EN : automatic translationunfortunately rainy day which will change our program. Our guide brings us here anyway, so we can see the seals. Indeed, we can admire a whole colony of seals relaxing on the rocks. We will shorten this walk due to bad weather. Damage ! Thank you to all the installers for the work carried out for our greatest pleasure. Greetings from France. Our Travel Bugs pass through this cache but do not come out of our backpack; they continue the adventure with us. Trip to New Zealand, decided very quickly , but that didn't stop us from preparing a small file of caches to search, as far as possible. The GC46 was, of course, at the top of that list! and there you have it, we visited it during our stay in Wellington. Yesss!! Our program should allow us to discover a large part of this country.FR : journe malheureusement pluvieuse qui va modifier notre programme. We bided our time and waited for muggles to pass and then found it. Then wait for them to pass again. TFTC
Another on the track with a smillie face. All dry logged and replaced. Thank you

We travelled on Road 6...... Seals? where? After a celebration of New years night at car cabine ..... windy day begins. Lets explore the path. I like that views. Wekas? After returning to our car they helped me with preparing the lunch Thanks and greetings from the Czech Republic.
This was the quickest find today. Log has pretty much disintegrated, unfortunately had no paper to add to cache
I found this geocache today and signed the logbook. Thanks for this cache and it's maintaining.
Very beautiful walk although the kids thought the path itself was too easy Found a few caches along the way but also a few DNFs. We tried our best
Saw a few seals at the colony, cool to view them from a distance without disturbing them.

After visiting the fur seal colony we hiked a bit further to find some caches.

We found this one quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed the views on this walkway...
We walked the full loop today. On our way we searched for a cache once and a will. Thanks for showing us this trail. Especially the south part, was not even on my map. And not many people new this track.
Today we had a walk on the Kawatiri corstal trail. On our way to the seal bank we found this cache.

On our way to Golden Bay we managed to find this cache. Unfortunately it was the only one for today, because we had to make a long way. But therefore a big Thanks to the owner for the cache on this beautiful spot. We enjoyed our short walk and the look upon the seals. Thanks!
Waves are crashing its pouring down wirh rain. Super stoked to have found this cache so quick
Whilst in NZ we have managed to see a lot of wekas. Quite an unusual bird that remind me of our moorhens. Thanks for placing this cache for us to do whilst on our morning walk along the coast. The views are just spectacular. TFTC. Eatmorchikin from Brisbane

Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Due to the the COVID-19 pandemic it has been four years since we last made the long trip from California to New Zealand to visit our kiwi kin. In addition to enjoying our time together we are enjoying finding some geocaches, too.
Cape Foulwind was the first stop on our weekend adventure to the west coast with Luckysteaks and family. The weather was great, if anything a little warm even for us Californians. TFTC

It took me a while to find this one. For some reason I didn't see the second part of the clue.
I left a homemade rattll coin.
Thanks for setting this up for me to find

Was a bit exposed so I covered it a little better- could see the container from the track. Little iPhone working well but I need I g those hints thank you. TFTC
I didn't spot this cache to begin with but it came into view when I moved to a different position. I didn't see any wekas here but I had seen plenty of friendly ones at other cache sites over the past few while on holiday.
Catching up with logging caches from our trip last month. Saw the weka and found the cache. Thanks.
Today my plan is to cache around the Westport area. Weather not that great but I've got my raincoat so it OK - not too cold anyway. First up, I'm going to walk the Cape Foulwind walkway to Tauranga Bay and back. I saw plenty of weka along the walkway today and found this cache too. TFTC, Biggles.
Day 9 of three weeks winter motorhoming in the upper half of the South Island. Travelled from Reefton to Westport today. Picked up a few caches along the way, then more on the Cape Foulwind walkway in the afternoon. Great views along the walkway. One more quick find. #4108. TFTC.
Out visiting the area today. Plenty of seals about sunning themselves on the rocks below and nearby. TFTC
Completing the Cape Foulwind Walkway for Easter and picking up a few caches along the way.
A quick find.

We actually did see a weka which took very little notice of us being there at all. I can see why they are called cheeky. Also saw lots of fur seals and pups, which made getting soaked totally worth it. Then the rain REALLY set in so we left the rest for another day. Cache is all good. You take very good care of your caches, thanks weenz, but even though we have completed the most caches ever, we have run out of favourite points!
A quick find after not finding the one in the carpark. Spotted lots of baby seals, lots of birds. Nice walk too. Thanks for the cache.

Out for a walk after a shower of rain, before the predicted ( and delivered) heavy rain in the afternoon.
Still lots of seals and pups at the point.

What an amazing place! Thank you. Also left a little treat for next person.
Found on the walk from Tauranga Bay to the lighthouse. We saw lots of curious weka today and even two babies. Thanks for the cache, loved this series on such a fantastic walk!
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I are on a bit of a Christmas Roadtrip from Auckland to Ingill & back ... we'll be doing a few geocaches on our travels ... this being the 125th cache of hopefully many ... we had been spent Christmas in Invercargill & were now heading back to Auckland, taking the scenic route ... we were now heading North, doing caches as we go ... & there were plenty of Wekas here as well ... good to add another 'smiley face' to the tally ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,859 for us.

*Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!*
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
Weather was quite bad again with several heavy showers of rain
*Short search here and we soon had another good cache located!*

A great morning walk along the coast. It was beautiful and sunny and people did not start arriving until I was on my way back. This meant that I had free range while searching and managed to locate all caches along the way. Thanks for making the walk even more awesome! The wekas must have moved the cache as it was out in the open. TFTC!!
Hide might need re thinking to prevent damage to the flax around the area, and stop the weka moving it
Couldn't find it with the hint (searched at wrong spot, near fence), then just trusted the coordinates and found it.
Signed and left as suggested with rock on top.
We saw a lot of seals while walking here, now back to the carpark.

Didn't find this one. A lot of flax bushes, even with the hint. Kids were just itching to the seals so didn't spend too long. (And still have to drive back to Christchurch tonight)
We have found the original container not the replacement it didn't have the stated cover. A bit hazy the morning at GZ. TFTC
Although there were a lot of muggles on the trail we searched as thoroughly as we could. Unfortunately we found nothing. As the cache wasn't found since beginning of February we think it is gone and needs a lookup by the owner.
Best regards!

Absolutely gutted! Searched on the way down AND on the way back...no joy! Saw no rocks.
I looked at hint objects on both sides of the path but woth so many and the GPS spinning I had no chance today. My first DNF in a few days.
