This cache is carrying a maintenance log which needs to be addressed by the cache owner.

The guidelines advise that the CO should make regular visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. You need to disable the cache if you cannot attend to it promptly - I have disabled it this time.

**Please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 29th January, otherwise it will be necessary to withdraw the cache from the Active listing.** The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Still nothing here

27-Oct-17
I don't always log one of these as I have been getting a lot of requests from Ground Speak to check on some of my caches and 95% of the time they are still there!
But being a small I still could not find it but it may just be well hidden.

25-Oct-17
We looked in many nooks and crannies today, the REd Ant scaled the heights and poked and proded many spots.
We couldn't see it either.
Maybe time for the CO to do a maintenance check here especially after the many logs mentioning a sad log book and time for a revamp.

25-Oct-17
This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.

22-Oct-17
did not find, nearly got stuck up the tree looking for it

14-Oct-17
We climbed but could not find ... sad face.

Fins 191: On a day's outing to Woodend, the Geo-fiancee insisted we find ourselves a few caches along the way. What can I say - Yes please. With her as the navigator and a quick drive up from home we were there in no time. While the geo-dog logged the trees, and quick climb up to D/T of T=3 I spied the cache in no time. I love the old bluestone railway bridges across the road. The log is saturated, but still managed to sign the log with a biro. TFTC theomcc.

Cute hide, but rather doggy. Might be in need of a revamp before winter. Thanks!

11-May-17
Getting rather soggy. In need of a revamp.

A quick find with the family. Thanks.

01-Jan-17
Found cache. Log quite damp.

01-Jan-17
I love a good tree climb, even at my age. I was going to have a go at this one a few weeks ago, but muggles wandering along the road deterred me.

Very sappy, so bring some some alcohol hand sanitizer to wash it off. The cache itself was wet, so I dried it out, however the log is still damp.

TFTC.

Did not find it

16-Nov-16
It was high, but it could have been a whole lot higher ! Great hide ! TFTC.

20-Oct-16
2 old chooks can't climb trees if that was the task. Befriended a baby magpie. Appreciated the old railway bridge. Needed some grandsons but they are all at school in Geelong. Thanks for this one anyway.

19-Oct-16
Visited today by Mrs despite and myself, we can see the spot we think it is but it is too high for the nearly 70 year old and also too higher for the nearly 60 year-old. Think we had better stick to the patchwork, we are returning disappointed to our retreat . Beautiful area though. Baby magpie enjoyed our company though. Could we have a smilie please??? Smile

09-Oct-16
Wow
Very windy day but still managed the little workout and found it.
Container is in good condition.
Cheers

19-Sep-16
Found it. Sent the young bloke in as point man.

24-Aug-16
Funny sight seeing me climb but we were without the geokids, so it had to be done. With Cherad guiding me from ground level, cache was in hand, tentatively signed ( log book is very wet) and replaced. TFTC and the chance to relive my childhood.

23-Aug-16
Found with Mi5sie as we visited the area, Think I had the best bit of the team effort, with Mi5sie agreeing to make the retrieval with my guidance from a safer footing, Although wishing I could of gone for it if only iI had knees that did as they were told lol. TFTC

Find number 5312 at 12:44:46 PM
DNF'd this one three years ago and I was passing this way again today, happily it's now a smilie Smile
Nice easy elevation job here although the cache log is well and truly damp.
**Thanks for placing this cache Cache Kid **

24-Jul-16
Log is very damp so needs some attention. Geo husband was very happy with the hide. Fun cache. Tftc

21-Jul-16
Had a good look but not for us.

15-Jul-16
Today we enjoyed the winter sun as we cached in the Woodend, Mt. Macedon and Riddell's Creek area, hoping to achieve our Centroid challenge. Found easily today but the log is wet.
Thanks Cache Kid for the hide.

30-Mar-16
Really easy! Clear as day.

27-Jan-16
A little difficult . But found it with help from the daughter going up

22-Jan-16
Had to send monkey boy no 2 to retrieve. This gorilla is too old and heavy.. (signed log as kptwit68)

21-Jan-16
Geokid7 was off to a party in woodend & happened to see this was close by. A quick stop before the party was to be had. Spotted the cache pretty quickly & she was determined to get it. Thongs & skirt are hardly appropriate geocaching attire! Easily solved, so up she went in bare feet & skirt hitched up & made the grab. Signed the log & off we went. Brought GK11 back there today so he could have a go...no tree shall remain unclimbed as far as he's concerned. TFTC

20-Jan-16
Tricky! Kids ended up with a few scratches but had lots of fun!!

05-Dec-15
Nice easy climb

TFTC great day out with Crack 'n' Lee Lee - congratulations on your 200th find!!

28-Nov-15
TFTC gave us a laugh finding it with 2beez for your 200th!

22-Nov-15
This was the only cache we did not attempt almost two years ago whilst in Woodend. After getting a few tree climbing caches under our belt now, we decided to give it another go today. The Pine is quite a magnificent specimen from the ground level. Mr Harrowang found his way up there among the birds and pine needles. SL at 2pm Rearranged the zip lock bags and replaced carefully, and made the descent safely. Now off to attend a special concert in Woodend. #3225 TFTC Cache Kid

21-Nov-15
Could see some suspicious looking sticks and pine needles up, and decided not to make the climb as I would have struggled to get onto the first branch. Will bring back a taller, tree climbing friend to assist with this Smile

05-Nov-15
Perfect spot. And now a few extra pine needles on top. Thanks

02-Oct-15
It was pretty awesome and easy but we found it so it was cool. Wink

21-Sep-15
Grabbing a few around Woodend we decided to find this one. As we got there Kenare saw what look like a cache on the ground. Signed log and placed back in tree. Tftc

21-Sep-15
Found the cache on the ground, signed and dad put it back in the tree. Tftc

21-Sep-15
This was a little bit disappointing as we were challenging Sean.75 to climb the tree for the cache but we got here only to find the cache on the ground. Ahh well, Nevermind. The log was signed and replaced in find tree. Not as high as it should be, but higher than it was. Tftc

21-Sep-15
This one had fallen down so it was easy. We put it back, but not where it's supposed to be, but at least it's off the ground. Tftc

12-Sep-15
Awesome, loved hunting for this one Smile tftc!

22-Aug-15
This was weird, we were heading to a B&B and there was a cache on their street. The dogs over the fence were curious but the hunt was on and with a bit of juggling the cache was in hand at 16:00. TFTC

19-Aug-15
Travelling around Australia and we are currently staying in Woodend.

Wow where is our time going. Our time is nearly at an end here.

Had to make sure we grabbed a cache today to continue our geostreak day 539 today!

This cache had us tricked well and truly. On arrival 'up' went Mr Felix, hmm how high? Twisted No sign of the cache[?] Ooops Mrs Felix had a look around and said oh it's over here! Razz yep found on the ground. Signed the log then Mr Felix placed it at a possible height.

Could do with checking by the CO.

TFTC Cache Kid ?

Have had this cache on my to do list for a few weeks now having to visit Woodend over several weekends. Finally had some time this day to have a go. On arrival we thought where we ought to look but the cords sent us elsewhere. This had us scratching our heads and in the dirt for awhile and pondering what the hint actually meant. After awhile cachers instinct took over and we decided to give our original line of attack another crack. Turns our we were really close the first time. Great spot and great hide. Thanks Cache Kid

24-Feb-15
Certainly a couple of big trees here! I looked for which way to go but in the end just had to have a shot. My first try revealed the cache but I had to go back down and up another way to access it.

Retro-logging this one, sorry it's taken me so long! Found with Swampgum. The shorter of us (me!) found it lying on the ground, and the taller of us replaced it in a likely spot. TFTC!

22-Jan-15
Cache lying on ground. Tucked it back up in a hollow, maybe the right one.

22-Jan-15
Fund the spot, spotted the cache then for the next bit ..with cheering from the sidelines we soon had cache in hand and log signed with the help from geokids to help us down!!!! (not) we made it and headed off for some more adventures.

17-Jan-15
Found it easy 12 yr old sister loved the tree and thinks the tree needs a tree house !! Thanks for the hide !

16-Jan-15
No luck today. Came unprepared in shorts and a t-shirt, climbed up a few metres but couldn't spot the cache.

11-Jan-15
Easy climb, ist find for the year.

22-Dec-14
Cache had been knocked out of the tree and was lying on the ground. Fun climbing the tree to replace it though. TFTC. Smile

22-Dec-14
Came back again after this cache has been rehid. Found the cache lying on the ground. So hid the cache again. Tfrc.

19-Oct-14
Nice view if your a bird, looking forward to the geokid growing a little more so that she can collect these sorts of caches. TFTC

03-May-14
Think this one needs to checked as quite a number of people have logged a do not find. Enjoyed the tree climbing.

25-Jan-14
Came to Woodend to find a few caches, but this one defeated us. There was some climbing done, but no cache revealed itself in the process. So a sad face for this one, the only DNF for our day out. The trees are certainly tall here.

08-Dec-13
Looked on each side, found where it looked like something had been sitting and had worn a mark, but no cache there.

18-Nov-13
Had a search but couldn't find the cache today
Azz went pretty high up the tree but couldn't find the cache.

04-Nov-13
Found by Team Ladava while disabling our nearby TB Motel due to a proposed fuel reduction burn.
Yes, I fell for the old three card trick on this one and automatically climbed the wrong side of the tree due to the proximity of those windows.
It wasn’t until I read a helpful log that the penny dropped and the prize was soon in hand.
I suspect the owner may even live in the nearby home. They certainly must be aware of the hide.

Our thanks to Cache Kid for the cache and bringing us to this location.
Cheers

We're staying in a gorgeous circa 1850's cottage in Hesket for the weekend for our 21st anniversary and after spending the morning at the lovely Hanging Rock then home for lunch, we then headed off to Woodend for some craft shopping then caching. This was the 3rd last cache for the arvo & after reading back a log or too, it confirmed what we thought and although GMelb approached from the fence side he was still able to reach the cache

Got to GZ ok and after a look around I then checked the clue and did what was needed to sign the log.
Nice easy one to scale, thanks Cache Kid

12-Sep-13
I was a bit concerned about doing this one - not sure a middle aged woman on her own up a tree in the rain is a good idea but, well, I'm here now. I was watched by 2 very quiet dogs over the road - I reckon they know what is going on. TFTC

27-Aug-13
Found with Mum & Dad.
Dad climbed up the back, didn't find it then tried from the road side and did!
Nice hide Cache Kid!

27-Aug-13
We parked right next to GZ and took a couple of goes to climb to the right spot.
The container had a little water in it but the log was still OK.
We drained the water out while we signed the log and then placed it back dry for the next finder.
Thanks for placing a cache out here so we saw a little more of Woodend.

24-Aug-13
The Moose climbed one side, and after no success, I climbed the other and found the cache. Thanks for bringing us out here, we had a good stickybeak up the road, we love a drive in the country.

27-Jul-13
Off to Woodend for the day Erin-Rose and myself were dropping off bedding to Pet Haven animal shelter on behalf of the Rotaract Club of Diamond Valley.

My feet were wet and frozen from previous walks to other caches. so I kicked off my wet shoes in hoping they would warm up. We pulled up to the cache... and Me being a farm girl jumped out too.. In bare feet.. being pine needles it probably wasn't the smartest idea.. but I continues my short climb up the tree anyway.

TFTC.

Passing through and had to grab a cache, but not this one.
Climbed the obelisk, I'm sure I found the clue but the stash appeared to be gone. I might have been at the wrong station on the obelisk but I don't think so, maybe the CO can check if passing this way.
Nice cache, will be better when I find it.

This cache was found during a Monday night cache run with Blacklegend, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts (TDC) as well as Poynts95 who came down with BL. for the nights run. Plenty of kilometres travelled during the run, with us starting early afternoon around Rebels home turf and finishing in the wee hours of the morning in Heathcote. A great variety of caches found with some really nice hides. Many thanks to the cache owners for placing the caches we found.

21-May-13
Found on a caching run with the TDC..... I was lucky enough to be able to cache with my local caching mate, Blacklegend, and the rest of The Demolition Crew on this occasion. I had a great night, lots of good conversation and great to again catch up with the TDC. My thanks to all the cache owners for their hides on the night. I don't think I can say a lot more than the others already have about the finds on the night. There were some fantastic hides amongst the caches, and some fav points will be given.

21-May-13
Found out and about on another TDC caching night. A fantastic run that took us far and wide, with the usual crew and with Poynts95 as well. Good conversation and laughs as always, and great to be out and about again finding....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Found ourselves having to climb to reach this one, which threw us as the terrain was only 2. Anyway, not a big climb and all was well. TFTC.

21-May-13
Found on a TDC run, lots of laughs and good times had while out finding caches. Seems like we are encountering more and more tree climbs, not sure if I am getting any better at them. Thanks Cache Kid ? for the cache.

21-May-13
I like a little climb! Thanks

Every week I look forward to exploring new areas with The Demolition Crew, and this Monday nights run brought us from Eric's place in Kilsyth through to Gisborne, Macedon and finally Heathcote. A long night of caching these areas, with a few nice walks and a few drivebys as well. Many thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing and maintaining their caches. Unfortunately we were only able to replace one of the two scheduled cache replacements as we ran out of time.

Doc and Mrs's 33rd wedding anniversary and we decided on a day out caching. First find for the day. Mrs still nursing an injured hip so it was up to Doc to retrieve it. But Mrs claims victory as she was the one who spotted the cache. Left a smiley but silly Mrs forgot to note what we took - sorry. Didn't actually do any view admiring as we live close by.TFTC

Our first one! Nice spot.
