I was down at Greenbank finding a few caches and decided to look for this one on my way home as I was needing a multi for my calendar today. There was someone sitting at the shelter but I was able to get the required information and did my calculations.I then walked to gz where the cache was found, logbook signed and replaced as found. The paper has been wet in the past but was fine after yesterdays storm. Tftc
Being in the area for sport with not much time away from the rink I don't really have a solid caching plan, but "cache types I don't yet have in Queensland" seems as good as any. Having ticked off a Whereigo yesterday and a CITO this morning, my thoughts turned to Multi Caches - and this was the nearest. A very pleasant park with a shady spot to do my counting and calculating soon had me with some coords a short drive away. This seemed unlikely and as per a previous log I decided the most likely issue was that I had missed a dragonfly. Indeed I had, with one more sneaky one on a separate piece of equipment. Corrected coords in hand and a short stroll later I spotted the clever container and the exposed but dry log inside. TFTC!
I'm in the local area for a few days and came to this lovely little park. This was a nice, straightforward multi to do and a short walk to GZ for a quick find due to the good hint provided.Thank you, gaz'n'kab, for this good hide
Cool cache! I had come here a few days ago and worked my way through the questions but just as I began my search, a bunch of council workers began showing up so I left to try again another day. Today was the day and even though it was dark I found it pretty quick. Tftc!
After an early morning event in the city I headed home and got a half day in and after ticking all the boxes for the day I headed out to and tack a few caches on the south side. After finding a safe place to park the car I quickly made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly found. I recovered the log and made my mark for longevity. Returned and back to the car and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachers.Cheers
Its the last day of school today and therefore my last chance to geocache by myself for a few weeks. But its too hot to hike so I took a drive out to Springfield where there are a few new caches and a few old old DNFs. I saw this cache on the map today and thought it looked familiar. When I arrived at the park I remembered doing the multi earlier in the year. I found the cache again today and there was my name on the log dated 27/4/23. Not sure why I didnt log the find on that day, but will log the find today so as not to mess up my milestones. Log is dry but a bit mouldy and could do with a plastic bag to protect it. Thanks for the fun little multi and clever hide GaznKab!
When you're carting your two-year-old daughter around whilst geocaching, the perfect combination stops are playgrounds x geocaches. Once we arrived, I pointed out the animal sculptures whilst subvertly performing the counts and spotting the artist's name as per the multi-cache questions. My initial calculation showed GZ to be a fair drive away, which didn't feel right, so I read a few past logs with no one noting a separate drive. I soon found my mistake as I didnt see the extra dragonfly, and that changed my next transport option to be then a short stroll.Once at GZ, I quickly spotted the cache with its good urban camouflage. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Gaz'n'Kab](https://coord.info/PR2WHK7) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, baby Cottontail and I visited the Springfield area (Springfield Central and Springfield Lakes). The plan was to walk the Frilled Neck Lizard Circuit (FNLC) that is within the Spring Mountain Conservation Estate before it got too hot, which was a hit with baby Cottontail given the variety of themed animal hides. Our other highlight was Grande Park's playground and RAAF Beaufort Bomber memorial. We then returned home via a strategic bakery lunch stop to then have an afternoon home play. We also visited a few Locations in the [Coffee Capers around Springfield Lakes](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/3497f3de-917a-4df1-acc3-0984823a82fc) Adventure Lab.
Another cache, another day A multi , clues were easy enough to collect & calculate. Thanks for the cache.
After finishing work in the neighbourhood I head to grab this cache. At placement I gather the information to find GZ. The cache was found and then sign.Gaz'n'Kab thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
This took us a little while as it was out first time working with coordinates but we were determined!
Collected the numbers required as we enjoyed our lunch break here. Always nice to see that little bit of added, extra embellishment in our parks. After lunch we strolled over to GZ where I spotted the well-crafted cache nice and quickly. Thanks Gaz'n'Kab
I counted some things and got some numbers. Then it spent too long looking at the obvious thing before I spotted something suspicious. Thanks for the fun Gaz'n'Kab
I have decided to have May as My Mad, Multi May Month to find 31 Multi's in the month of May for a challenge in Melbourne (GC5M69G). Today was a big day out finding lots of Muti's a long way from home and i did not have heaps of time so i was so sad when i reached GZ and there were muggles having a party. I was almost going to drive off when i saw them packing up and in the end i was so glad i stayed because they were so quick packing up i could not believe it. Once the coast was clear i looked around for the information needed and it took me somewhere miles away. I then looked at the Dragonflies again and just changed that number and it looked like a good place. At GZ i looked around a bit and then noticed something. Oh what a great cache. Thanks for all the fun
I was over this way yesterday to grab a first to find but had no luck. On a phone call to Triple Turmoil, it was discussed to go back and grab a few others in the area in the morning and try the FTF again. Triple turmoil is on a mission to grab 100 caches in the month for a challenge, I was happy to go along for the ride, plus grab a few more to my totals.
This was a little bit of morning fun and no one around in this park at this time of the morning. This was a nice puzzle and a very well hidden container. We signed the log, replaced as found and continued on with the morning activities. Thanks for the hide.

Pprime and I had decided on a long overdue morning catch up, and opted for this side of town to try and knock a few caches off our lists.
This was to be the first of the day, and we wondered how we would fare with the weather, between the sweltering heatwave we were supposedly having, or the rain.
Turns out the heat wasn’t really an issue for us today, and the rain, when it occurred, hardly bothered us at all.
We wandered on over to a thankfully vacant park, where we were able to make our way around and gather the required information. Only moments later we had our coordinates worked out and were heading to GZ, where I spied something upon approach that I thought was suspicious. As Pprime looked around the other parts, I gave this bit a slight manoeuvre and quickly had access to the log.
Thanks for the cache Gaz'n'Kab. A good urban camoed container here today.

A rainy, humid and very hot day - but after a week cooped up 1MinnieMoo and I needed to do SOMETHING. The resultant 'plan' (for the sake of a word) had us start the morning here. We counted and colelcted clues - came up with a fresh location and it was making sense - until we got to GZ. Hmmm. Oh, here it is. That's pretty cool actually. FP worthy for the hide and the locaiton and the company.
Thanks gaz'n'kab for entertaining me at this location.

Found it. Clues worked for me to GZ coordinates worked for me. Needs a new log though due to water damage.
My first multi! I usually avoid these as I am a simple player (Just click on geocache icons close by and search). When it comes to inputting coords 27 degrees etc, have never known where to do that. Today I reached out to the geocaching seq community fb page and a lady explained how do to it. So easy! I prepared two as many previous loggers had talked about the number of dragonflies you can see. My brain must work the same as the COs because the number you see is correct. A short walk and success! Nice park. Thank you!
There was a previous post about the number of dragonflies possibly not being correct. But, everything was find with this one. My numbers took me straight to the cache. Maybe the dragonflies flew back.
Quick stop here for a multi cache.
The number of dragonflies might have changed over time? Adjusted my numbers until the final looked probable.
All good at GZ
Thank you for hiding this geocache gaz'n'kab

Out in this area this afternoon, we came for a detour up to this park. This is a lovely multi that has been put together in a beautiful family bush location.
We did some number counting and clearly had something wrong as it was going to take us back down to the main road. Casting our eyes around once again, we noticed something we had missed and soon had some numbers that looked good. A short walk to GZ and a lovely well camouflaged hide.
Thanks Gaz’n’Kab

Happy Australia Day! Out for a spot of geocaching on a hot day. Loved the simplicity of this multi.
Found all the right answers and had GZ nailed. Arriving at GZ I found the container and the cover on the ground and out in the open. Signed log and replaced all back together. TFTC
Found a nice simple multi. All very quiet here today. All good with your cache

In the area today to visit some family on this side of town, I ventured out of the nearby reserve and thought it best to make the find on this cache to make it smiles all round.
Arriving at a cute park which was totally deserted, I was free to find the information I needed and then sat to put the finals together.
Headed to gz, it wasn't too long before I found this super cool cache, love it.
Log signed, all replaced as found, I headed to the last cache for the day.
Thanks Gaz'n'Kab for placing this cache here, I love the camo, a fav from me.

After attending the event for Gunnie69's birthday, we continued caching in the area.
Came to this park and gathered the info needed to solve this.
With coords in GPS we ventured to GZ where we first checked a likely hide but couldn't find anything.
Changed out perspective and spied this hide. Good one!! SL then returned cache as found.
A fav point from us.

The "I'm sooo not into caching" muggle and I were out this way for his pre op appointment and he suddenly decided he wanted to do some caching while we were here. I thought this cache would be ideal so we stopped here on the way to the appointment. We thought we had found all that was required and sat down to crunch some numbers. The resulting coordinates looked good so off we went. After a good hunt in the likely looking spot we were cacheless and scratching our heads. By then I thought it would be best to get Mr Muggle to his appointment and try again later. The surgeon was running even later than most doctors do so we had plenty of time to surmise where we had gone wrong in the two hours we had to wait.
The appointment was finally finished and we adjourned to a nearby cafe for a caffiene hit to kick start our brains and decide what to do next. We stopped at a traditional along the way before coming back here to have another go. We soon realized that we had missed something so an adjustment to the figures was made. One of our plans of attack had been to just jetski the thing and Mr. Muggle went off to his favoured search grid while I plugged in the new coords and had a scan of the area. Not waiting for them to refresh, I went to my favoured search area and quickly made the find.
I called Mr Muggle over who was amazed at the hide. I signed the log and returned it to its hide before going on to get the info for another multi. As we had been delayed so long at the doctors it was getting dark by then so we decided to leave that one for another day.
The cache was dry and well on our visit. TFTC Gaz n Kab

Third find today and after getting the wrong numbers we were back on track with a bit of trial and area. Once at GZ it was a quick find. TFTC gaz'n'kab
Kestal and Mrs E. down from Toowoomba to grab a few caches for challenge qualifiers...quick multi we thought - like Big Shaq we be like...2+2 is 4 minus 1 that's 3 quick maths (oh my, my son would be so proud of me or absolutely mortified! lol). However, quickly realised something was wrong on approach of to our initial GZ. Revisited posted coords and a little tweaking we soon had a better looking GZ. Quickly spotted the container on arrival. TFTC gaz'n'kab.
Geowife had this one sorted quickly including looking at the swings and we had a quick find of an interesting cache container, nice little park thanks gaz'n'kab
Out for a some Xmas Eve urban night caching and this simple multi looked to be the part. The park was obviously empty this evening, so we took a seat and began jotting down our solutions. We were a little thrown by the dragonfly question, but if you take the cache description as verbatim (“At the posted coordinates”), and not to include those further afield, then you will then have the correct final coordinates and it’s an easy find from there! Merry Christmas all, and to all a good night
We were relieved that the park was free of all muggles when we arrived at this location. With the data collected, we calculated the coordinates for GZ and headed off about 250m to GZ. However we didn't find anything at GZ even after an extensive search. We then reread the cache description and some logs and gained the impression that the cache was much closer to the published coordinates than what we had calculated. We adjusted just one piece of data, returned to the park and we were able to make a quick find. The cache container was in a location not consistent with the hint and the container is quite brittle and starting to break. We checked our data collection and confirmed our previous coordinates. We are not sure if the objects used to calculate the coordinates have changed since the cache was published or if there is an error in the formula (unlikely given the many other finds). Thanks gaz'n'kab for the cache in a lovely suburban area.
Haha - solved the puzzle. Somehow we missed the clues last time so spent a long time checking for a mint tin at the table. Oops geocache amateurs. Container is cracked and log is wet unfortunately after the recent rain. Needs maintenance.
Checked on this one and it is still safe and sound and the logbook is now a little more protected
Tried our best with 4 sets of eyes but to no avail. Ran out of light and steam. Will recheck another day.
Recent finders alerted us to the fact the logbook had gone MIA, a new log is now in place.

What a delightful park and the sculpture are very fitting. Some good coords and we were away. Missing the log book but YBB put some paper in there.
What a nice day to go Caching.. put a call out last week that i wanted to go. had JACS team respond.. so we organised a day and swapped the digits.. Organised a meeting spot to start the adventure.. finally getting to the same meeting place... we put our heads together and came up with an action plan. started solving one multi but as shops where still closed made it harder. so we changed our plan and jumped in the car and set off on our adventure to find caches. had a great day out thanks JACS team. You've Been Bear'd
Finally!! Been back and forth to this spot a few days now as there's always been muggles about. Finally snagged it, but unfortunately seems the log book has gone missing quite a clever container though! TFTC.
Needing a multi cache for todays souvenir, this one looked nice and easy and also close to home after working out the new co-ords it was a nice quick and easy find tftc and showing me this beautiful park
Out for the day in the Springfield area with RoddyC, Nadine 1989 & Joojoo57.
Half the group had already done this one but they stopped here for Joojoo57 & I to be able to turn it into a smilie. This is such a pretty park & I love the dragonflies. After some counting & finding of artists names we had the new co-ords & set off.
Cache found, what a very clever container! Log signed & replaced as found.

After finding the information to do the calculation it was a quick find of a container that is not seen too often. Thanks.
Time for a multi a little one unfortunately. The cache was found on the ground because some people put some rubbish in front of the cache but we put it back how it should be and it is a good idea.
It is such a warm Winter's day - so geocaching is on! Out with Nadine1989 in Springfield area. This is one of the caches we found.
A quick Multi seemingly made to order. Gathered the clues OK - I am quite adept a reading upside down! Unfortunately at GZ the inner container was just sitting on the ground. The outer is rather easily knocked - as probably happened when nearby neighbor decided to make the spot a dumping ground for the lawn clippings! All replaced and good to go again.
Found at 12.10pm on 4th July 2016. TFTC.

Most of our caching of late has been from Brisbane north to the Sunshine Coast or west to Esk & surrounds so we decided a trip to more southern parts was called for.
Not too far south but far enough to add a few more sunny smiles to that section of our map.
This was out fourth for the day.
A nice little multi to step things up a bit.
Well executed, a nice little park & the data gathering was most interesting.
I loved the dragonflies & frogs.
The numbers were good & led straight to final GZ.
The find was made even easier as the cache container & cover were lying on the ground IPS (in plain sight).
Made our mark & replaced the container in it's hide then added it's cover.

Out with geopartner to grab some multis for the day.
Arrived at GZ and collected the information and sat to crunch the numbers.
Off I headed for GZ and arrived looking around for quite awhile.
This did not seem right. I must have made a mistake with the calculations.
Geopartner arrived and we looked again at the numbers.
Soon back at the waypoint and had some other numbers and headed off again.
This time I found the cache and the log was signed.

Visiting the relatives across the road. The kids gathered the clues but couldn't make the find. I came out and had a try. I too needed a second look. Then hiding amongst the scraps of mowing and branch off cuts that the locals have dumped. Thanks so much.
Out in the area caching with Selva Girls today. This was a very convenient little multi to complete as we ate our lunch A quick find after we gathered the necessary information. Tftc Gaz'n'Kab
Out for a day of caching with stortigirls. We parked the car and wandered to the picnic table to eat our lunch. Whilst eating, we were able to collect the information required to find GZ. A quick find was made and our names added to the logbook. TFTC
After doing the FNLC trail and after spending about 30 mins at the Mailbox cache, the kids were keen to have a lovely long play on the swings. It was a great location to have a multi as I could gather the answers with the help of the kids whilst they let off more steam on the play equipment. It was a very easy multi and within a minute the kids followed me over to GZ. I have to admit that I felt very uncomfortable at GZ. Luckily it was quickly spotted so I could get out of there before the police were call (I was probably on edge as I had an encounter with the police at Forest Lake on Tuesday LOL. The 2 police I met weren't too friendly and had never heard of caching. It took a lot of convincing that I wasn't doing a drug transaction). The kids went back to the swings. We had lunch here, and met a very friendly and crazy dog, who even jumped in the car to go home with us. Thanks for a fun day at Springfield. We are now heading to our last cache.
Now Gaz 'n' Kab, just before I say how lovely this park is - it is a nice little spot for the geokiddies - I have to say I'm a bit embarrassed (you should be sensing a pattern from my logs by now) about my counting abilities. Especially when it comes to a certain flying insect. I led FastEd and barbb up the garden path (literally). My final coords felt dodgy even before we DROVE to them - I know, my ears are burning, as are my red cheeks, LOL! We headed back to the park and barbb immediately spots where I went wrong. Oh those coordinates look SO much better! We crept over to GZ (there was a muggle watering his garden) and barbb went in for the cache. What a clever hide! Oh so sneaky! TFTC Gaz 'n' Kab and for another multi - I'm really enjoying visiting your part of the world
This was a lovely area that I would not have known was there if I hadn't been geocaching. That is what I love about this hobby. Found with ned_q24 and mkell75. TFTC.
#6 and our first multi.. kids loved the puzzle and i love how good the little hide is...
Not a great introduction to multi-caches for geobikerchick…. I had intended to introduce her to this one as her first, seeing as it seemed to be one of the relatively easier ones. We made it to GZ and unfortunately, as it was a delightful sunny afternoon there were a few kids and parents playing on the playground. We decided to get the coords anyway and see where they were before deciding if we could grab the cache or not. So we made our calculations, and wandered a street or two away. Searching with no luck, I decided to read back through the previous logs. If others have miscalculated on one of the numbers, then it's likely we did as well, and ended up in the wrong spot. We thought about going back to correct our mistake, but if the cache was in the vicinity of the playground, then we weren't going to be able to grab it anyway while those families were there. Hmm, will have to leave it for another day….
Our first multi with co ordinaries

Nice easy find but new house is being built about 3m from the cache new owners will wonder what people are doing
As per the previous few logs, Modelbear went for a bit of walk in search of the cache but eventually found it right where we left from. We had an enjoyable but busy morning and lunch with the cache owners and several fellow cachers. TFTC
After helping out with preparations for something special, we ended up with a BBQ at the nearby park. With the calculations made, some of us headed down the hill for a fruitless search. After a quick call, the error of our ways was soon discovered and on returning to the BBQ calculations were corrected and the search begun again. We were thwarted yet again with the Patron of MCBC having purloined the log which he had taken back to the BBQ table. Eventually the log was signed and returned to its rightful place. Thank you for having placed the cache Gaz'n'Kab.
Out here for a BBQ and someone mentioned there is a cache here, well, not the old one, but a new one, well, new since I had been here last!!
On answering the questions, we made one miscount, I guess we were all to blame for that and the wild goose chase that followed!!
resorting to a PAF in the end.......hmmmm, really? OK, so back we walked
Realising our mistake and new set of coordinates, we found the cache, OK, where's the logbook, back at the bbq and Mr LLJ produces the log book!! that would be right
Thanks Gaz'n'Kab for the ummmmmm, entertainment?

Having arrived here for a BBQ some of the group set about working out the co-ords before everyone else arrived. We answered the questions as a group and set off to find GZ. 5 of us headed down the hill. Once at GZ we commenced our search. With 5 sets of eyes we came up empty so we resorted to a PAF. Uhoh! Something's wrong! Back up the hill and recalculate. Ohhh, it's over there! We traipsed over and after a bit of a search discovered the clever but empty container! The log book was back at the bbq!!! TFTC Gaz'n'Kab.
Oh no. I'm having to write a log from my phone. So excuser me for any auto correct joys.
Came by late in the evening to have a look for this one. Had a little walk about collecting answers and then say down to make the numbers. It all looked likely. So I wandered over there and it didn't look quite right. That's not a place for a cache. .. hmm
A little bit of thinking and then a little look in a better spot and I spotted a very nice little hide.
Thanks for the cache. And for the reminder to register for the mega.

When I got out of the car I realised that I had been here before. I ran out to the shelter in the rain collected the information, back to the warm car to work out GZ only to find that I had the same answer that I had last time. A quick read through some logs and I realised that I must have missed something. Tried a few possible options, one looked promising and out I went into the rain again.
Lucky I was spot on. I love these parks with interesting additions for the kids and us. Thanks Gaz'n'Kab.

cache find #1647 A nice easy multi to locate on the first day of the August challenge. TFTC
Well you nearly had me on this one! One of the disadvantages of caching at night is being able to see what can be so obvious in the daytime! Fortunately my 18 year old daughter has a penchant for swings, and as she headed over saw a little friend that meant we headed to the right spot after all our calculations.
A clever hide for sure, but the hint helped to get it a little quicker.
I think I will need to come back in the day time some time soon to get the full effect of the park.
Thanks for a cute little multi! Our second of four multi's attempted tonight!

Found with bennyboppers. Found the park which is a nice little park. Luckily it was all very quiet here today. Bennyboppers and I did a quick scour around to get the numbers and then we were off to get the cache. I found it fairly quickly and easily once I read the hint. Tftc

My kids and I came to this park last Friday. Got our numbers and went to search. My daughter said "There's another one!". Recounted and searched again. Couldn't find it. The kids had a play while I continued to search. It got dark quickly so we gave up. I checked my numbers with a friend and we came back today. Easier find today. I actually searched near here but not behind. Great chamo!
Thankfully the park ws deserted today so no problems with attracting undue attention. However an error with one of the numbers meant I went for a longer walk than was necessary and ended up somewhere that was obviously wrong. Upon returning to the park I noticed where my mistake lay and the correction was soon made. A bit of a hunt around and the obvious soon revealed its secret. Tftc
A nice little park worth a visit with some interesting sculpture by a brisbane-based artist. Coordinates quickly calculated and we set off for the cache. A quick find and I really like that style of container that blends with the surroundings
All good with cache and log.

I'm sure I've been here before for another cache which was well on its way to archiving. What a great park, and I wouldn't mind the views from living up here either. I started by wandering around, unable to see any dragonflies at all. Oh, there's one... and now, how about you look up... oh, OK.
After calculating things, I went for a little walk but found zip except for the sadly common little plastic bottle and short portion of hose... let's think about those calcs again... would you believe it, I miscounted the frogs!
With a little correction, it was off to a promising area and an instant find. Well done all round, team! Hope to be back in the area soon for more of your excellence.

We were out this way to visit the nearby hardware store and thought this park could allow a nice play for the geokids afterwards. This is certainly a time when geokids are very advantageous! No looking suss as we sat down in the middle of the park playing hordes of children! We did our sums and off went Mrs PJATPAC.... she turned around & said "there's one more of those things, will that matter".... yes indeed it will . Corrected sums done & off to GZ. Mrs PJATPAC spied the hide from afar as it was sort of..broken, well not really, but not really as it should be. She put it back together then so i could find it... she was hoping it may trip me up but I've seen a few of these now.
The geokids had a good play here with the locals while Mr & Mrs had a chill... should have brought the paper .
Thanks Gaz'n'Kab for a kid friendly, easy multi!
As we departed we spotted an old oven on the side of the road. After a recent conversation with another cacher, I knew that the galvanised metal sheets may come in handy for some future cache hiding. So we unscrewed one of the panels and threw it in the car, should the need arise ....
Cheers Gaz'n'Kab

It was quite busy at the park today even though it was cold at nearly 5pm. Kids played while I took geodog for a wander to sign the cache.
Nice little multi that we (me and The Hunting Rabbit) found while caching in the Springfield area. Actually, I went for the beautiful mailbox down the road by the same CO. TFTC Gaz'n'Kab.
