As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

I noticed this cache has a string of DNFs and that the CO has not responded to the [blue]Needs Maintenance[/blue] log. I have temporarily disabled this listing, to give the cache owner an opportunity to repair their cache in accordance to the cache maintenance guidelines. http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
While I feel Geocaching.com can hold this location for a cache owner and block other caches from being placed nearby, it cannot be held forever. In other words… Use it or lose it.
Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the [blue]archive listing[/blue] link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing or replacing this cache, please log a reviewer note on the cache page (not email) within the next 30 days to avoid the cache being archived due to non-communication.
Thanks for your cooperation.

A quick find in the first place checked while exploring in the area this morning. I recall coming here several years ago to hunt for a now-archived cache which was pretty close to this one but unfortunately it had gone. No problems with this one. Signed log, TFTC
Enjoyable walk with the dog to get to this one. Area was deserted so was able to have a good search.
Decoy dog loved the walk through the leaves in the park on the way to this cache. A quick easy find. TFTC.
Sixteen hours, 100 caches, mission from Rolleston to North Canterbury and back. #7 of 100. Found but not where hint said it would be so moved it back. TFTC.
Almost forgot to log this one. Lots of people round but managed to sneak in and get it.
Right where it should be. Found with Long Bay Pirate & Scooby Treasure. TFTC
Nice little cache and walk by the park but the clue perhaps a bit too explicit.
Some heavy duty cars here today for some kind of race. No one saw me sneak in and sign the log. Tftc
Had an event here today so the place was pretty busy but the cache was located and replaced discretely. TFTC Cheers Bo
I needed to find 5 caches in the dark for the MGSc - so detoured up here on the way home - car park was initially empty but a few cars came racing through intermittently.
Quick find, signed log & replaced. TFTC.

I had a really really long, exciting, but busy day.
I was then very last minute invited to a friend in Rangiora's place for dinner, and with the lack of time, I knew I couldn't find my cache for the day on the way there. So it would have to wait till after. But to my luck, my friend, and a friend of hers who was also over asked to come out with to find the cache, as they were interested in what this whole geocaching thing was all about!! Oh yeah!
So my closest unfound to her place, and looked like a nice easy one! So I asked for directions to the Library Car Park... and good thing I did, as all these one ways and closed roads made it pretty difficult!! But the cache was very easily found as soon as we rocked on up. And we all signed our names in the logsheet!
And then bedtime for me!! Yaaaay to get consec day # 254 sussed!!

Nice walk to grab this one after work on Saturday. No longer in camo container. Tftc
Grabbed this cash after checking out some books from the library. After looking all around for a while the hint came in very handy!
Quiet on a Sunday but must be fun watching the surveillance tapes. People walking up and then walking away.
All these signs about security cameras.... but a quick find and hopefully no suspicious behaviour. TFTC
A quick easy find, with a few cars passing by while were there. A warm and sunny spot to sit while signing the log. TFTC
Easily found, the place was totally vacant today and we drove right up to it

No problems with the co-ords, touch the car and grab the cache at the same time. Cheers

Find #2
Nice quick find. Literally park and grab. This was a good find (hidden in a good spot) because the carpark is quite large so not many cars or people around. Some moving of ivy may take place to retrieve the geocache. TFTC

Today I decided to do a run up to Rangiora and the area around it. I turned off the motorway and did a clockwise loop throught Eyreton. This was a quick park and grab.

Wee dudes staying the night at their Grandparents. Mrs G treated Mr G to an evenings caching adventure. What fun! Last of the evening. Quick find by car head light. No one else around. Cheers.
We saved this one until after we'd done the multi. Our second time to get a cache not far from here. Are those security cameras recording geocachers' activities?
