WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 49 - Bunbury Day 1. I headed out on my scooter to do a morning of caches near the caravan park and along the fore shore to the port. I still had enough charge to get into town and along the river to have a look for a few caches there too. The afternoon was in the car, and I got a bit more coastal. As far as caching itself went, it was a really u and down day. Several caches that had been not found before I also failed at, but some that had no DNFs I also could not find. I managed to do quite a few Lab as well before stopping caching and doing some shopping and a car chore.I am glad I found a log that said to ignore the electrical box, as I had run out of spots to look on it. I expanded my search a bit and soon made a noisy find. Thanks for the cache dimor47700.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Geocaching HQ Lackey 2021 tag A#446**Albida**

Not easy with muggles out drinking across the road. My toothy grin when we found it was also hard to hide

We are from Switzerland...and we travel all states and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of that green ones Smilies .We travel now around WA before we leave for other countrys . We stay in Bunbury the third day without a caravan park to be on over Easter .To load our gps we had to drive around a bit .and today we really run out of power ..We foud a solution ..The museum let us load up our gps so we could walk around geocaching ..it was a long long way back to our camper van but lovely sceneries and the beaches . We spoted most caches after a short search .Thank you for this Dsli (which means in Swiss cache)oinkoinkSearched first in wrong Spot..then I had an idea where to look ..a cleaner place without spiderwebs !
Down in Bunbury for the week from Perth. Didn't find today. Will come back sometime.
Drove down to Bunbury for the day to do some caching and check out the sights, had a great day and ended up doing a 25km walk around town collecting geos and ALs, probably did a lot of circles of the same areas of town! There was a family standing right where GZ was pointing as we meandered past so the decision was made to circle back after getting a few more further along.....It was a beautiful Spring Sunday afternoon after all so to be expected! Glad that we read some previous logs that mentioned not to focus on the electrical box and quickly found once that was taken out of the equation....now the Brewery across the road seems to be calling us! Thank you baffle/dimor for placing and maintaining Guppy for us and others to find and enjoy!
Little elephant found this one. We walked past it about 10 times before looking a bit harder. TFTC
X found this one, TFTC! Just out for lunch, thought we’d find a cache while we were at it
This evening, after work, we went for a walk to get two geocaches. We got the first, but encountered a gate at the second. So we were in need of another target. This one struck our awareness.
We’d been past here before, but there have always been muggles around. At this time though there was no one.
We had a preconceived idea of where it might be and I spent a while checking and double-checking the spot. I joined TaurusSix on a seat to ponder the next move. I read something in a past log that got me thinking. I looked around and saw an unlikely option. On inspection thought I spotted the cache. I can see why I didn’t think of this earlier.

On a motorcycle trip from Sydney, made the quick find while waiting for the brewery to open where we plan to have lunch before pushing on to Margaret River for a few days. Phone camera on selfie mode was MVP. TFTC!
Back to Guppy Park to right the wrong of a DNF. Nice & early start this morning with hollowfrog taking honours. Head shake for not getting this the first time (haha) tftf

#2426 - Visiting the west coast all the way from the east coast, enjoying the wildflowers and everything else that comes our way.
I walked straight up to where I thought I would find the cache, but looked at my GPS again and noticed I was a few steps out. Real good reception today, so my GPS was very accurate. I turned around and... found it!

My and my cousin decided to go on a late night adventure cache hunting and finally came across this. Originally because of the discription I thought it was under a bench Great hiding spot!!!
I did not find any guppies here, but, after targeting the wrong location, the GPS got its act together, and I did find this cache. Great hide, I am loving caching in Bunbury.
Found as team MICKS.
Cache in good condition.
This is my 2751 find.
Thank you dimor for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

Having to head home with axell33 from WAGB 2022 weekend, we checked out of the hotel and took a walk to get the few caches around us before heading off. A check here, a look there and then we had it! Fortunately early enough that there is not many muggles around. Thanks for the hide baffle.
Unfortunately due to work commitments we had to head home today from WAGB so before we left we decided to have a early morning walk and grab some more caches before we left. This was our first stop for the morning and being a sunday morning we had the place to ourselves. After a few minutes searching we finally found this little guy. We added our name to your log and returned your cache back to where it hides. TFTC baffle & dimor. It was nice catching up with you dimor. See you next time we are down this way.
Down in Bunbury for WAGB22 picking up smileys and everything else. TCTC some quick finds for the day with team MICKS signed as B345

Day 3 at WAGB and there were a couple of early dashes out the door with junior team members to complete a new lab cache and chase a FTF.
Once the craziness of the morning subsided I chilled around Bunbury with the kids before heading up to Collie for the CITO.
Lunch was held at the Federal and then we ventured into the bush to chase a JASMER spot for me.
Back down the hill for some more down time before joining a large group for dinner and another find or two.
Another absolutely fantastic day out and about with the MICKS has me turning in with 27 finds, 10 adventure labs and 0 DNF’s.
Thanks dimor for placing Guppy for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 22:06 on 5/6/2022.
This is find number 5181 for me.

Enjoying a long weekend in Bunbury for WAGB Spent the day pottering around picking up caches as I went - after a leisurely breakfast of course! This was one that I stopped off at today. When I first arrived and saw someone sitting on the bench I figured I'd have to come back again later - then I realised that wasn't GZ... and even better, I realised I could also retrieve the cache without bench-man noticing Happy days. A nice quick find here today - TFTC
In the bunbury area for WAGB22, out with a few other caches to try our luck.

In Bunbury and Collie for WAGB2022! A massive weekend of caching and catching up with friends. A big thank you to all the COs that have placed caches for this weekend, as well as COs maintained by existing listings. You have made this weekend what it is! Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers dimor!
A number of oldies sitting nearby but very aware of the caches existence.
Skinny after a longer search than I would have had. The cache is still magnetic.
