Was very busy here today, I didn't bother to look, now reading the logs, I am glad I didn't

29-Mar-13

03-Feb-13
Looked in what seemed like everywhere. Think it may have been pushed over into an I reachable place during the recent storm

02-Feb-13
Could nt see it , we are wondering if it got washed away in the big storm , and high tides , but couldn't have. Proper look as many muffles around Smile

26-Jan-13
Luckily the beach was relatively deserted at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon of the Australia Day long week-end - yep the weather was terrible. There were a few brave souls sheltering under the decking but it wasn't too hard to locate the cache.

Hmm, I assume the difficulty rating on this, refers to when the beach is not populated... Clan Gunnie wandered over toGZ this morning to find the place littered with muggles. Yes the beach was naturally going to be full but I wasn't expecting muggles to be occupying GZ... It makes sense though...

We'll have another crack when we're next up this way. [^]

After an entertaining day at Australia Zoo, I headed back to Mooloolaba to prepare diving the ex-HMAS Brisbane.

A short detour brought me to the beachside and, after realizing that I was searching on the wrong level, had the Cache in hand quickly.

17-Nov-12
We were trying to find some regular sized caches in which to place some TBs, so headed to the Sunshine Coast for the morning. There were already a few people on the beach, but we were able to locate the cache with ease. Unfortunately, with the new logbook, there was no room for the TB, so our search for a regular cache continues. Thank you for having placed the cache Llyod Down Under and Datson

Found on our road and airtrip through Australia, from Darwin to Adeladie and further on to Brisbane and Gladstone.
On our last stopover in Australia, we enjoyd the amazeing Sunshinecoast, and found the gocache, without any looking Muggler-eyes. Big Grin The cachecontainer was supplied with a brand new and unwritten loggbook, in which we proudly wrote our nick.
Thanks for the cache from Sweden.

Our doughter placed the TB Menehune-Man in the Box. We hope both will come home soon!

04-Nov-12
Great spot but plenty of muggles. Found early in the day. Container is void of log book so please next person take one. Still a great spot for a cache thanks LloydDownUnder

04-Nov-12
Had a sneak peek one afternoon but too many people. I went back this morning with Dragon's Lair and found the cache. There is no book and not much of anything really. It may have been 'robbed'. Perhaps it needs to have a 'health check'! Wink T.N.L.N.

03-Nov-12
Have visited this beach for many years and used this area to get away from the sun - so knew there was no point coming during the day. Hence the find was made early in the morning before there were too many people about. Signed the sheet of paper (as had others) - no log book. TFTC.

29-Oct-12
We just had a pizza on the beach and decided to go geocaching with the help of the full moon. Kids loved it. TFTC

Found yesterday but had to come back late today for the grab. Left a trackable. Tftc

With a temperature above 30, there were many muggles. But doing some excercises with our hats, gave a good stealth, so we were able to log unseen.

Beautiful walk in the sun this morning led us to this cache. Not so many muggles around today. There is no real log to write in, should this be the case or has it gone missing? TFTC JenneG & Budgy

Nice hide LloydDownUnder!

Too short to reach this one myself, so had to wait for geohubby to arrive to retrieve this one. Boot camp was happening on the beach at dusk when we were there, but no one took any notice of us. TFTC Cheers, coral.sea.cat

cool hide I bet 10,000 people have just walked over it and not noticed. be arair of muggles.

08-Sep-12
Found this one without any fuss but the sublime weather brought with it a slew of muggles who chose this spot to catch some rays. I tried again the next day, much earlier this time, but again, muggles! I didn't get to sign the log... but the cache was quite clearly in its spot.

27-Aug-12
We had a wonderful day of caching in this vibrant and scenic part of Queensland. We loved the Sunshine Coast when we were here back in 2007 and it is still as lovely especially on a bright sunny day like today. We enjoyed finding this well hidden cache.
Thanks to LloydDownUnder.

25-Aug-12
With the help of the little fuddleys I was able to make a quick grab even with all the muggles about.
Log book is missing just bits of paper to write on.

22-Aug-12
Found at 0933 with my sister and brother in law. A quick find which turned out to be easier to find than expected. There was no log book when we visited signed the back of a receipt that was letf in the cache. It was a pity the cache was some way off from where we left the car because i had some spare log sitting in the car. Also I considered I was lucky to get the cache while no one was looking and was not sure I coud pull it off again. Maybe a future cacher can bring along a log book with them. TFTC.

22-Aug-12
1222. Parked at underwater world and legged it to this one, located the cache (with the help of the hint) Did a quick look around and no one seemed to be looking so I retrieved it, did the beach bit - sat, put the cache in my backpack and ate an apple while checking out the cache contents, only to find no log book ??? further checks revealed Trecking Trev had been there earlier today and had found the same problem. so I signed same paper as he and the geocaching info sheet as well. I could have walked back to the car for a temp log book but a second visit back to this site would cause undue attention to the cache. LloydDownUnder=TFTC.

Had a look last night but people were doing their fitness training so I walked on and came back later when they had gone. Easy enough to find even in the dark. Thanks LloydDownUnder

We love this place. My wife and I have been coming to the LWAV even before we moved to the Sunshine Coast. Such a lovely place.

Anyway, we went looking, and I tried a few chin-ups to look about. But the Mum in the family spotted it--nice and safe.

Then off to get fish and chips for lunch, give the kids a play, and enjoy this wonderful beach. Thanks LloydDownunder.

Navigated and found by the Mum in the family.

Thanks nice and easy we got the collectable coin

23-Jul-12
Wasn't to busy down here today. Muggles lying right near GZ made it harder to nab without detection but it wasn't to long before we had cache in hand. Nice size and very cleaver placing. TFTC Smile

1100hrs. The weather looked better so it was time to get out of the house for a while. The area was still quiet so managed to grab the cache and sit on some rocks and fill out log. Took our time and returned cache whilr better half was taking a photo. Was nice to be out and about. TFTC

13-Jul-12
There was minimal people out on the beach for this one as well - given the weather. There was still the odd muggle though.

My smartphone (how I hate thee for caching, smartphone) indicated an area and I started the hunt. The good thing about the smartphone is that it has the torch function. And it soon illuminated a prize for me. The cache is in excellent condition. An audacious little hide isn't it? Razz Very well done. TFTC LloydDownUnder Smile

We love this area. A nice quick find after parking the geovan on a nearby loading zone.

Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!

This was cache #39, found while on holiday in lovely Mooloolaba. Took a little while to get with all the muggles around, but eventually made the find with stealth. TFTC!

07-Jul-12
Well it is not sunrise and sunset has just passed as we wandered down to the beach and this cache. There were a family playing cricket on the beach but they were not interested in what we were doing. Geopartner grabbed the cache and I signed it and he placed it back in place. All good. Watched a passing cargo ship in the distance but unable to take piccy as too dark now to show up. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks LloydDownUnderand Datson Cool

Heading to the coast for a kids party this morning I decided to go via Mooloolaba as I actually left home early for a change Razz We found a park quite easily which was strange given that it is school holidays at the moment [^]

Arriving at GZ I checked it out from above first so I knew where to head. I left our bubba and 3yr old to go crazy on the beach whilst I set about retreiving the cache Surprised A helicopter just happened to fly by so whilst all eyes where on it I quickly retreived the container Big Grin

I signed the log then sat watching the kids for quite a while until the coast was all clear again. TFTC LloydDownUnder Smile I ended up being fashionably late for the party after all Smile

Will hopefully get up in the morning bright and early for a snap shot -photo to follow

Great to have another cache placed in Mooloolaba just a short walk from home
