check check check check check check. TAKE WATER WITH YOU
Out caching with TobyKim. Parked at the memorial gardens below and walked straight up the hill. It was a slow and strenuous climb, but we eventually got there. A quick find on the three in this little triangle. TFTC.
That took a lot longer than it should have! We weren't giving up thou & were finally rewarded with the cache after we thought about where we'd found ur caches earlier along the track! SL & returned the cache to it's sneaky hide. This was the furthest point for our morning hike around nail can from centaur rd. 3.19kms (2.5hrs return) with 2 kids on mountain bikes + 2 dogs. From here we ventured cross country to 'get over it'. Tough going with the bikes & many spiders + webs! Soo worth it thou when we got to the rocky outcrop!
A great excuse to stop after the uphill mountain bike climb with schmubra. So peaceful and great place to stop. Tftc.
[:(!] Went for a caching walk for several hours and this was one of them.

We came up from Gap road and walked the ridge track to pick up this cache.
It took us four and a half hours in total to pick up 8 finds for the day and Ripper the Chocolate Lab loved every step.
Our last find of the day as we make our way back to the car and the legs are starting to feel it. Loved our day in this area exploring creeks and tracks that we had not seen before.
A quick find here in an interesting place. TFTC

third find of the day, geodog had a good drink here. Interesting spot. Thanks for the hunt.
# 5869 Found while in town for a weekend of events and get-togethers.
After the cleanup it was time to venture up high to find a few that I hadn't been able to get to yet.
The MTB had a good run at these few although the uphill climb was slow going.
Another quick stop again here before heading to the next one.
Thanks for the cache hamfamity,
Roostaman.

Reperio at 1850.
After making the dash up to 'Isolation', I headed back down and around the various trails to this one, and I was thankful for the instructions on which trails to take so there was no bush bashing required. It was nice to have the area to myself so I could enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the bush, and once at GZ, the cache was quickly located...and then it was on to the next cache.
Gratias hamfamity.

#2972 An afternoon of hiking with some glorious spring weather (why did we have thermals on again [?]) - what a wonderful day! This was our second last cache for the day - a huge 7 in total - not a numbers day by any stretch of the imagination but these are the days we enjoy the most. A pretty amazing place that we would not have come but for caching - unfortunately the mozzies (The GeoPrincess's mortal enemy!!) were out and about enjoying GZ, and us, too. We didn't pack the Bushmans so we had to do a quick sign and replace of the cache before hightailing it out of there before The GeoPrincess freaked out completely. Our thanks to the hamfamity for bringing us to another spot in this interesting area. Cheers
Was good to knock another of the Nail can caches of the list. We approached this one from Davies Road and endured the climb to the top before taking a nice easy stroll to towards GZ. A little bit of back tracking was involved which would have been avoided had i read the cache notes properly before heading off.

Hole in base of tree, small sistemaNot a day of huge numbers today, but a very nice 9 caches found in the Nail Can Ranges with fellow cacher Mr.David.... We started at the northern end where we left the car and made our way to the Range Road end, where when finished we had a lift arranged to return us to the car. I also had three of my kiddies with me, Jasmine, James and Jemma. We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the bush to make the day that much more enjoyable. In all we walked about 9 kms in around 4 hours picking up 2 mystery caches and 7 trads.
Neat little spot here. We were about 40 m from it when we realised that James had left his jacket at the previous cache.... So after backtracking to get that, we got to this one finally and after a short search found the hide. Interesting spot with what looks like a mine remnants. TFTC.

A quick flying trip to Albury for work, and I'm able to grab a few caches before I leave. Gotta love that. Thanks for the fun in Albury, next time I'll have to stay longer.
Out enjoying the beautiful day and exploring the hill. We have never been here and enjoyed it immensely. We loved how you took us off the main trail and onto the mountain bike trails. We would have just walked past the trail normally.
This cache is in a beautiful spot, so well done for your first hide.

#780 found on day 252 and what a splendid day it was with a plan to do some more in the area that failed dur to incorrect loading of the GPS the day ended with this being the only find for the day and after a nice walk into GZ all the way from Range Road some 2-3Ks it was a rather rewarding day to see the sights of Albury form this area on what was such a beatuiful morning and with no fog around the hills it was the view that made the trip worth while also the Mountain bikers were doing an event hear today and that would have made finding any other cache interesting to say the least. This area is very popular with runners also as I saw at least 10 runners her this morning.
Thanks hamfamity for a great location and keep up the great work.

2nd of the day. Was on the way back to the car from "Lightning Strike" and thought I'd have a look to see how far the other caches were to where I was standing, one was a little under 200mt and this one was a little over 400mt so took the time on the quiet mid Saturday o go find both.
Haven't really explored much of this side of Nail Can hill and glad there a few caches out this way to bring people out. Very nice area, and enjoyed making my way off track to pick up the caches.
Some large grey roos about, and nothing else
Picked up GC and left TB. Cheers.

Well was on a mountain bike ride with a couple of mates when I asked if we could make a detour !! LOL . Parked the bikes at the bottom of the track and walked the 40m to GZ. Cache found quick enough due to the spot on co ords. Thanks Hamfamity for showing me this side of the "can".
Nice to get a FTF but I suppose shift work provides plenty of weekday opportunities. In between night shifts and this one popped up on the notifications. Since I have one not too far away I thought that after I get up today I'll grab the pampered pooch and try to locate "Mine your line" and check things are ok with "Isolation". I decided to approach from the North via Centaur Road and see what happens. The day was fantastic, the walk sensational and the sights splendid. I left the Ridge Trail at the Coopers Trail junction and proceeded to GZ from the lower end of the Mine the Line bike trail. I've got to say you mountain bikers are crazy! Great spot for a cache and SL at 1pm. Took an old friend Fowler and left the Cache-O-Rater geocoin. TFTC hamfamity.
