Hi novalightning
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, is it not able to be un-archived.
Regards
The Coddiwompler

I'm slowly chipping away at these Hamilton caches and anytime is a good time for another raid - even in the rain! Mc Jandals was the only one crazy enough to join me as I plowed through a fairly specific bunch of trads, multis and solved puzzles. This was my third attempt at this location with hopes maintenance was achieved but unlogged by the CO. No luck though and after 2 years since a successful find it's time to escalate. It's always sad to see a solved puzzle disappear, hopefully it can be sorted.
What an amazing day! Set off to the Waikato with intentions to meet up with NZFlossy and TNXPro but somehow didn't see either of them - instead I managed to alternate my caching partners between Mr & Mrs Tryfyn & KayDeeGee and then Davidson Clan & Squirrel Nutcase for the late shift. I had a great time at both of the Hamilton events and enjoyed catching up with the locals here and from home. Lastly - a big 'thank you' to the CO's that made 2018's International Geocaching Day so awesome.
My second DNF of the day - I understand you're not really caching anymore but maybe one last maintenance run?

DNF today area looks as if it's been recently spruced up as with last post can CO please check?
Hmm. Pretty sure I was in the correct place and searching around the correct cabbage tree, but it looks like the local caretaker has been through and stripped everything away from around these trees. Maybe the log went too.
In Hamilton for a Daffodil show. Had time to find some caches late afternoon after a shower a of rain. Thanks novalightning for the cache.
Simple but effective camouflage. My pen got wet so a rather illegible scrawl from me. TFTC.
Solved at home, and a quick find today. Cheers.
I was granted a leave pass for the afternoon. The rest of the family wanted to go "shopping". Time to find a few little boxes around Cambridge and Hamilton.....
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Solved this puzzle in Christchurch as I knew I'd be in Hamilton over the weekend. Turned out to be well situated for my bro to bring me here from the hospital before returning to his place to catch the airport shuttle. TNLN. There was water in the cache which I drained and log is full. TFTC novalightning
Good to be able to complete the paperwork today while in town (last attempt I had one of my degrees wrong ), *TFTC novalightning, #9110*
Had solved this puzzle some time ago, but hadn't had a chance to collect cache yet. Dropped by when it was quiet and located quickly. Although cache not really large enough for swag, I have left a small car that is made from 2 pieces. Cache in good order, good camo, log nice & dry. Replaced as found. SL. TFTP. TFTC!
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

FIN (laalaa, janahola, temyllyl, kapeka) holiday in New Zealand. We had fun.

Thanks for the mystery.

Thanks for the mystery.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Today our trip continued from Tauranga to Hamilton. Of course with some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!

17th day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards north. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. Fortunately we still had few days left to spend in NZ while driving to Auckland.
Down in Hamilton this morning trying to sign off on some puzzle caches that have been in the solved pile for far too long. No problem solving this puzzle. Parked up near GZ and made the short walk to GZ. Good coordinates and a clear hint made for a super quick find. I didn't see anything hint wise for NCEA level one. Anyway, cheers for the cache placement!
I solved the puzzle last night and headed out to go. Gould the cache with ease but there was no clue to the next cache in the series. I was a little disappointed as I would have like to try this as well today. Tftc.
Solved a wee while ago - not quite walking distance but a good find when out that way. Timing required indeed. Tftc.
How refreshing to discover a nice straight-forward puzzle. All quiet at GZ, and thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
#6610. After our DNF in December 2013, we were keen to return to find this one when visiting Hamilton again, and to seek the clue for NCEA Level 1. GZ was all quiet, and much tidier than when we last came here. Quick find this time. The cache was in excellent condition, although it probably was the small camo container replaced by rosmar in April 2014. Alas, no sign of the clue for NCEA Level 1. It appeared that it may have been muggled along with the original cache some time ago. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
Brrrrr ... it is 3 degrees this morn. It is my birthday and this is my 1000th find. And to top it off, I even managed to solve one of these puzzle thingies. See ... miracles do happen. Cheers novalightning for this placement. Cache all good. Great camo and a neat wee hide.
After I finished my work meetings in the region there was time to go and find a few caches. I solved this puzzle a while ago and was in the area today. Last cache for me today before heading back to my hotel and dinner. No problems with the search here. TFTC, Biggles.
have had this one solved for too long, so did a quick stop and signed it today, tftc
Found this one today with a friend in tow showing her about caching, thanks for the puzzle and the cache placement.
No problem to solve or find but I must of been blind to the clue for NCEA Level 1, I couldn't find anything (?)

Thanks for a solvable puzzle. Found without too much difficulty although there was plenty of rubbish about to confuse things. I haven't worked out how this helps with NCEA level 1 yet.
Easy find this morning after attempting yesterday morning but 2 students were having a study break close to gz. Was tempted to try and move them on as it was 9.30am on a Monday morning after all. Probably the teacher influence of my husband coming out in me!
No time for study when we are caching. Soon sorted where we needed to be then tracked down the cache. No lid on the cache but log still there, replaced with a small camo container TFTC.
I found half of a camo sistema container and signed the small piece of paper which was left by the Davidson Clan. Thanks
Found container with no lid or log sheet have put a signed piece of paper under container at base of an age tree
QUICK FIND WITH THE HELP OF THE HINT (so long since I solved this puzzle I can't even remember how i did.)TFTp & C
Didn't find it at GZ, although we found an empty camo 200 ml sistema, without lid nor logbook about 5 metres away. Ironically, met the CO at the nearby CITO Event afterwards. This might have been a good spot for a CITO too.
Another good puzzle cache find while heading to the Auckland MEGA event.

I stared at this puzzle for ages, then put it aside. A few days before our trip to Hamilton I had another look and BINGO!!! What a clever puzzle!
Happened to be in the area and found a car park nearby. Dashed in and after a quick search found the cache. But alas as others have noted, it contained only a cache log and no clue. Maybe this isn't the original cache container? I really needed the clue as I'm stuck on NCEA level 1!!!

TFTC and puzzle
Can't remember solving this puzzle as it was some time ago. On a trip to Hamilton to find outstanding puzzle caches. Were looking forward to getting a clue for NCEA Level 1. The cache however was missing it's lid and unfortunately did not seem to provide any clue. The Log was still present and dry.
10.05am - Found log sheet on ground and remains of a container (no lid) relocated cache. SLTFTC
Working on puzzles and trads around Melville and Glenview with Z-masterNZ.

Solved this quite quickly and parked relatively close to GZ this morning. Found after a short search and brilliant camouflage! TFTC.
A simple puzzle that we solved while taking a short Break. Walked to GZ this morning and soon spotted the hint item along with plenty that was. Signed the log and off to sit the next NCEA exam. Thanks.
Mr P parked the car whilst I did all the walking, hunting and finding - my what a lot of rubbish in this area. t4tc
Easy solve and very quiet today while locating the cache before the kids go back to school. Thanks very much novalightning.
I parked at the nearby institution of learning, and made my way to GZ. I required the hint item to find the cache... I probably wouldn't have picked that up otherwise!
10146... We only had just enough time to grab a quick Study Break, before heading towards the Christmas Madness Event, Relieved we managed to locate this one, many thanks.
Easy as puzzle - so an enjoyable one. Good final location, could do with a bit of CITO. (oh, that was the cache!)
Viewed the artwork enroute to the cache.

The 16 year old of the team is on study leave at the moment so couldn't make the trip to Hamilton today as he is at home studying. Nice to have another puzzle cache to pick up, thanks.
A quick-solve puzzle. In Hamilton to look at cars. Picked up cache along the way.
Found the 'classy' bit of camo after a brief search. TFTP and TFTC.

A relief to have solved and found this one - a pity that I don't own technology that is portable in which to solve NCEA Level 1, but extremely thankful to have found the clue which I nearly missed. Love the camo!
Rather be doing something else than puzzles on my day off but got it. Pen run out so have only got the date in and not my name
Oops. Solved and found the cache about a month ago but must have forgotten to log online. Nice puzzle that was simpler than it intially looked.
Many thanks
Many thanks

No time for a break as we have just started another hectic morning of caching after only 2 hours sleep...
Quick solve a little while back and we were in the area for a quick find too.
TNLN TFTC!!

We are finally starting to crack a few of these puzzles, although many are still totally incomprehensible. This one came quickly and we had to find it for assistance with NCEA 1, although we have cracked level 2, just need to retrieve. A bit of a wild goose chase; we took the car, never knowing how close to home it was. Having read the other logs we came prepared and filled a black sack, although that wasn't the half of it.
Now, on to study for my NCEA level 1.

A well earned study break after a day in the classroom yesterday. Should have bought a bag for some CITO. Another charming place you have bought me to Novalightning LOL. Now for another NCEA Level....I think I did better at School Cert and Sixth Form Cert!!
Well it might be a level 1 dif puzzle cache but I am, still struggling to see anything to help me with this cache. I attended the last event and a puzzle section but still no help.I have failed miserably with NCEA by the looks
Had driven past a couple of times but far too many muggles to safely have a look. Picked a better time today & a nice quick find. No TB today, dropped one off. Nice puzzle, TFTC
while getting level 2 decided i had to get level 1 and the studybreak as well. tftc
Solved today during my lunch break. Had a look at it a few times, with no real ideas on how to solve. While having a cup of tea, the lightbulb hit. Thought it couldn't be that simple, turn out it was. Easy find at GZ. Now on to those exams!!!
Yeah, managed to locate this one after solving it this morning as didn't see it come in last night.
All that this cache tells me that some of these students who should be on "Study break" should be picking up rubbish instead. At least a few of them could consider it work experience for the future employers,
Thanks for a cache even I could sove

A very quick solve, a double take on the search and it was found, excellent camo

Nice simple puzzle. Was excited as I left home as neither of these had been found. Nice camo. Found relatively quickly but unfortunately had been beaten there. Thanks for the exciting FTF race.
