Streak Day #4014 - Out on a geocaching jaunt with Dave8153 and ws_cachers. Most were a quick find. TFTC
I seem to recall trying to find this one a couple of years ago in the dark with a failure. Surely daylight would help. Crazily it still took me way too long, but finally had cache in hand. TFTC
Staying at the caravan park down the road (beautiful spot) headed out for some exploring. Such a nice area up here! Thanks heaps for the cache!

A GR8 adventure with seven other GR8 geo-mates, during our King’s Birthday Long Weekend Geocaching Retreat, as we drive the Mid North Coast Wander. Such beautiful country up here. What an effort to keep this series going for us to enjoy. Thank you to all involved.

Great day out working with the team from Sydney (signed as GR8) working on this series. It’s been a long time coming to find these caches and I appreciate the effort of placers and CO for keeping these caches going. Found the Thing, as the property owner called it.
Logged as GR8 for the Geocaching Retreat 8 cachers.

No rustling in the bushes today. A much easier find today. Thanks for checking. Tftc. That's our last of this MNCW. But we only have 13/20 letters..... tftc.
Easy find once in the correct "yard" lolLogged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
As we were passing by on our way to North Brother for a very special reason - we stopped here to check on the cache and found it straight away sitting there exactly where it was originally placed 10 years ago!
Nope. Parked down the road a bit, and walked to it. As i walked around the tree, something moved in the plant. I backed out, and tried to look for other entrances, or to see what it was that moved, but whatever it was, i could not see. I tried three times, and every time there was movement. I pulled the pin and left it for another day.
Found with casscoop wasn’t able to open cache due to rust but she sent the photo through to co
Cache still there although it is a bit tricky now to get to it. Hint expanded to help
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. This one looked more difficult than it was. Such an excellent container.
Dayboro trip. Day 4. Another bright sunny day around Port Macquarie. I headed a bit south to Laurieton for an AL. This region was also affected by flooding, so some caches were not accessible. The final lab in the AL set was in a closed park. Then it was back to Port Macquarie for lunch and the caches around the service center. To finish the day a I did a themed series of caches just North on Blackman's Point road. Lots of fun.
Wow, lots of cover, which side of what ? I soon found a beaten track and a cache well hidden under the foliage. This one was nice and dry.
Thanks.

A caching trek with Ms Atalanta today to work off the excesses of last night. We are staying at Harrington, but I once was a pupil at Laurieton public school (for about a month!) so its a bit of a nostalgia trip, visiting that town. Despite it size, this one took some finding, and when found, was covered in insects.

Caching today with No_Tomorrow, Tatt2squared & Key_Tat.... Attacking some of the MNCW today, it's great to finally get this one... had a great time finding all these... TFTC
Today I was invited to join Tatt2squared, Key_tat and Viper_101 with a spot of geocaching. What started out as a plan to find 16 geocaches, ended up a 37 for myself, which included my 1000th find.
This time I got to help the Tatts find a cache they had struggled with. And I finally found a GCookie pen in it!

Found. An ammo box, easy I thought. Not so. I was almost ready to give it away when a kind muggle pulled up and pointed me in the right direction. It still took some finding. TFTC
Couldn’t find in the dark but didn’t want to spend too long as chasing 150 in a day and hot shower
It was dark, were chasing 150 for a day and wanting a nice hot shower so we didn’t look for too long.
Found with Gazkersh and littlemisslonglegs. TFTC! Wow! What a great Geocache hide and fun find!
After finding some local caches in and around Laurieton we made our way home via the coast road to find more of the MNC Wander series. Signed log as Team BADJ to save space.
Oh My!! This cache was one of those experiences that you wish you didn't have to struggle with again. It's a case of you see it straight away or you fumble away for way too long. That was us today. Looking here, looking there, looking right at GZ and missing it, looking over there, looking this way. Heads up for a breather and start again - this time hitting the jackpot. Phew! Glad we finally found it.
Signed the logs Team BADJ to save room and that stands for Bobbiesgirl, Aussie Liahona, DiamonJs and JooJoo57.
Cheers and happy caching!

I am enjoying these coastal MNCW, they are taking us to some nice views some ok places but it is good. TFTC
Down in the area to have a try at the MNC Wander Series. Signed the log as Team BADJ. Thank you for putting out this trail - it certainly showed us many aspects of the mid North Coast area. Apologies for the generic logs.
Found while travelling on a weekend getaway TFTC
Well hidden after the autumnal fall and a helpful muggle

Checked on this cache after a couple of DNF's and found that it was still there (thank goodness) in a fairly easy to get to location. Co-ords were very good as well - 3 metres.
After a little searching, the nicely sized container was found, plastic bag was torn so replaced with new one. Thanks for the cache.
Our first reaction at this cache when we pulled up and looked where the GPSr was pointing was, 'Oh No!' but things picked up from there. It was a good sized cache for where it was placed and made the searching much easier.
Some of the plants were even in flower to greet us.

Another one not attempted as when I drove into the drive I met the lovely lady who owned the property, even though the place was closed she let me stroll through her beautiful grounds, I even met her pet Duck "Jimmy".
Find #906
We spent this weekend Mid North Coast wandering, spending the night camping at the great Diamond Head Campground. We had a great time driving and exploring the areas we were taken to, and managed 58 finds over the weekend, with only a single DNF. Our third trip up here for the MNCW, we'll need another weekend to complete it yet! Thanks to the Mid North Coast Mob for their hard work in keeping this trail great.
Todays plan was to do some more of the wander north of Diamond Head, North Brother Mountain, and then return to Middle Brother to complete some we ran out of time for on Saturday. Getting home with a closed Pacific Highway proved to be as much adventure as the caching.....
Always love finding ammo tins. TBs dropped...

We found 22 caches in the Mid North Coast on our way home from Diamond Head today. TFTC!!
I could not find this, until I read what I was looking for then it was a very easy find.
Did'nt expect that. TFTC, I will use a generic log for this series and go into more detail at the final mystery cache. Attempting this long and looks like amazing series in stages and in no particular order. Should be fun.
Mrs oz loved the hide. tn ln, sl Really would like to thank all who were involved with the planning and execution of this trail. I'm fairly sure at least 4 local caching families were lost never to be seen again whilst doing the initial trial runs. Great job really well executed and maintained
Found by Pat & Cheryl at 1:35 pm. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally. Really enjoyed this cache Mid North Coast Mob and this is #1068 so far for us. Staying at the coopernook hotel where there is great food and refreshments.
Spent several days in the region as part of attending an awesome geocaching camping event with cachers from all around the region. Cheers to the Browngang for their amazing work! We had 3.5 days, 63 caches, met a bunch of new friends, had way too many drinks, and encountered a dozen leeches, a brown snake, and a heap of less squirmy wildlife, and even saw a future EarthCache being created. Not to mention the DNF due to police removing the cache! What an amazing weekend.
This was a random drive-by on the way back from the Moorland forests to the event. A quick find of a very good sized container. TNLN TFTC
