I'm sorry to say that all I found was yet another unpleasant stash left by a lazy dog owner.
The light shone at alternative than the coordinates suggest. And alas its a little worse for wear. Replaced log with spare we were carrying. Tftc
It might be a short cut but it took quite a while to find this one. First my batteries ran out but that shouldn't matter as we were almost at GZ. Hmmm no hint item to be seen. On the way back from the car with new batteries I saw another hint item so now we knew what we were looking for. Managed to spy it through the undergrowth and bashed our way in to sign the log. Things have obviously grown a bit since this one was placed. TFTC # 15,303
I found a cache not signed since October 2018 sitting plain as day in the light fitting about 30m from gz. It's now around the back but I have no idea where the other one is that more recent finders have signed! Tftc.

Coordinates were a wee bit off, took us about 5 minutes to find, great hiding spot though

This one remained elusive so we arranged a replacement. Cheers
Its Thursday - day two - Rangiora - Lyttleton today. K2R cycle is in the bag. So lets go exploring in Toby and see where the Geotrail takes us today.
Its Waitangi Day - day one of a five day weekend exploring the amazing Canterbury, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack and Jill. Two days Rangiora, a day in Lyttleton and 2 days in Banks Peninsula. I got call from The Seagnoid, hes taking a long weekend. Lets go to the West Coast! Lets Go!! but maybe not the West Coast - rain on the way. So lets go to Canterbury. We leave for Christchurch Tuesday evening after picking up The Seagnoid after work. We make camp for the night at Amberly. Today its off to Rangiora for a cycle trip.

Confirmed missing. Not surprised about that - the CO picked the most muggle prone of these object to hide it in. But we put a replacement in anyway. Hope it survives!
Down to Christchurch with Taybeedragon, Zara and Toby for a five day weekend starting Waitangi Day (which this year fell on a Wednesday. I reckon half the country would have been taking 5 day weekends!). Three days in Rangiora. We did two cycle trails there - having two vehicles makes it so easy. One of those cycle trails was fifty caches. Fifty caches in one day on a bicycle! Then a couple of days exploring the back roads around Akaroa. Darn close to two hundred caches in all. Dropped off a lot of path tags along the way, especially if the cache was nice and dry.

After completing the name series it was time to tidy up the trays I. The area .quick and easy one as part of a five cache loop tftc
Found light but nothing magnetic, only Dorty empty bottles. Oh well, will try again...
A beautifully sunny Good Friday, after ambling around N Canty I have ended up in Rangiora.
This cache has been badly affected by someone placing a swap in a film container, meaning the lid wouldn’t close .
The log itself resembled a damp wad of cotton wool & is not redeemable.
I have put a new sheet of paper on a new plastic bag & emptied everything else apart from the loose magnet.

Quick and easy to find but as others have said, magnet has come off so is on the ground and log is very damp. Photo proof rather than trying to sign soggy log.
Out with a 7 and a 5 yr old, both grandchildren, who insisted that we go out and find caches. So we did. This may need some owner intervention as the magnet is now inside the container. Still sticks though. Thanks.
Wasn't sure I'd find a light. Ahh, yup there she is.
Quick find where all good at GZ. Thanks for another smilie.
Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!
Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/)
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

Beautiful Canterbury day. Filling in time before visiting relatives so what better thing is there to do. TFTC bryn00213.
On a leisurely Saturday (before the storm of winter sports starts) taking a stroll to five stags for some bacon & cheese wedges! TFtc!
Today Injeanious and I started early and left home at 7am aiming to complete our biggest geocaching day ever. We started in Templeton before heading to Thompson Track and Rangiora. Altogether we found 126 caches in 14 hours. We had maybe 3 DNFs all day so felt very successful, although very tired.
Thanks to all the cache owners for helping us with our great day!
Sorry for the cut and paste logs but there were too many caches to log individually.
We signed our logs as JeJe to save time and space.

Jess.daphne and I decided to beat our personal best caching day of 51 finds and try to get 120. We did better than that coming home with 127 finds! We started our mission at 7 am heading to Thompson's Track, then we went up to Rangiora before getting home just before 9 pm. An epic day. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches. We signed our logs as JeJe (and JeJeBu when The Burnsey joined us). Sorry for the cut and paste logs.
We were feeling so tired that we drove as close as possible to the cache. A quick find and grab without any neighbours watching. Tftc!

Easy find, thanks. Despite visiting this area often, we didn't realise this short cut was even here!
Aha had to find the light as per the hint, these shrubs are quite big now but a quick fossick and the cache was in hand TFTC
A quick find after wandering through the little reserve. Had to be a bit stealthy as there was a house overlooking but cache was soon in hand. Found with Busy Paws whilst out on a day trip in Rangiora hoping to get the caching number up a bit.

Found on holiday. Nice driving around Rangiora. Nice hide. Left a small diamond. Thanks
Last full day of caching before the plane trip home. Really enjoyed my tour of Rangiora today..Thank you %owner for placing and maintaining this cache.
In town for a “Mega” weekend of caching. I joined up with Yeetrees and gonefishing to form Team YGB. I really enjoyed exploring the country roads of Canterbury. We travelled a fair few Kilometres in the 4 days we were here, and had a great time, with a lot of laughs along the way. Good weather, and good company. It doesn’t get much better than that does it.
Monday. Day Four, Area 4. Today we ventured north up towards Amberley. A change of scene from the long straight roads on the plains that we had experienced in the previous days. We then headed back to Pegasus and Rangiora to round out the day with a bit of urban caching.
Thanks to all the CO’s for all the caches we found.
Cheers and TFTC

Found during the Mega weekend on bit of a tiki-tour around the Canterbury back blocks. Great weather, great caches, great fun! Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out and maintaining caches for us to find. All in all, a fun road trip with Boxhill and Yeetrees, we signed many of the logsheets as YGB to save both time and logsheet spaces.

This cache was one of 350 found on a short trip back to New Zealand, which was principally organised so that I could attend my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday.
I have a great time and enjoyed a great variety of caches, most of which were new (ie published in the past couple of years ).
Thanks for all the great caches.

I had some spare time between work commitments so decided to head off and find a few caches. No problems finding this one. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with BBJ25 on a wee raid this morning. The cachlets found this one pretty swiftly. TFTC
