Found within my famous trip around New Zealand. Thanks for nice cache ....................................................................... TB Koumesovo geopivo DDEV7M
Nice easy find. Parking not so good coming north but going south would be no problem. Tftc
Day 8 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today our tour is going from Punakaiki to Nelson. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

#11,303. I stayed overnight in Murchison and drove through to Westport this morning to meet a work colleague. We are heading down to Punakaiki today. After picking her up at the airport and getting breakfast in town we headed south, stopping for a few roadside caches on the way. Parked right next to GZ and an instant find. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks weenz for hiding it here.
Found while on our journey today from Westport to Punakaiki. All in order here. TFTC
We like the ones where there is room to pullover and grab the caches. Thanks heaps.
Found on this beautiful day.
We searched around and it wasn't long before we spotted the cache Thank you for the cache

Wending my way home from Punakaiki after completing the Pararoa Track, tried but happy.
Time for a quick side-stop.
Clearly my stomach has now diverted my thinking abilities! I took the cache title too literally and was about to DNF....

A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on the west coast, hopefully to complete the PWGT GeoTour this weekend, with only 2 to go. Another glorious day today, fine weather for most of the caching time. Up to Denniston was definately a highlight, with good views and no wind.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Heading down SH 6 to Greymouth this afternoon. One of New Zealand's great coastal drives. Really good to be here again today after a long absence. No worries here. TFTC
Nice that the traffic is so sparse and it is easy to pull over for these caches. Chatted to a local who assured us that the weather in Wesport is it's best kept secret as it never rains when they say it will. So far so good! Cache is all good. TFTC
Found with NZDi. We are staying at Carters Beach Holiday Camp as a base for a few days geocaching on the Wet Coast. Todays plan is to head to Greymouth picking up as many roadside PnGs as we can, with a few more interesting excursions thrown into the mix.
This is our fifth cache of the day, and was another weenz random roadside cache highlighting a roadside feature that was collected just for the numbers. Of course if there is a Big Totara just back up the road, then there must be a Little Totara nearby.
A QEF PnG.

*Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!*
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
Weather was quite bad again with several heavy showers of rain
*We soon had another good cache located!*

Today was the day that I was going to head southwards towards Greymouth locating and signing off the roadside caches that I couldn't get with my snail shell on behind. I left the shell back in Westport enjoying the sunshine.
I DNFed this nearly 3 years ago so it was great to see it replaced.
Cheers for the cache.

We did all we wanted around Greymouth and now we are on our way to Westport. We had a list of all the caches on the road north. Another one Mr S had to get Mrs S's eyes must be painted on today.
Thanks weenz. Another smilie on the road north.

Definitely one of the more interesting cache site
Found it without any problems
Despite the rain I had a good time down here so I'am planning on coming back down to the South Island in December 2020 or in the following January and this time I will spend at least two weeks down here so that I can take my time and see more of the sights and of course get a lot more caches
I'm down here in the Mainland the last time I was here was back in the late 70s visiting my cousin for the school holidays
This time I'm down here to two reasons.
Reason one is to visit a friend who has come up and visited me and Scoria on numerours occasions. Both Scocia and I have said they we both would come down and visit him many times but we never got round to it and now that scoria is marred it is less likely that we well both get down there at the same time to visit our friend. So I decide not to put it off any longer, so I called him up and arrange to come down to the Mainland for a visit.
Reason two is to get geocaches in the following four regions Marlborough, Canterbury, West coast, Tasman and Nelson targeting Mailbox Virtual and trying to get at least one cache that start with the following letter in each of the four mention regions these letter are A E I L O R T V this letters will allow me to finish off the cache The Spelling Challenge #5: New Zealand (Manawatu) GC5GQVY and any other caches that I collect will be a welcome bonus
Blackie the Sheep
Blackie is a work mascot that likes to travel so when one of us workers goes on a holiday he likes to tag along and have his photo taken at the various place that we visit .
Thanks for the cache

Had a great day, walking some of the tracks then a swim in Joyce Bay and a picnic lunch. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining the cache.
Don't often do park n grab caches but made an exception for this one. It was a quick find. TFTC.
The rain decided to stay away this morning to allow a short road trip to find a few caches.
This little one looks very similar to the big one.
Thanks for the park and grab.

Today was day one of 7 on a trip around the South Island for Jo and I, and the first leg is Blenheim to Hokitika. An early start and on our road trip we targeted caches after St Arnaud. That was the desired plan, but necessitated by the fact it was still dark as we drove through there anyway. After that it was pretty much find anything on our side of the road as we drove west, but as we moved on we set goals to be in certain towns by certain times, so skipped large chunks. The weather changed from light drizzle to full on rain, which also scuppered some plans on targeted caches and left us cold and wet for most of the trip.
But all up a good day.
Jo used to live in these parts, but hasn’t been here for about 16 years; for me it has been about 13 since a trip down here. So we enjoyed the scenery, and the changes, and also the caches so credit and thanks to all the COs for maintaining these.

Stopped here on the way to Westport this afternoon, an instant find in the first place checked. Signed log, TFTC.
Heading North and grabbing a few as I go. I'd noticed this simple trad was missing for the last few people so came prepared with a replacement - a screw-top matchstick holder with RITR log-strip. Good to go again. Now on to Totara's larger brother. T F T C weenz
First up I was awake on pre daylight saving hours and awake at 5.15 and ready to go. Way too early for that sort of stuff so after a pre-pack of my gear and, after another Maccas breakfast, I grabbed a few in the early morning haze.
Day 3 of the West Coast trip and the day to head back to sunny Marlborough. I'd been tracking the weather forecast all week and today was supposed to be showers for most of the day so the plan was to find as many caches before the weather set in for a spell so I decided that a concerted effort on a few more Greymouth caches was required before heading back home via Pancake Rocks and Westport. I'd travelled that road a few times before, but still had some patches of unfinished business here and there. As it was I got home just about on dark but with a pleasing haul of another 30-plus caches which made my first 3 days of April as prolific as my first 3 months of 2018!
Will try and log specific experiences where I recall them, otherwise it's thanks to the efforts of all COs for their placements.
Easter weekend 2018 is here and I have a cunning plan. Well, a caching plan, but what's the difference? With mrs and daughter working over the weekend and me with a few days off work there was a chance to convert some of my solved puzzles over on the West Coast into smiley faces. And add to my West Coast caching total. And do the Point Elizabeth walk, and several other appealing strolls. And some other stuff and all the way along gaining extra points for the planetary Challenge thingy to gain some electronic 2D Geo-souvenirs. And so, setting off around 0730 on Easter Sunday with the trusty mountain bike aboard (for the Greymouth beach-side track) I clocked up just under 1000 kms by road, a few extra on 2 wheels and several more on 2 feet, quite the trip. The threatened rain only arrived on the second afternoon in Hokitika (by which time I'd done my walks for the day) and the drive back from Greymouth via Westport was in blazing Autumn sunshine - Beautiful. Fantastic scenery all around and a large number of caches from b&w and gracie7&mum helped the total to just over 180 finds.
An awesome few days which my family wouldn't have enjoyed, but conversely actually would have, for the most part. An FTF in Reefton on the way through on Day 1 was another bonus, and monkey off the back for the monthly streak. A few DNFs which is to be expected with that many looked for, but a lot of good sights and experiences too. Thanks to all the COs for their placements.

I looked in several of the obvious places but nothing was found. Maybe the CO should check it out.
We saw someone diving into the bush at Big Totara which reminded us to look at the list and we saw this was the next one, so we found it, thinking he might join us, but it was such a quick find that we were on our way without seeing him.
We saw him again much later in the day, further down the coast, fossicking around in another bush. Now we realise he was doing something to flowering manuka as we saw more than a few with plastic bags tied over them, obviously his work, but why?
