We seemed to be following the pattern of the thro60clan from yesterday. Sadly we couldn't find this one either, but there's lots of dropped leaves which could b hiding it even more than usual
Out with friends doing this trail but felt faint for lack of oxygen.
Just as well it's not reality.

Out with geogypsys for another great day of caching. Must have planned this well, coming up from Busselton to do these this weekend - the coolest weekend for a while.

Out with the Mrs for her weekly caching fix. It never seems to be the right weather to mount the deadly treadlies...too hot, too cold, too wet, too windy. We decided to stop with the excuses & go for it. The weather was perfect as it turned out. TFTC
Thank you! Decided to start the Periodic Table series today, and ended up riding from Canning Bridge station to Cockburn station. Found this one without trouble.
We found 32 of the periodic table, between Cockburn Central and Parry Ave. All were relatively quick to find. Two were broken and 1 log was full. It took the 5 of us (2A and 3C aged 2, 5&7) 4 hours to ride. Thanks for the series, will be back to finish
Today it is not too hot, so we are able to ride with the bicycle along the Highway. We can nearly find all the caches in few minutes.
Thank you for all caches say Moorhelmi

Went for a short ride to clear up a few of the "Periodic Table" this morning. Thanks for some accurately-placed caches loubla.
Logged on International Geocaching Day 2016.
Many thanks go to loubla, I found part of your series. Oxygen - Periodic Table. All is well here. This is my find # 359 TFTH! NZJESTER

I have been looking at the periodic table series of caches for some time now. Since I have decided to complete a challenge I need the numbers hence the reason for the run today. I took the day off work and co=opted a couple of fellow cachers, Lazarus_68 and Dezzabills. I thought a couple of days would finish the series off, So today we set off early on our pushbikes with the idea of completing as many as we could manage. As it turns out we made it all the way to the end. We were very fortunate to find the caches quicker than expected. So to sum up the day we found 117 caches in the periodic table and a couple of extras along the way giving me a grand total of 119 for the day. Not bad if I say so myself, and surprisingly there were no DNF's so all in all a great day. The ride down from home in Como took us 6 hours and 58 minutes. While my fellow cachers took the train home I toughed it out and rode home in just over 2 hours. We stopped several times down and back for a break and a bite to eat to refuel the bodies.
This was the 8th find of 119 for the day and was found at 9:09AM Thanks BlaKids/loubla for the cache. hhheddy

Replaced cracked cache container. Should be good for a couple more years. Happy hunting.
NOTE: log paper wet, container needs repair.
Out enjoying a bike ride down alongside the freeway. Interesting seeing so many test tubes, and for most part easy finds. TFTC series!!

I planned a trip to grab some of these Freeway caches today. I brought the bike and parked on Farrington and planned to ride to Mount Henry Bridge. Most of the caches were quick finds, with the odd one or two giving me trouble. A nice and quick power trail.
loubla, I found your cache ‘Oxygen - Periodic Table’ today. It was the thirteenth find of twenty-five finds (so far) with one DNF and brings my total count to 454. The cache was found in a good condition so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. Thanks for the hide. A few caches were broken, but I don't remember which ones. This is a generic log.
This is a new recored for my most caches in a day.

We are on a mission to reach 2999 before the Leap Year event in a week's time and needed 50 caches, so decided to hit the Periodic power trail and see how many we could get done in the time available. We were fortunate to have a cool day with an occasional refreshing mist / drizzle which made the cycling a pleasant experience for a February day. Made it from Mt Henry bridge to Cockburn Central in the time allotted so we were well pleased with our efforts.
We found the series in good repair with only 1 broken container and 1 full log which unfortunately we didn't have spares today. Will carry some when we do the next stage south.
Thanks BlaKids & LouBla for an enjoyable morning's caching .
Thanks for the cache loubla [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 8 of 40 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 2958.

Hello loubla - I found this cache today (my find # 3483) and the cache is in good condition. My day today began at Cockburn Central and after parking the car I headed north towards Leach Highway. The path is great to follow and generally level (an advantage with my old legs). Most caches are in good condition however some containers (sorry I didn't note which ones) are cracked and need replacement. SL. Thanks to loubla for the cache.
Nice cool day to take the geodog for a long walk along the freeway. Began at Leach Highway and finished at South Street with all caches found in reasonable to good condition. Thanks for placing these caches.
Up in Perth for a week from Albany, this trail was number one on the list of things to do. Starting in Perth and riding south we managed to find most caches in the series with only 4 that we couldn't find! We had some test tubes of our own which we replaced with some of the more broken containers but unfortunately didn't have enough to replace them all. Thanks for the epic series guys and also for maintaining them so well!
On holidays from SA staying with Yangebup Mick , Had previously done the middle section , Was dropped off down south and Picked up at the Leach Hwy , Thanks for the fun BlaKids
With the wife and daughter away at school camp and me up earlier than usual to drop off the lad at school, I decided to make the most of the week of annual leave I’m on and get some finds in on as many days as I can.
This is day four of my week of caching and having done from Farrington Road down south to the end of the series, the top half has been a blight of green on my map for years.
The plans to turn them all yellow today fell afoul of the weather a couple of DNFs and time.
As my previous finds on this series I found the cords to be pretty spot on and most finds were as I pulled up and spotted that suspicious pile of wood or rocks. The real easy ones were those completely out in the open, I replaced them in the likely spot and covered of course.
I failed at a few on the ride towards the city and had to abandon my plans to search again on the way back.
Thanks to BlaKids & LouBla once again for a great (long) series. I will find them all eventually..

A quick ride trying to dodge the rain from leach hwy to South st. Got satched in a burst of about 5min rain but huddled under a large tree to see it out. Then peddle power from the kids as dad ran along side.

Given a whole day to go caching in Perth the inner scientist in Freddo could not resist the geeky awesomeness of a Periodic Table PT. With bicycle supplied by .K.B. I travelled by train to Kwinana and folllowed the trail of elements from one end to the other. The cache finds ranged from seen as I arrived, to hides that have me looking for twice the 3 minutes I had allowed. Some caches were replaced. A few caches were unfound and will stand as DNF's.
I know these elements. My job as a metallurgist means that I deal with a large portion of the common 92 at work. There was a sense of pride reeling them off. And then there was the joy of cruising along on a bike on a beautiful winter day that actually feels like an Indian summer.

This cache was found using a Garmin GPSr, Montana 650t, Oregon 550 or Dakota 20. Waypoints and paperless geocaching downloaded via GSAK 8.

Day fifty seven of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
We loaded up the deadly treadlies after dropping the car off for it's service in Fremantle and hit the Periodic Table Series trail at Bull Creek. We worked our way south until we came to where we had finished up a month ago (about #66), then jumped the train at Kwinana for the trip back to Bull Creek. We then completed the last four elements heading north to Perth.
Unfortunately a large collection of DNFs, and one replacement container, and a few replacement logs.
Lovely day for a ride though, and (apart from the DNFs) loved the trail.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8208. Day 2 of our week in Fremantle and Rob's car is in for a service at Melville. We decided to try to finish off the Periodic Table series that we started in late April, by riding down the trail to Kwinana Station and catching the train back to Bull Creek Station before riding back to the Ford Dealer. It turned out to be a 38km day, not altogether successful with 57 smilies and frustratingly, 10 DNFs.
We replaced a couple of logs and one container, but some of the other logs have got rather damp and are looking mouldy and a big time-worn although generally there are plenty of spots left for signing.
Thanks loubla

Back again to have a shot at the first 40 caches in this series
My goal is to get my 1000 before the holidays end and this made a good imapct on it.
Started at Yttrium at 7.30, 2 1/2 hours later I finished at Horcruxes caches at 11am.
40 Finds in hand and 3 DNFs
Most being easy finds. A couple of hunts took some time but all in all a great morning.
Thanks BlaKids and loubla for this awesome series.
Sorry about the generic logs but its hard to remember all of them in a power trail.

I started my hunt for this one from the suburban road side of the barrier wall, so it took me a while to find an opening out onto the cycle path. It turned out to be quite a nice little jog in the end, probably about a 2 km round trip around the neighbourhood. Find was quick and straightforward once I finally reached the bike path. TFTC loubla
Today I walked 7 km from Murdoch to Canning Bridge in a not too hot but sunny afternoon. Nearly all of them were an easy find. Thx!
Nice 4km morning walk with kyzabra. This series is a great way to get in a nice morning walk.
Danee44 and I decided what better way to start the work day than a walk and to make a start on the periodic table series along yhe freeway. an early start meant we should be able to do this top section and still get to work on time
All caches were found easily this morning so it was a very pleasant 4km (or so) walk according to my fitbit.
I'm Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.
On the World Wide Multi Event - Perth, Western Australia I've seen this power trail and thought, I would give it a try. So today I took the train to Bull Creek and cached my way north to Canning Bridge.
MOST of the caches were found fast and easy, duck 43's mostly took a bit longer
TFTC and greetings from Germany

Walked this today after a long time after doing this leg of the series on a bike when the upgrades were underway this cache was out of action
Having a kid-free day today, we decided we would try & finish off the periodic table caches... We quickly spotted some familiar camo & soon had the prize to hand... TFTC loubla

Spring is the perfect time in Perth. Caught the train to Murdoch and then walked back to Canning Bridge. Great couple of hours out in the fresh air! TFTC.

Our second day on this power trail with a stretch objective to do all 57 caches that were left - objective achieved, our only DNF at Sodium which was expected after a run of DNFs since the path was re-modelled through that section. Train to Kwinana, ride down to Safety Bay, turn north for 35 caches all found quickly before lunch at Cockburn Central. Quick ride half way to Murdoch then 22 more caches to the finish and the train home from Canning Bridge. An excellent day out, thanks Loubla and BlaKids.
Lots of ant activity here - they do love their oxygen!

Caught the train up to Canning Bridge this morning from Kwinana to hit the Periodic Table series. I left home at 6.30am and walked back in the door at 1.05pm after riding all the way home. I stopped briefly at Cockburn Central for some brunch and then hit the trail again shortly after. Nice hiding spot here, TFTC.
We thought today would be a good day for a bike ride, so what better than to ride the Kwinana Freeway Bike Trail and indulge both our passion for caching and interest in science by completing the Periodic Table Of The Elements.
We probably ‘bit off more than we could chew’, but what do you do then? Take bigger bites and chew like mad!!
Both Mr & Mrs SKI have completed science degrees in their youth, Mr SKI an Applied Chemistry one. We actually met at Uni in some shared chemistry and physics classes. Mrs SKI uses her qualification regularly, but this may be the first time Mr SKI has really made use of his in over 35+ years. A dubious statistic!
We really enjoyed the ride on another of Perth’s fabulous bike tracks. They are wonderful. Thanks to the crew for the considerable effort that has gone into producing the series.
Apologies for the generic log, but at the end of a long day we are unable to remember individual hides.
