Logs
The pump station has been removed. Looks like the housing estate is expanding to this area and new sewage pipes are being laid.
Cache has been archived and we may look for a new location to replace it.

Dayboro trip. Day 4. Another bright sunny day around Port Macquarie. I headed a bit south to Laurieton for an AL. This region was also affected by flooding, so some caches were not accessible. The final lab in the AL set was in a closed park. Then it was back to Port Macquarie for lunch and the caches around the service center. To finish the day a I did a themed series of caches just North on Blackman's Point road. Lots of fun.
I found this on the ground, but it was ok today.
Thanks.

This one was too quick and easy. It was just sitting in the hook of the padlock. At least it's still there.
We started the “Mid North Coast Wander” series few months ago (47 caches found). This long weekend was the perfect timing to finish it.
This series was a bit challenging because of the 200 caches but it gave us a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owner for this amazing job. You bring us through Coorabakh NP and Lansdowne State Forest and all these lookout and interesting points. Then we crossed the road to drive along the coast and enjoyed all the view points!
We found 147 caches and 6 DNF mostly because of muggler on this busy long wkd. All the coordinates were very accurate and with the hint it was easy to find all of them.
At GZ quick found. We signed the log book and then replaced as found.

Cache was moved by a muggle and is now zip tied to the top of the pump equipment.

Yep - after 7 years it got muggled
Replaced it with a preform tube that hopefully can be secreted away a bit better from muggle prying eyes.

many thanks for one of the CO's to replacing this but will be back next time to make a find
Tftc found on the walk. Down the track to this beautiful beach. Pencil is broken.
Found with Gazkersh and littlemisslonglegs. TFTC! Gorgeous spot! It’s a shame that they’re going to build there soon
We are so enjoying this Mid North Coast Wander. Thank you to all who took part, worked out the locations, gave them names, found the containers, wrote up the cache pages, submitted them for review and got them published. All in all it must have been a huge job but please know it is much appreciated and we are loving the places the Wander is taking us. Signed the logs Team BADJ to save room and that stands for Bobbiesgirl, Aussie Liahona, DiamonJs and JooJoo57.
Cheers and happy caching!

I am enjoying these coastal MNCW, they are taking us to some nice views some ok places but it is good. TFTC
Down in the area to have a try at the MNC Wander Series. Signed the log as Team BADJ. Thank you for putting out this trail - it certainly showed us many aspects of the mid North Coast area. Apologies for the generic logs.
Found with my Dad and Oliver, after we camped at Diamond Head...

Find #1951
This would be our fifth bite from the MNCW cherry. We camped at Diamond Head last night and today did a few more around Laurieton. Thanks to the Mid North Coast Mob for their continued efforts on this great trail.
No problems here, a quick find and we moved on.....

Heading north and detoured through Harrington and up to Laurieton to grab a few more caches on the MNCWT. Some areas had too many people camped while others had muggles too close to try, so those were left for another time. All caches were found easily enough with a few needing a bit of a clean up and a couple I rebagged. Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
A great series and well worth the detour.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Snuck through the roadworks/construction area to get this one! Plenty of sand flies around here!
After searching for a variety of caches out on the point we then backtracked a bit to look for 3 we had bypassed on our way. This was the first of them and again as we approached GZ there wasn't too many options so the search was quick and fruitful.
A good thing as the light is fading rapidly.

Nice quick find although it's not so secluded any more. Love all the ancient grass trees around here. Let's hope they survive the onslaught of the suburbs. TFTC
A quick find in this area. Don't know how much longer this will be accessable with all the road work going on here. The houses are closing in on this area quickly. Lots of workers around here but I sneaked in and out quickly (I hope!!).

What a glorious day for some Caching. A quick find was had at GZ. Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLN SL TFTC
5283. A bit of construction traffic around, but we manage to make this one a drive by and soon spotted what we were after.

Couldn't even get close to this one as the road is closed both ends until the end of January. There were even work trucks making it official.
Some strange cache placements compared to the others in the series.... Easy find.
Enjoying our day caching at Laurieton, what a lovely part of the world it is too. Have never been over this side of town before. My no. 2 in the series
Its so nice when log is signed under one before you instead of going to middle or back of log and taking up whole pages. That's my gripe for the year.
TFTC, I will use a generic log for this series and go into more detail at the final mystery cache. Attempting this long and looks like amazing series in stages and in no particular order. Should be fun.
Thanks for cache, looks really suspect though haha cause you're out behind peoples properties make sure you do this one when you sure you aren't being watched.
omg another snake. This one brown and around the cache thank goodness it moved on quickly. Tftc
tn ln, sl Really would like to thank all who were involved with the planning and execution of this trail. I'm fairly sure at least 4 local caching families were lost never to be seen again whilst doing the initial trial runs. Great job really well executed and maintained
Found by Pat & Cheryl at 2:02 pm. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally. Really enjoyed this cache Mid North Coast Mob and this is #1072 so far for us.
In North Haven, taking the kids for a drive and swim, so will take the opportunity to grab a cache or 2. A quick find by geo junior.
Thanks Mid North Coast Mob for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

17/1/16. 7:28 AM. Cache #3386. Streak day #574.
7th of 15 for the morning - Camden Head & Dunbogan.
We're up at Bonny Hills for the week, and I was up early to get some caching done. I started off looking for WP1 of "Hope's Lost Whisky". No luck there but I won't give that one a DNF log as I'll be back there again. Next plan - thought I'd go for some of the MNCW series while I'm up here. Made my way from #200 to #190 inclusive (mostly in that order except for one of them) and grabbed a few others not from the series as well.
This one - getting back to the right order again after making a mistake and getting #194. Pump / generator was putt-putting away but I had the place to myself. Another easy find. On to #195 next. TFTC.

Found with Moxie1 (new regular members) , Moxie1's FIRST FIND. Left Golf tee and took Plastic figure.
Today we left Harrington and decided to camp in the national park and continue our run to get more of the Mid North Coast wander series caches. It was a successful hunt and they mostly involved trees or stumps in lovely bush settings. TFTC.
AWESOME series. Long time to finally make go there for weekend with mum and stay motel for overtime, then next morning went to visit Riverwalk market for few hours, wow lovely placed...
On the way to Harrington, via stops caches on way road...
sign in as no trouble.
Thanks
