We pumped up the tyres on our friends two old bikes because we wanted to do some of the PT trail! It was a very hot day for two people who are used to the cooler weather in Orange NSW! We really enjoyed the bike path and the caches we found! This one was very safe and dry in its hiding place. Thanks Loubla and Lazarus _68
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 66 - Swan Valley Perth Day 11. I took another train ride into the city today. I set myself a new list of caches to get to, starting in Northridge and then doing the Perth Sculpture Labs across the main part of the city and getting to the Elizabeth Quay area. It turned out I needed to take the ferry over the river for a cache too, so that was a bonus. I wanted to try a different train, so I went down to Bull Creek for a short walk before heading home for the day. great day with a bit more walking than I had in mind.I went for a bit of a walk out of the train station while I was here and managed to get three caches. I had four on my list, but one has gone. Three caches found without any problems and I got back on the train for the city. Thanks for the cache Lazarus_6848172.12 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & April 2022 Overland Adventure A#487**Albida**
Im the area today. So, I thought I come back to this. Success today. Thanks for the smiley!
Today, I finally had a chance to find this cache! Quick find after you get here! Spoiler photo attached!
Negative, cache container was not made of concrete rocks, only sat amongst them.
Was an easy find. I shall investigate.

Looking at the previous logs, it seems like the cache is in the concrete block, but the concrete block is completely wrecked.
Decided to start this series today as it was nice and cool weather. This was another easy but cool find. TFTC.
Construction still ongoing, nearing completion.
I drive past here 5 times a week, monitoring progress.

I often drive past this site, perhaps twice a week, and monitor on-going progress. This portion of path appears near completion, and may well re-open to public before end of January, fingers crossed.

Out and about on the bike today in the local area to do some caching. Glad there wasn’t many muggles around for this one TFTC
# 5485 In Perth after a wonderful trip across the Nullarbor from Adelaide. Beautiful warm weather, great for tackling some of these on foot, but I was about tired by the end so I caught a train back.

Here we can find the container after a while searching.
Thank you and greetings from Germany

Walked up and down the bike path trying to get the GPS to settle. Then it dawned on me what I had to do to retrieve the cache. Thanks for the cache.
Not easy to be inconspicuous at this one, but I was able to get the find without muggle interruption. As I was making my way back to the path I’m sure the passing cyclist must have thought I was crazy or homeless, oh well back to the car and on my way, TFTC.
Hi, I’m Cirrus_WA but you may know me as CJ_252. Just a small change to my user name to take my actual name out of it.
I look forward to catching up soon at an event or in the field.

Today we wanted to start this series. Finally a nice weekend to do so. Thanks for the nice trip and this series which is hard to maintain. Had a lot fun with The-Shredder. TFTC
Out and about with Parkacruz grabbing a new cache , some of the Periodic table and a few others on the way. Only 1 dnf , so a goods days caching. tftc
We set out early morning with Neva2old to continue on the periodical table as well as others around the area, happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a big smilie TFTC
Not where I expected it to be however a quick hunt and cache in hand. Number 1500. A pathtag left to celebrate. TFTC.
Day 131 of 365! Wow 4 months already. 100 down 200 to go. After catching the train up (or down rather) we walked over close to GZ and parked the pram. Realising we’d have to scale the wall I tucked Mini me under my arm and quickly made the ascent. Paused to check we were in the right spot and I wasn’t just wearing my adventure glasses, we then continued along until we had the cache in hand. Tftc!
Just as well we had our mountain goat here today.. Took him a little while to locate it, but we got there in the end!

Thought we'd take advantage of the nice autumn day today and make a start on this series. We had to watch out for packs of older cyclists in yellow jerseys, some of who were a bit rude! We also found that most of our DNF's were located in areas where Muggles tend to walk the path. It was a good day out which started out with us riding from our home to Warnbro Station and getting off at Bull Creek where we rode to Mt Henry Bridge to start from the beginning. We then rode to Cockburn Central collecting finds along the way and decided to stop here as the GeoKids were a combination of hangry and tired. Had something to eat (at 4pm!) and jumped on the train back to Warnbro Station. Our caching ride took us 4 hours. We had 29 and 7 DNF . We will endeavour tackle the next part once the the kids can be convinced to go out again LOL! Thank you for the series!

As I had Miss 8mo in the carrier i sent Miss 11 up to find it. After a bit of "Keep going further along!" she found it at last. Tftc
See Hydrogen (1) - Periodic Table - for main log.
I had become complacent by the time I got here so it took some time (and reading of previous logs) before I finally decided I really did have to follow my compass up the hill. It was then a quick find. TFTC

Decided to get energetic today and get some smileys on the infamous Periodic Table Caches! Headed out early with [@Reborn995](http://coord.info/PRD2HY1) and began a four hour walk along the Highway finding caches left right and center with only a couple of unfortunate DNF’s along the way! We had managed to find our 600th Cache during the adventure too, which was awesome! All in all it was a great day with perfect weather and lots of smileys!!! Thanks For The Caches!!!

Took a while - need to be a bit of a mountain goat for this one but tracked it down
Found it quite fun

Nice quick find. I'm visiting from the UK for a wedding. Two weeks ago, I tried the ones South of Cockburn. This is my last day, so I wanted to try those going North. After a shaky start, I pulled my socks up and things got much better. I'm awarding a favourite point for a brilliant series.
Regarding this one in particular, I did wonder whether it should be a T3, rather than a T1.5? TFTC.

Out with geogypsys for another great day of caching. Must have planned this well, coming up from Busselton to do these this weekend - the coolest weekend for a while. A bit risky!! A view from the top.

Me Tarzan, she Jane! Just a bit too much for an old lady with hammy knees. TFTC
Thanks for the maintenance BlaKids. You might consider a re-location of this one; not too keen on the position really from both exposure, potential safety and erosion issues. Leave it to you. Thanks for setting it up and getting it back into action.
