Logs
Took a while due to muggle activity but soon filled the log and moved on. Tftc.
A quick grab on this one while in the area this morning. TB listed was not inside. TFTC
Sorry but we are in the UK, please could anyone confirm if the travel bug Amore the Teddy bear is still here or lost I have been in touch with the people that dropped it off and the ones that found the cache after but no reply, if you can read the story of the tag it is very special to people back home here in the UK.
Any information would be appreciated.

Went to grab the new cache just over the bridge and checked on this on the way as I've been here a while ago. It's in the correct place but I applied more camo as it was very easy to see the container. I added a log book in a bag and wrote the clue in it as it was missing. Also added a pen and a few toys. We took the TB to move on.
When we approached GZ there was a council lawn mower mowing the verges. As he drove down the hill we parked next to GZ and Mrs C grabbed the cache which was out in the open. We were about to sign when the lawn mower (tractor type) came back up the hill headed right for us. We jumped in the car and took off, with the cache.
We had opened the container just before that and it was waterlogged. Yuk. We parked some distance down the road and started some much needed maintenance on this poor neglected cache.
The reason for the water in the container was due to the straws all breaking up and getting caught in the seal along with adhesive debris.
We cleaned and dried it as best we could and removed the accumulated junk. The log book was damp and pages were stuck together. We put a new stash note in and added a TB and a Maccas Shrek toy..
Didn't see any clue for the multi. We drove back to GZ and the mower was gone. We placed the cache near where our coords suggested and added some cover. TFTC Darth Trader

DO NOT COME HERE. NOT WORTH IT. APPROACHED BY FOUR DIFFERENT LOCALS TWO THREATENED TO PHYSICAL BASH US. We were well dressed, polite, typical geocachers. They said they have had a lot of break ins recently. This is dangerous as locals are looking for anyone loitering. The geocache was on the ground amongst the litter and full of water. Placed it under nearby tree. MAINTAIN IT PEOPLE! And everything was so soaked that there was no way to find clue for the three little pigs cache. Very disappointed. And quite frightened after the horrible display from locals.
found the first one, now to track down the rest. Thanks for the cache darth trader.
Trekked up the M1 today with Mumma-Kel to do a spot of caching around Maitland, an area that is virgin territory for us both. This one should have been a quick park & grab but as sometimes happens, cache blindness befell us and we wandered around in circles for a few minutes before catching sight of the cache in a place we had both passed by several times ... oh well, c'est la vie!
Thanks for the cache darth trader, and for the smiley.

Looking at the final for this when the COTY nominees were announced, I didn't think I would have much chance of making a find on it.. Not least because I wasn't entirely sure I would be able to find the 3 others required.... But then in my travels with Opa-Shrek today I noted this one pop up on the map, and thought, at least if the final had to wait for now, I could make this find now - and so we did.... It was fun trying to follow google maps here, given they haven't quite kept up with the growth in the area, so after finding a dead end first, we rounded our way along to the right spot, and were able to make a quick find.... Well, opa-Shrek did - I was busy doing an not-so-smart-phone dance and he just plucked the container from below me . Thanks for the cache DarthTrader .... Crucial detail noted, I look forward to making the other finds down the track....
We really liked the little pigs house of straws, but it is looking a little delapidated. Opened the cache to find no log book at all and no sign of the trackable listed. Replaced the missing log book with an emergency one and also left a gumnut PT. SL at 6.11pm #3185 collected the clue, although think the rest of the series will have to wait until our next visit to this area. TFTC and the fun earth trader
We were looking in the wrong spot for a while until I opened the map back up lol. It was our first find and kids swapped a toy.
Not knowing the area, we wandered the roads a bit before finding the right streets. The good coords and massive pile of camo made our task easy. Thanks for a great hide, now we have 3 left to find.
To keep this little pig company we have dropped of Amore the teddy bear, may his journey continue

Found the house of straw today, hopefully we get time to find some more of this series before we have to leave Maitland.
Thanks darth trader for the cache.
Lucky there was no sign of The Big Bad Wolf tonight.

Spotted quickly. There is a hollow lollipop in the cache that has been eaten from the inside by ants.
I was hoping to square away this series of caches while in town, but the rain buggered up the day and left me with only enough time to grab this one and a couple around here...
The cache location was spotted on arrival at GZ so business was done and dusted in a minutes or so. With the cache back in place, I headed off.
cheers darth trader.

We had a couple of days in Maitland, so was able to fit in a couple of hours caching.
A story we had heard many times before, maybe next visit we will get to the next little pig.
Thanks darth trader

Found at 5:24 PM GAFF1 in the company of Latanzi. As we approached GZ we feared that the cache was going to be on the other side of the fence. However thankfully it wasn't [^]
Latanzi was wearing his "work clothes" which attracted some attention from a nearby neighbour!
Thanks darth trader.

A quick find in the company of Pprass, after signing log and grabbing Momma Bear's TB, we headed
back to the car. Suddenly a voice yells out "Are yas from the Council?" a quick "Nah mate just
Surveyors looking for a mark" soon had an intrigued muggle heading back to his home.
Thanks for the hunt Darth Trader

Nice play on words with the house of 'straws'. Dropped off Momma Bear's TB & took riserroo TB.
After a few days of non caching I got the ole Geo itch again. Early morning start threw the trusty Mountain Bike in the back of the Geo truck and headed North. With a aim to complete the Toolbox Series and others of opportunity further North. Well here we are the start of a new day. Great cache, TFTC
Nice hide and creative too. Looking forward to completing the series! SL TFTC! Also dropped off a TB.
Found at 7:11:00 PM, during a drive around the Maitland area.
Thanks darth trader

This was a nice quick find once I rid myself of my preconceived idea of where it would be and believed the GPS Gave a wry chuckle at the container.
2 piggies down, 1 to go before we can take down the Big Bad Wolf!

Beauitful day today, again go out for geocaching to Maitland caches area... Easy to find as hide very well thanks
1650 GAFF1 Good coordinates again, and this time I was able to leave a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.
Cache dry and intact, tho I believe a straw was caught in the lid seal.
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, B 2 B ingot, I Bashed at MidWest 2007, Iconic Bridges, Just Monkeying Around Oz, Little Moo, PAP, Slugging Around the World!, Trackabulldog, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, and trackable shirt.
TFTC Darth Trader, will check the 'stats' after this weekend, and probably change this entry to a Found, but will see how I go at finding caches of other D/T ratings, as I've had a few DNF runs in Newcastle recently, and I have a PILE of D1½/T1½ caches still to find on the Mid North Coast in the process of keeping the 'Streak' going and clearing out those caching zones.

Reperio at 0825.
This was the second little piggy visited this morning, and after parking right next to the cache, I had to wait a few minutes surprisingly for a muggle or two to go by. Grabbed the all vital clue to the final...but alas...that will have to wait another day.
