Back on the road again after some time in Jarradale. A wet morning... you can almost see the grass growing and the bush is looking great.Wasn't expecting to come across Ned Kelly in WA but such is life.. ?? TFTC Keego_and_Chil.
Nice easy find, outer container was full of water so I turned it up the other way which should stop it filling with water. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the quick easy find was easy with the kids for their first cache they loved it!

Heading down to Albany for a few days and of course taking the opportunity to pick up a few caches on the way This was one that I stopped off at. I was attracted by the high fave points when I saw this one on the map, however I guess that must have been in a previous life - at least the cache was a very fast find. No problems here today - TFTC
Found. Being from Victoria, even though this was on the wrong side of the road, we had to stop to log "our Ned". TFTC
Early start to meet up with a crew to hit the LGA series. Im with Pilot Jen, Pilot Mal and Lachy1.77 hitting the caches along the way. Many thanks to the COs who kept us busy and entertained us on the way down.
Apologies for the generic logs

Down for the weekend in Quindanning to knock off the Boddington LGA series with a number of Perth cachers. This was one of my stops for the weekend. Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers Keego_and_Chil!
Out caching our way down to the Quindanning Hotel to do the massive LGA series in Boddington. With Geotrakka, PilotMal & Lachlan 1.77

Wahoo we found Ned Kelly. On our way home from an overnight caching trip to Katanning we stopped to apprehend Ned. After a short search we found him and soon had our names added to the log. We returned your cache back to where we found it. It’s always good to do a welfare check on one that hasn’t been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing well. TFTC Keego and Chil.
A quick caching trip to Katanning with axell33,lovely overnight stay, then heading home today!
It didn’t take us long to find Australia’s most wanted/know bush ranger today! I remember visiting the Old Melbourne Goal as a youngster, and it frightened the daylights out of me!! Thanks for the hide Keego and Chil.

Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south. 20 December 2021 12:38 pm Tyfc Keego_and_Chil total caches now 3473
Heading of to the ancestral town for an overnight stay; easy find but the cache has disintegrated, I was able to find a protective container nearby but it is a temporary solution TFTC
Had high hopes for this cache with the fav points, nice and easy find on a less busy day
Pity the container is a brittle broken plastic tube.

on way home from Boddington and decided to grab e few of the bushranger series. tftc keego and chill
I’ve been trying to capture Ned for a while but always end up with cars and trucks to close behind me.
Today, I waited and got behind a truck and I had no one behind me. Woo hoo!

Thank you! Day one of my five day somewhat random road trip. Planned to grab a few Bushranger caches on Albany Highway before doing a bit of the LGA series and then heading for camp. Happy to make the find here.
Out and about caching today from Perth down to Albany. Did many caches along the way and thank you CO for placing the cache at that location. Found cache and signed log, then placed cache back where found. TFTC
Our WA road trip begins today with an early start from Perth and making our way south to Albany. Our aim was to find at least one cache from each LGA we passed through - and we were able achieve this with just one DNA - we thought a swarm of bees around GZ wasn't worth a smilie!! Thank you to all the COs that placed and maintain caches along this highway - it certainly enhanced our trip!
Driving back all the way to Perth on the Albany Hwy could have been boring, very boring. Luckily, there were loads of caches to find.
We were ambushed several times by bushrangers, yet all they wanted from us was to listen to their stories before they let us go again. Interesting stories of lives and destinies in violent times.
We hadn't known any of these men - apart from Ned Kelly, of course.
A great series, would have loved to find them all. However, quite often we missed the opportunity to stop, some we didn't find, so in the end we didn't find that many, but we definitely had fun.

Came back today to complete a bit more of the Bush Ranger series and a few others along the way. I replaced the missing caches as I went to keep this series alive, I hope the CO doesn't mind. The weather gods were on my side and not a drop of rain, once I started caching. TFTH
I'm on holiday in Australia together with KirstinNL. Today driving from Perth to Denmark. A long drive, so I have to stop every now and then. What a coincidence if there is a cache just there!
Around 12:10 we found the cache.
Keego_and_Chil, thank you for creating, placing and maintaining this cache!

Making a road trip to Albany to pick up our new puppy, decided to tick off some LGA's on the way.
Had a laugh when I saw the container here. Have a favourite point for that.
Squeezed in a TB.

Day Fourteen of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I went out east to check out some Bushrangers, the Chandler and The Dam Road series, and a few on the way home.
A lovely sunny day, not too hot, not too cold, just perfect for caching.
It would be hard to live in this country and not have heard of Ned Kelly, even tricker when BB lives in Beechworth.
A very cute cache, brought a smile to the dial when we saw it.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12784. Day 14 of our WA holiday and our 9th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to drive back through Jarrahdale today and visit some of the Bushranger Series, the Chandler Series, the Dam Road Series and a few others along the way. Managed to find 46 today with a few DNF's thrown in.
Well what can I say here? Ned rampaged around the North East of Victoria far and wide and was held in a cell in my hometown (Beechworth) before being sent to Melbourne to be hanged. A very simple and appopriate hide here. I like it. Favourite point.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil

Heading south from Rockingham we found some caches, no rhyme or reason to the ones we found ! we missed a few as they may just have been burnt thanx to the cache placers for your efforts
As we road trip our way to Rockingham from Sydney via Perth and Albany for WA Goes Big next weekend, we stopped at a few of the bushranger caches on our way south today. We chose those we had a connection to, of whatever kind - and who doesn't have a connection with Ned Kelly? I spotted this one on approach pretty much as soon as we were out of the car - awesome effort, loved it - and awarding a favourite point. Thanks for the series, really enjoying it, had no idea just how many bushrangers we had!
Found this cache on our way down Albany highway. We attempted to find caches while we felt it was save enough to stop (i.e the right side of the road). The kids had fun jumping of the car, run into the bush and take turns using the GPS and signing the logs. Thanks for the caches along the road.
This one was a nice surprise to find (or was it:-)) worthy of a favorite point.

Joined The Chatterboxes for part of the Bushranger series. Gorgeous bush setting.
Driving to Albany today we had time to stop for some geocaches along the way! Thankfully the weather held off for us and we were able to get a few finds! Thanks for the cache! This one gets a fav point from us we loved the cache design!
TFTH headed down to Albany for a quick weekend trip. Needed to do some maintenance on some down that way and made the most of it by finding a few along the way.
On the trip home the main aim of the game was to find the My Home series of caches. All these were found in good condition and made for some fun caching through the. Country side. A. Good range of camo containers and sizes.
Ended up with 20 finds and 9 caches checked on. Just short of 1000km on the Geocar with the weather perfect on both days.
Thanks for bringing me back down this way and as usual I'm sure it won't be long until I return again.

On a mission to try and find 300 caches for the month so a nice drive to Williams via Albany Highway picking up a gang of Bush Rangers and a few others was the order of the day. A great day with 58 finds, 2 dnf's and one drive by as it was too tricky to pull off the road. A big thanks to the CO's involved and sorry for the mostly generic logs.
Loved the uniqueness of this one - deserving of a fave
TFTC this is find # 1874 for us

Hi there Keego_and_Chil.
We found your cache **"Ned Kelly - Australian Bushranger"** at 1:12:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15620).
We started the day off from Williams, our intention was to head north along the highway to reach "Civilisation" before turning back. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and learned a lot about early Australian criminal heroes along the way.
We found a wide variety of container types amongst our 37 caches (& 2 DNF's) today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape, but **the listed trackable "räng.....däng........däng" is not in the cache, could Keego_and_Chil (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory.** (This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Actually have a connection with Ned Kelly, Grandfather owned and lived at the old Beveridge hotel.
Went there a few times as a kid.
Added a 1959 Australian Penny to the goodies

left Trackable in cache, could not get the code to come up and it is not the same as the one listed as being here?
Maybe a mistake by whoever picked up the last one?

Found Ned Kelly - Australian Bushranger. The 4th favourite point goes to this cache because of the unique cache design and every geocacher should see it! Took Cache In Trash Out Tag TB to move it on; LN SL TFTH Keego_and_Chil.

Heading south for the long weekend, quick stop off to grab this clever hide. Took some time to explain Ned jellies ledgers to the geo kids and we were on our way

Out today with xPertCach3r caching our way to Williams and back. The plan was to finish off the Bushrangers and grab anything else close to the highway.
We had a great day with 54 finds and 1 DNF. Most caches were found quite quickly, and the weather was perfect.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches.

Found on a road trip from Canada to Albany via Perth and Kalamunda.
