As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. No good to find I hid a child's slipper on the location log the name of the engine when you find it not on floor
Found three stumps at GZ. No sign of it. Found the little bunny hole on the side. Assuming it is supposed to be there. Think some Muggles must have gotten hold of it.
Jess.daphne, The Burnsy and I decided to team up for a day of geocaching around Pegasus and Woodend. We picked up 21 caches and had a good time exploring the area on a cool summers day.
We had a good long search for this one without any joy. We found a group of three tree stumps, one of which had a perfect caching hole in the side, but there was no cache. I don't know if this one has been muggled because a few other people have had DNFs here and the gps was being a tad erratic, but the CO may want to check.

Like the 3 before me I spent some time hunting around here with no success. It might be time for some CO maintenance!
Spent a good half hour searching but found nothing. Suspect its been muggled as it was obvious non geocache hunting activity was had very close by.
Had a good hunt round for this one. Found the likely hiding spot, but no cache to be seen. hope it hasn't been muggled...
Needed to blow out some cobwebs so we headed out this way with the bikes. The plan today was to start at Pegasus and make it to Waikuku and grab a few caches inbetween. We had a great time and had a wee play at Waikuku beach and the playground and scoped out the area to bring the caravan. Lovely ride and we really enjoyed the track.
As I headed to GZ I spotted someone with the cache in hand already. They had found the cache out in the open. I returned it and we covered it up a bit.
Thanks for the cache.

I hunted for this one after the CITO. The Warbuts came along for moral support. BBear and Kiwi-Nomad and I managed to get a smilie. We also managed to collect more rubbish for the CITO.
This may have had me fooled last time i looked but not this time, had a few extra eyes (as we snuck off from the CITO to collect it) but i managed to score the find. Cheers for the cache.
Nice to take a wee break from the CITO to collect another smiley lots of eyes sure help spot this trickey little hide amoung the trees. thanks for company and the cache
Found this one with GHIJKGardner on a trip to the beach. Lovely spot, TFTC!
I was about to give up as my Galaxy S5 appeared to be no match for the trees, then spotted something out of the corner of my eye that would only look out of place to a geocacher. TFTC (1128)
No luck today. Phone jumping around a bit with gps. New to remember the garmin next time!
On holiday visiting whanau an finding caches along the way. Tftc. Tricky find. 7/7/14
Wee wee dude was at a birthday oarty so I took Wee dude out to Waikuku for a bike ride. We approached this completely wrong....and ended up on the beach - not very condusive to cycling! LOL. Luckily not far and we headed back up and to the clubhouse and into the tree's. Plonked the bikes at GZ and then started the search....round and round searching hint objects with no luck. Then just as I was about to give up Wee Dude piped up 'found it'...wahoo - that's ma' boy. Hidey-hole rather deteriated & not really a hint object anymore. But cache is still there to find, on the edge of the clearing. Cheers. Onwards!
Sixteen hours, 100 caches, mission from Rolleston to North Canterbury and back. #82 of 100. Took awhile for the GPSto settle downbut eventually found. TFTC.
Home again after 2 months on the road. Amazed by the destruction of trees by the wind in this area. thought we might find the cache under something but it's OK. Kids sliding down sand hills near by as we went around and around checking stumps. This one has just about disappeared. TFTC
As with previous log entry, had a good look around, found stumps, and very likely hidey spot, but no cache.
Found the three stumps and the spot where we expected the cache to be, but did not find the cache. May want to check that it's still there
A great afternoon at the beach. Miss 6yrs swapped a bracelet for a marble - she thought it was a great deal. Thanks.
5114. Out geocaching around North Canterbury again today. This was our sixth cache of the day and a very quick find. Last time we were here the place was packed solid with muggles, this time it was relatively muggle free. Ended up in exactly the same spot as before, searching the exact same object, only this time it was uncovered in seconds!!! Thanks, Rodney and Iris
Nice forest hide. Found on a walk along here after an event that was part of the Easter national orienteering champs
Tftc and for bringing me out here

Rediguana's phone trumped the garmin, he zero'd in quickly for the find while mine was settling down. Lots of paths to follow around this place. Cheers
Had this one on my list for a while now.Finaly got it without to much trouble.TFTC
Found the cache then decided it was time for lunch. Found a nice clearing and it wasn't long before we were joined by a family towing a caravan. They headed for the surf club. TFTC
738 - I was looking forward to some "eye-candy" in yellow shirts but alas that was not to be. I did however get an eyeful of the cache so all was not lost! There was a nice spot nearby to stop and have lunch. It looks like the camping ground is pretty popular at this time of year. TFTC
Not quite as close to the surf lifesaving building as I expected, but all good. Reasonably simple, based on the GPS coordinates. Good hiding place. TFTC.
A quick easy find after a short walk into the forest – no bushbashing required. TFTC
Place was absolutely packed today so had trouble finding a park. Squeezed into a space but was expecting to get blocked in so had a quick run and search. No luck because of poor GPS coverage, too many likely spots and no time to look properly. Will come back on a weekday!
Jolly lucky to find this- our gps played up just as we got there. Wandered around the area for quite a while then luckily found it. Thanks bryn00213
Caching with Warfi and founf this by luck as we had problems with the gps. Thanks brynoo213
Found it this time. Looked in this place before, but obviously not well enough! Thanks for the hide.
I've been here before and it was cold and miserable and didn't put much effort in to finding. There seemed to be many stumps and GPS spinning. This time weather great, GPS spot on and found in moments. How I missed it earlier is a puzzle. But happy daze and a good bike ride back up the Ashley stop banks to Rangoon. Didn't see a single soul after the white bait fishermen - But lots of contented cows lounging about in beautiful green long grass. TFTC
Got all excited with the prospect of a 2.5 - clearly not one of our 2.5's found within seconds of arriving Left feeling we had driven quite out the way for very little . We knew the beach well and it was not the weather for enjoying either LGM
Finishing off the day with a few more caches, quick find with help of the hint, tftc
This one took awhile and plenty of walking around into the same clearing from different directions. There were some hunters making noises about giving up! until M's skills at sniffing out a cache found it for us.
TFTC.
TFTC.
I'm glad someone found this today - I walked arond & around, in & out... and left. Another day, perhaps.
Found it, signed it and re hid it while little red engine was ferreting aroun the other side of the dune.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

TFTC. The sea was pounding as we climbed the sand dunes to get a clear direction and distance before heading into the tree cover. GPS was accurate, but it still took a couple of minutes to find the correct GZ.

Went round in a few circles before uncovering this one. TFTC.

Our GPS doesnt like trees and we had given up after several visits. Then we got a few additional clues and after some more intense hunting we found the right spot. TFTC
After a bit of encouragement, back we came. Our GPS was a bit happier, and the Cache was soon found.Pleased to have it off our DNF List.TFTH
This is a cache where a really accurate GPS is needed. Those trees are dynamite. There has been so much disturbance there, but it is only helping nature. The cache hidey hole is rather fragile, but we rebuilt it. In the end the coords were spot on. Thanks.
Out on a bike ride to check on my cache on the Tuhaitara Walkway and decided to press on to Waikuku Beach to see if I could find this cache. I could. It was in the second place I looked. Nice hide. 31km return ride from Kaiapoi.
Looks like someone hasn't posted their DNF, the area has lots of Stumps that have been smashed, and broken. Our GPS didn't want to play the Game. (It has never like Trees) so we had no luck here today. Will keep an eye on this one,and see if it does get found.
Yay another FTF. Found easily while taking rover for a walk. I could see where others had been looking within centimeters of this one,TFTC
Had a good scratch around. Someone else had also been looking under every log and stump with as much luck as us it seems. Will try again sometime.
