I arrived here to read the list of DNFs. I also saw the childs playing on the swings. Waited for 5 until they left. Not many spots here. No luck.
Did find/see something but not sure if it was the cache

Had a look for this one but it was really hot and I couldn't make the find in the time i had. Hope it's still in place. Thanks anyway.
We were out and about with a previous finder and our search location was confirmed.
After a very thorough look, no cache was found here today.

It's a lovely day so went out for a bit of caching today with kmace. This was one she had found before so I did it solo - and it didn't take too long to find this one - not many hiding spots!!! Thanks to jacimarble for this one.
Spiffy- and I headed out for what is becoming as regular Sunday Arvo cache run. Having done most in this series we decided to collect this one on our travels. TFTC
Today we continued what is becoming an enjoyable and fairly regular Sunday afternoon caching run and today was another afternoon of getting at least 6 multis in the day for a challenge cache we want to collect on a future road trip in a few weeks. Today the weather was absolutely perfect and was great to get back into wearing the shorts again so we could get plenty of scratches on our legs.
-----------------------------------------------
We were on a roll now and already had 9 multis but were having fun so we continued on and arrived at the start point and parked in the car park and headed into the reserve.
Since we had already collected most of the other caches in this series we knew exactly what we were looking for and parked at the end of the court to find a thankfully deserted park and after a short search a familiar find was made and we headed on our way.
Thanks Jacimarble for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

I was in the area and thought I would have a look. It was nowhere to be seen!
We failed to locate this one and wonder if it is still there.
Perhaps the CO could confirm.

Looked high and low but no go.

Find #452
I was parked just around the corner as I had found another cache in the park and so decided to approach this one on foot so as to not draw attention to myself. I really dislike playground caches even when empty and so I confess I went straight to the hint so that I could get out of there as quickly as possible.
It was an easy find and with the log signed, I was on my way. SL TFTC

It's the beginning of National Blood Donor Week, so after attending a very nice morning tea at the Melbourne Town Hall Hall with my family and some of my fellow donors, I had a ticket for the entire Metro system sitting in my pocket, and would have been a fool not to take advantage of it.
The glorious weather during the week had broken just in time for the weekend, so my planned big day of caching was scaled down a tad, but there was still one cache I was determined to get, even if it meant a drenching. So after a bit of shopping, I left the others to make their own way home, and jumped on the Frankston train with a minute to spare.
I think this is the fourth of this series that I have found, so I knew exactly what to look for. A quick grab by torchlight on a damp evening... no concerns about looked suspicious around a playground tonight. Thanks, Jacimarble.

I was with some friends and I thought "I wonder if there are any nearby?". My search came up with "60m away", brilliant! Nice, quick cache. The clue aided our speed immensely!
Still desperately trying to find our way back to the Peninsula Link trail, we simply couldn't let this one pass by. Besides, two old blokes in lycra in a kid's playground isn't too suspicious now is it ? Thankfully, s had the stash in hand quite quickly at 14:00 so we were able to sign the log and get going thus letting the kids get back to the play equipment .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Jacimarble.

Find #5 of a joint ssmc4 & EuDes bike-riding caching adventure along the PLT (which during the day brought up my 1500th find milestone).
It was very nice to be able to ride on actual bitumen after our adventures in the Flora & Fauna Reserve (but with more to come - stay tuned!)
After a short search the clever little container was spotted. Thanks jacimarble.

Our first in this series and also our first outing to Frankston North...fortunately DarkyP and Mrs Zombiedogs wore hoodies so we fit right in...
Another one down! Every time this series pops up, the They Might Be Giants song gets stuck in my head, so thanks for that! And, if you care, they're actually coming to Melb to do two shows very soon, I heartily recommend going to here this, and many more!
Anyway, quick simple find in a randomly empty park. Had a play on the swings, then it was off to the next. Thanks for the cache, and the series. 2 found!

we were nearby to this cache, so we thought we should drop by to try to find it.
With both of us there in the empty park it wasn't long until the flashlight shone upon the cache. After a little bit of fussing around we extracted the log (my tool did not fit!) and got the log signed.
Thanks for the smiley Jacimarble. Another day ticked off on the calender.

After a caching mission of the PLT series with BorisB&Natasha, we noticed we were in the vicinity of this and couldn't resist stopping by for this one. Soon found the cleverly hidden cache. I look forward to finding the other colours one day. Thanks Jacimarble for the cache.
Was out with Pea bear today & as this one has been on our radar for quite a while we decided that a very hot afternoon would be the perfect time. Not a muggle in sight & Pea bear went straight to it. Thanks Jacimarble for a fun cache.
I picked this cache up, at 12:27pm. After dropping the other half at his hobby (The Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club) I decided to head south and pick up some puzzles I'd solved, and start working towards the roy g biv series.
This cache, being the furthest away from my usual caching haunts, was first cab off the rank. I realised the reason it is placed here right away, I have a photo I'd like to add to my log, but I'm not sure if it would be considered a spoiler....
The cache was a straight forward hide which I found quickly.
Thanks for the cache Jacimarble.

We met up for this trip at a nearby fine dining establishment. The team was assembled and our focus for today was for another cache in a nearby park, it was nice to also grab these caches whilst in the area.
Thanks jacimarble.. read full log on GC3XB1M if your not easily scared... (dangerous)..
The others had already found this one.. I was on my own (mostly) however the colourful little guy was soon discovered..

Found @1235 #2339
Out with Ahomburg caching thru the area today and the weather was ideal and alot cooler then the day before. Had cache thru some of this area before but not found all the caches. It was interesting seeing the changes as the new Peninsula link was quite a feature on the landscape.
O yea another of the roy g biv caches now found, haven't got too many more to go now. A fun hunt which was initially missed but finally spotted from the right direction. TFTC Jacimarble

Find # 2490
After a bit of a restless night due to very hot overnight temperatures, my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave picked me up at 9.30 and we were headed for Frankston and the surrounding areas to pick up a few caches along the way.
This series has been on my radar since it was published, so as we were so close to this one, a perfect opportunity to progress the series. It took a while to locate this one and it was found in probably the last option.
Thanks to Jacimarble for the cache.

Found this one today. I have to say that I was disappointed with the location of this cache - I had been enjoying the series partly because they were in creative hides and not in playgrounds so this one didn't meet up to expectations. I signed the log but didn't swap anything. This was one of my caches on the want to do list for tonight's run so it is nice to have it completed.
Thanks for the cache Jacimarble.
Thanks for the cache Jacimarble.
We found this cache today at 3:55pm as the 19th of 31 on our UFO to IFO caching afternoon. Our 'pen'ultimate find in this series. We have enjoyed the theme. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
I got the shock of my life here when the Moose told me he didn't get who 'Roy G' was... I stared at him in disbelief, and said, seriously? 'Who is he?' was the reply. Another incredulous 'seriously?' from me. When I finally got over my astonishment, I said, did you never learn of ROY G BIV in primary school? A blank look told me he WAS serious. So I enlightened him to something that I always thought every english-speaking primary school student knew... and hopefully now when we do the rest of the series, he will have some idea of what we are looking for!
Amazing the things we take for granted. Thanks for the cache.
PS I didn't ask how he remembered the colours of the rainbow...

When we arrived we thought, not another "........." type cache, however the closer we got it was evident that the place was deserted! Maybe too hot for some. It was an easy find now and we were able to log & leave.

The Demolition Crew and the Rebel Alliance (LLTRA) teamed up once again for a night of caching fun on bikes and foot. The early evening was focused on gaining two more squares for the D/T matrix by bike which saw us climb a few big hills in the Lysterfield area. The remaining part of the night’s caching saw us in an area where all could bag a fair number of finds. I must say is getting harder to find such areas with all of us having cleared large areas of Melbourne. This time we headed south to the Mount Martha area of town. Oh another playground cache - good it's pitch black! Thanks.
On way to aqua aerobic, turn off to find this cache.

Got to GZ and found the cache lying on the ground, having a rest from all the activity. Signed log and replaced cache appropriately. Still have a couple of this series to do.
Out on a night caching run with Danozz in the Eastern Melbourne area and down as far as The Briars in Mt Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. The night was a puzzle clean up night, I had heaps solved, and don't know how many opportunities I will get to grab the finals, so tonight was the night. 30 caches found including 16 puzzles and several multis.... A top night of caching.
I thought I had done all in the series, but there you go. Glad it was night in this location with no junior muggles about. TFTC.

Well it seems I've found 1 of the 7 caches from the series Maybe one day I'll be able to further my progress.
Thankfully no muffles around. I felt dirty enough as it was looking round a playground without muggle kids wondering what the funny man with a pen was doing. TNLN

Out and about today with only one of the Earthbound children in tow. He got excited when we pulled up and he saw a playground. We were very relieved to have him with us, we wouldn't have searched for this one otherwise. There was a muggle in the corner of the park planting a tree. A middle aged couple "playing" on a playground is not generally a socially acceptable activity, no matter how young at heart you are! The accompanying 8 year old makes life easier in this situation, he found the cache, handed it over and immediately jumped on a swing. We seemed to scare the muggle away though as he very quickly wound up what he was doing as we entered the park and scampered off to one of the neighbouring houses. TFTC
In frankston for work today had time for a few caches in area series almost done. Thanks Jacimarble
Found on a day out caching with Roostaman around the area, this was a quick find in the first place I felt. caches on playgrounds are not my favorite and are widely frowned upon by the geocaching community.
Found @ 4:20pm, find # 1539.
I needed to fill in todays square so I was off to find this one.
I arrived at the park where GZ is and on a wet and cold today there was no one to be seen, I headed over to GZ and made a quick find.
After talking to the CO at a recent event and doing some homework I now know what roy g biv is all about and the theme to this caches.
This was my first find in the series and I hope to get a few more.

Found with Rebel Acts on a morning run to Frankston before the rain came back again.
We had a great run and some laughs too as we cached around the area between the sprinkles.
We had a quick look here and it was in the 1st & most obvious spot, which is surprising that it survives if the park has a lot of muggle visitors. TFTC,
Roostaman.

I'd planned to get the cache when it had first been published but noticed it had disappeared right after it had been found the first time. I was in the area a few days before and had not updated geosphere so it was still disabled to me but I happened to bump into the CO at another cache later in the day only to fine they had replaced the hide. Well this afternoon me and my two boys headed out to find the cache, which we did and signed the log, before playing in the park for the next half hour or so. A nice series and still a few more to go now. TFTC.
Having wandered around the nearby reserve I continued on foot to find this cache. A novel container. I like the theme of the series and look forward to completing some more of them. Thanks for the cache.
I handed the doggie to be minded nearby and saw that I was near another in this series of caches. Couldn't resist!
Found it, nice hide took me a little while,

Found it today just after (literally...) it was re-enabled by the CO (who yes...was with me...but I still went to where it should have been by myself!). Number 6 in the series for me...one more to go!
Well this one be seems to have been Muggled so it's disabled until I can get the replacement in place.

*FTF* I have driven past this court many times and noticed the park right there. A friend lives just down the road a little and each time I think I should go check out that park for a place to hide a cache. Today I can finally let that idea rest with a cache now taking up the area. When I got in the street a muggle decided it was time to leave there house but they had to warm there car up first. After a little time they left and I turned my light on for only a second to find the cache and then signed it with the ambient light around the place. The second cache in this series I have found.
