As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

Couldn't find anything. Since the cache was found the last time half a year ago and the owner didn't made anything, I think it should be archived.

School holiday trip to Auckland/Coromandel with the family. After a couple nights at Hot Water beach time for a few days in and around Tauranga. Staying in Matua...Time for an explore. Rotorua for the day- starting with a morning walk, luge or two....some mud & steam and warm feet. Driving through town, quiet enough for a good look. Searched a bit ever widening. No luck. A string of DNFs in Rotorua....
Sadly I have to add to the growing list of DnF's..the CO may like to check and replace
To busy,l with muggles, had a brief look and searched with my hand around all the edges but too many eyes looking at me.
The geowife did some shopping and three of us searched the possible gz but couldn't find anything.
Just flew up from the South Island. Time for some lunch and a geocache. GPSr was all over the map for us, so we first looked over by McLeod's Books. No luck there so we decided to try across the street. Better luck there. Thanks!
I stopped to have a look around Rotorua for a few hours on the way to Taupo. Very smelly
Thank you for the cache!

Visiting New Zealand for three weeks. Having circled most of the South Island in two weeks I sailed across the Cook Strait and zigzagged around the North Island, from Wellington to the west coast and Hamilton, then past Rotorua and Taupo to the east coast and back to Auckland and Northland.

No spots to write on the paper and I had none to place in it. Very high muggle area indeed. My first NZ cache!
Mum was looking for a cache to do on her morning walk while in Rotorua for work... And this cache was nice and close to attempt, and was one that had eluded the team in 2012 when we first started caching (wow - have we been caching that long!?!).
With a lot more caching experience, and a 6am walk; Mum was pretty confident... however, as she approached 2 men were sitting right where she wanted to search - confidence dropped. She walked down to Eat Street (that has changed a bit since last time Mum was in town) and back; fortunately the men had moved on in the meantime.
Mum searched in the area she suspected (and had been searched unsuccessfully in 2012) - found easily, signed and replaced. Log needs attention.
We love caches that have such a special meaning - Fav Point for that!

What a hopping little area! We could have spent the day in this area strolling around and spending $, but we went geocaching instead. tftc!
The cafe was closed, which probably made it easier to find the cache as there was hardly anyone around. Thank-you Mycave for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
Whilst waiting for the laundry to dry at the local laundromat we ducked out and found this cache. Found thanks to the hint in the right spot. Signed log

On our onward journey from the Tongariro National Park to Rotorua, we still looked for some caches. We could find this good. Thank you for laying.

we are up in Rotorua for a reunion and while hubby attends that i am free to go locate a few geo caches. but today is the last day as we travel home tomorrow. this cache was the very first and early so as not to have too many muggles around. Those that were there paid me no attention as i sat and felt..the edge cormers etc . but to no avail! you need to take a seat on the narrower "seats " and try again!
finally came up trumps! Thanks for this cache and another smiley face.

Had a really good hunt in the middle of the night with Kaiari00, but could not find it in any of the corners. Expect that it’s been taken
Managed to get a park right next to it this evening. Fairly quiet so was a nice quick grab. TFTC.
Nicht ganz so leicht zu heben wegen der vielen Muggels - trotzdem geschafft! TFTC
Lots of muggles in the area ah the nearby ATM/ we managed to find it after checking all the wrong corners first. Log a bit wet but we managed to sign. TFTC And hello from Canada.
Having a walk around Rotorua, picking up a few caches along the way. Nice easy find without too many muggles. TFTC
Sure is not easy to be discreet around here. We waited out a few people and made the find quickly. Now time for lunch. Thanks from Canada
Nice idea for a cache. Surprisingly many muggles even at night. Thanks from Germany!
The greatest challenge at this place was the stealth modus.
After a flat white it was mine.
Thank you for leading and preparing.

Very quick find on a rainy day, great fun. Nearby cafe had NO tables had to get coffee somewhere else.
From the Netherlands to NZ. Today from Paihia to Rotorua. And of course a few minuten to found a cache. TFTC.
This one took us two visits as we had to wait for a couple of motorcycle muggles to finish dinner. When we returned we made a quick find thanks to the hint. Thanks for adding to our fun!
Quick easy find. The girls cleaning tables at the cafe were more interested in discussing their love lives then paying attention to us
Visiting from the US. Took a walk after dinner - not many muggles. Found it without much trouble. TFTC.
We left Wanganui early this morning at 7.48am. To head for Rotorua and get some csches along the way. We got into Rotorua thought we have a bit of time so we got a few caches in town great timing shops were closing so less muggles around. We had two muggles sitting outside the cafe just looking our way we waited for them to leave was about 10 minutes then we could finally look for the cache found it signed the log placed it back where we found it. TFTC. We look forward to our time here in Rotorua
Found while having an evening stroll around Rotorua. No muggles, an easy find. Tftc. MattyH from Tassie
Today arrived in Roturua. While walking to a restaurant this evening, of course we took the GPS with us. The bar was closing, so hardly any muggle in sight, so,an easy find.

Lots of muggles around this afternoon but managed to sign and return the log undetected.
So happy to have found a cache a mere few blocks away from our hotel while my wife and I vacation here in New Zealand. Loving Rotorua and the Kiwi spirit. TFTC!
Family walk around Okere falls then into Rotorua for a late lunch. Spotted this was on the way. With family for camouflage, made a quick find. TFTC.
Called in hereafter doing some shopping for an upcoming GirlGuiding NZ event. A nice shady spot in the heat of today. I packed Yeah n the opposite side of the road and spoke to a parking warden. I asked where the parkig meters were as I'm from out of town and he said you have 1 hour free parking but don't worry I finish at 3 so you will be safe lol. Tftc
