It must be incredibly well tucked away or else it's not there, I'm afraid. Another DNF in the rain for me today.
Hmm, that found log below mine for today doesn't make me feel any better about this DNF.
I parked on a side road and was sure the amount of water screaming down the gutter would eventually wash my car away. I bailed out into the driving rain and it was far too windy for the umbrella, so I braved this one and the brunt of the weather without protection. At least there were no muggles
I made my way across the road into the worst of the wind and rain and sheltered behind a tree to read the cache page as I'd forgotten to until now. I quickly located GZ but couldn't see the beat up in there. I guess looking is hard with a faceful of rain. I checked the plants below but really only spent a minute or two here before the water in my eyes and driving rain became a bit much. I'd also noted the previous DNF. But I guess it must still be there. I'll be back on a sunnier day for sure

Finding it wasn't the hardest part, getting it in and out was..... Luckily, the weather kept the uggle numbers down !
TFTC, We found few today and have left a gift voucher in 3 of our 5 finds..... Hope you enjoy !

Just arrived in Qld after a flight up from Vic and had to do at least one cache up here today. Thanks for the cache.
Arrived at GZ only to find ex cyclone Oswald had robbed us of access to where dogs dogs not allowed.
The hardest part here was extracting the container from its hidey hole. Nice easy one.

I had just arrived by bicycle at the cache site and was waiting for 3 family members to walk by when one of them asked "Are you Geocaching?"
Nice to meet you Pure Sri
So while having a chat the cache was found and the log was signed. It's always nice to meet catchers out in the field.
Thanks for the cache.

Bribed the family into letting me do 2 caches in exchange for thin chips from the Red Dolphin. I was short changed because there was a steady stream of muggles at Margate BBQ so we moved on to this one. Low and behold a man just pulled up at GZ as we got there. I spied his gps so we introduced. Interesting as I met you guys at a Redcliffe cache too. Nice nifty hide in good condition. Thanks.
Took a couple of relatives with me to try and introduce them to the fun.
found it quickly and a lot of questions followed. thanks for the cache.

Definitely not, for those suffering from Ducks Disease, few muggles about, but strong winds keeping a lot away to day.
Not many people around today with the blowy weather; had just skipped the close by neighbour as there were muggles there, and what do you know: a muggle family almost sitting on top of GZ! Fortunately they were just leaving so not a lot of stealth was required to obtain the Cache.

Beautiful evening to be out and about by the sea
Found with a little prodding and a break in the slow-flowing muggle traffic.
Thanks for the cache and beautiful scenery

Found whilst caching with Dannza for the day. Geo hubby, daughter and son-in-law had jumped from a perfectly good plane this morning at Redcliffe. So after my heartbeat returned to normal I ventured off to complete some Geocaching therapy. Good thing Mr Dannza was with us as I have put my back out before trying to lift Mrs Dannza to these high ones lol TFTC
Thank goodness geo hubby has a long reach as I didn't want Straddie to have to lift me up or try and stand on my back. LOL
Took my geopooch, CrookedRuby, for a walk (on a leash naturally) along the foreshore this afternoon, whilst the kids rode their bikes.
Ruby kept watch for muggles. Eventually, there was a gap in the afternoon walkers, enabling a quick grab. Definately a case of feeling rather than seeing this one.
Took a few nice photo's of the pooch hanging out, which I'll post when I download.

Wow, 3rd time trying to find this one. Finally found it. Vertically challenged but got it in the end. It is not on the ground. TFTC.
Plenty of muggles passing by but I had a good search of the spot with no luck.
Searched the ground as well but couldn't locate anything.

vertically challenaged but got it.......not many muggles out & about yet ..tftc
Had a muggle sitting nearby watching me so couldn't go for a closer look which is a pain because I'm sure I know exactly where it is. Will have to come back another time.
Out on a very hot and windy day for December. The boardwalk was in full swing but we managed to hone in on the GZ without too much trouble. Now - which side. Hmmm
Wazza&Kara worked his magic and we soon had it narrowed down. Tricky hide but well worth the effort all the same.
Cache and contents all in good order.
Pity we couldn't stay for a swim today.

A sneaky container which did take a bit of looking for. The persistence of Skibeagle163 paid off and the container was located. Signed the log.
What a great spot . It is so tiny. Hopefully we will find more in the area during our holiday. Greetings from the Czech Republic and thanks.
Out and about on the bikes with IolantheK. We managed to ride almost up to Scarbough before returning to the southern end of the Houghton bridge where we started. Around 31Km [^]
After doing a couple of caches at the northern end of the Houghton bridge we decided to ride to the most northern cache we wanted to collect today and then work our way south collecting as we went. It also made the return trip a lot easier as we had a strong head wind on the way up
Arrived at GZ and searched and searched. In the end I had an idea on where the cache might be hiding which proved to be correct [^].
The cache is dry and in good condition

Out and about with T-Tech on the bikes this afternoon, doing a total of 31kms
We'd ridden from the southern end of the Houghton Hwy, across the bridge, then along the coast all the way to Scarborough, and began to collect a few caches on the way back. Attempt number 2 for me at this one, as I'd had a go with some friends way back in August, with no luck as it was missing. Today T-Tech spotted the cache easily. It's a tiny little container TFTC, Kevs_Team.

Riding along the shores of Redcliffe this morning I stopped in this dog free area
The dog on the sign must be called [brown]'Rusty'[/brown]
I asked him where he had buried the cache, one bark for in the sand, two barks for in the garden, three barks for .... well you get the idea.
Five barks was the answer and I stuck me paw where [brown]'Rusty'[/brown] told me and there was the cache [^]
TFTC WOOF !!

A busy day on the beach but the muggles paid me no heed as I retrieved, dropped, re-retrieved, signed and replaced the cache. As I replaced it, a muggle with a dog appeared and joined his family/friends on the beach 5m from GZ. Honestly, people, can't you see this here sign that I'm pointing to....

I must admit, I had to chuckle as I watched EngPhil trying to be stealthy and then DROPPING THE CACHE
A quick grab while I sat with the sleeping geokids, then off to finish cleaning up the peninsula. Onward!

Found at 3.16pm Almost broke a nail! Best for those not vertically challenged! Hardest part was getting the log out of the nano. Beautiful day. Wish I was fishing but caching just as fun. TFTC!
Out with seirra1 but could not locate the cache. Will try again some other time when we are in the area. Thanks Kevs Team
Sadly, no dogs OR caches were hanging out here today. Based on previous logs and the name, the three of us were pretty sure we knew where to look, but even with some shenanigans, had no luck. I don't want to be the kind of person who says "We didn't find it so it's not there", but... there's a good possibility it's not there. Thanks anyway.
Had a bit of look for this one but there were roadworks nearby and all the traffic controllers were not very busy working. WIll try this one another time.
Pulled up at Gz & thought we could lay our hands on this straight away. No such luck

After our failure up the road a bit, we pulled the car up very close to this one and saw straight away where the treasure would probably be . I jumped out and grabbed it with no problems and returned to the car for the signing ... which turned out to be the trickiest part of the whole deal . Lucky we had a heap of pens in the car, because the first few i tried refused to mark the waxy paper. TFTC Kevs Team
I was in the area for work and as I finished just before dark I thought I better grab a couple nearby while I was over this way.... the first cache I pulled up to had a couple of muggles sitting right on top of it eating dinner.... I decided they looked like they were there for the long haul and made my way down the road a little to this one... before I even got there I knew exactly where to look and spotted it instantly... but how was I going to get it... waiting for a decent gap in muggle traffic I dove in and grabbed the little sucker... sat on the nearby bench seat to sign the log... now to get it back again... some minor acrobatic skills were needed on my behalf but I soon had the little sucker back where he belonged
tftc on a beautiful Saturday evening in Margate

Only find from two attempts today at 2:49:00 PM.
I had tried to find this cache when it was first placed but I hadn't loaded it onto my GPSr and didn't bring my iPhone. Today was a good day for caching as the cool weather meant there weren't many people about. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find it after an initial DNF on Margate BBQ area. But I did.

I could not seem to see this one but tooka probe with my tool to be rewarded with a cache appearance, Log seems a bit strange and needs to be replaced
Geomunchkin and i popped in to grab a couple of caches on the waterfront this morning. Still very foggy and eerie this morning, bee-lined straight for the cache and we took it back to the car to sign, however the logbook is a weird mess. Took a photo instead. Cache returned, i like its hiding place. TFTC kevs team, might help to get my COs right
Easy find but just as I was about to retrieve it a family of muggles decided this was the place to take their shoes off and play in the sand, so moved on to the next & picked it up on the way back.

A nice quick find in the company of a few famous Brissie cachers! We couldn't hang around though with a plane to Canberra to catch. TFTC Kevs Team!
found after heading home from the event... nice quick find with mum and dad as they had already found it
at 16:36. Given that the gang were all there it was a bit easy but it was where we expected.
TFTC Kevs_Team. The cache is fine.

I was in the right place but had to PAF as my fingers ran over it twice..found with a very full log...tftc
I found it and took a photo but I could not reach it without giving the game away, there were too many people passing. (Right after school is probably a bad time for this cache) It sounds like the logbook is too messy to sign anyhow.
Easy find very difficult to write on roll with anything, pencil perhaps best bet
Had trouble finding this one the first time past. Moved to another and then contacted CO for a hint. Seems we were looking in the right place and looking for the right size container. Returned after being treated to coffee and took my magic tool with me. Well that was easy that time. Will make sure I have tool in pocket all the time.

coffee and a chat with the CO verified we were in the right place and looking for almost the right container

Overcast day but jr (3) wanted to go "find some shells". Thought Redcliffe would be perfect for this, and it was. Parked at Humpybong state school (where the Bee Gees went) and walked up the beach and checked the geoapp to see what might be around, and saw this one. Spotted where the cache must be from the sand. Walking back south on the pathway and discreetly grabbed the nano, taking it to the nearby seat to sign.
However, No tweezers. Tried a pen, fingernails and hairpin (wife's). Then read some old logs. So we were unprepared and have learned a lesson.
Will be back to sign the log at a later date.
Tftc. Great spot. Great fish and chips 100m north.

Liked this different type of nano! Easy find on a busy evening with people out enjoying the beautiful surroundings Thanks Kevs Team 4TC:)
Continued on the walk to this cache. Geopartner found this one. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Kevs Team
Found at 0920 wh Marg. Took no time to find but extracting th log was another matter. TFTC.
A great day to do this one as the weather put off most of the people in the area.
Spotted this one straight away - lucky I had one of the geo kids with me - had to lift her up to reach it!!
A bit easier than the cache up the road! Loki was *just* able to reach it. Thanks Kevs_Team
Wow... What a disaster! Good news was I found the cache. Bad news was I dislodged it and it found itself another home out of view in a very dark, dirty, rubbish filled, sandy home. Now I didn't want to leave it in its new home so I crawled under and into it's home and then had to find it. Mind you I had walked about 7km, it was 7:30pm, and it was freezing! I was under there for about 5 minutes when my torch made something shine!!! GOT IT!!! Back to GZ I go and found a spot to rest and sign. Open the cache. Ok tweezer time... Wait... Where are they??? I have dropped them somewhere between red cliffs and here!!! @&$%!!!! Use an earring... Break the earring I replaced the cache and walked away shattered. I will log it now so I can share my story but I will sign the log when I am up there next. Thanks for the cache!!
After deciding to ditch the household chores I found myself at this lovely area. It was full of muggles, but there is nothing like trying to retrieve a cache in between muggles. This one was a quick find and just as well, muggles tend to stare at you if you loiter in a suspicious manner for to long.

1309 - Well we found it where I thought it would be, but not after Brissy Guy Junior tried to convince me that it wasn't there and it was likely to be in other places. Luckily I persevered and I found it after he had searched around for about 5 minutes. Found in good condition at 1:55pm. This is a well hidden cache - TFTC Kevs_Team.
The other nearby cache had a resident.... So I was happy that this one had no one near it!!
Had a quick look around and spotted a likely spot!
Ah yes!! there it is!!
Signed with a pencil.... which wasn't the best on this right in the rain paper.
Nice spot to sit and sign a logbook!! Thanks Kevs Team

After a failed attempt at the new one up the road I decided this would be a bit easier, sounded straight forward even read the hint , but once again hidden too good for me to find, have to come back soon and try again ... thanks
*FTF* at 4pm. Quick find and great hidy hole. With the title we thought it could only be in that one place. However, we found it very difficult to write on the waterproof paper and made a bit of a mess with our first attempt so found another pen and went back to try to fix it up!!
Nice colour!

=) Turned up here for my second attempt inbetween the relentless searching of the other new cache just up the road... this time it was quite simple really , less walkers on the boardwalk and less of me being pigheaded and thinking i knew the type of container i was looking for, turned out to be a nice little variation of it in a stylish colour, and a nice little break from my fruitless searching at the other cache... Thanks for the hide Kevs Team =)
