Cache 797 GOOD one! Not you “standard” guard rail find that’s for sure, which is what I initially looked for, for a start I looked right past it….. and started to search further along it wasn’t till I was returning to GZ I spotted it, DOH almost had me cache is in excellent condition T4TC
Mmm, I love this type of landscape. Lush, bountyful farmlands enabling a-harvests a-plenty. Thank you for hiding this cache.
Traveling home from Dunners, we grabbed this Bridge before the sky turned Black. Signed as Southern Raiders.
A roadie as part of the Southern Raiders. Hunting up Wonders, hoping for FTFs on some, and to Dunedin to attend an event. This grabbed on the way home, an extra as by my calculations, the Wonders are done and dusted tftc
A group of Southerners have travelled up to Dunedin for the day to attend our first Creation Celebration event and to knock off the latest challenge "Wonders of the World". A cute wee hide here. Due to the number of people in our convoy we've signed the log as Southern Raiders or SR for short. TFTC
Found on way to Dunedin. Enjoying the caches in the area. Hopefully my back is better tomorrow
Found on a geo adventure with the grandkids on the way home cache in perfect condition tftc
Stopped off here today and reckon this will be the southernmost cache, both of this holiday and probably the furthest south I will ever visit. A nice quick find. TFTC and all in good condition.
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #519.
Sooooo, das wird dann wohl auf absehbare Zeit unser südlichster Cache sein, den mein Lottikind und ich je gehoben haben
This is Lottikind's and my most southern cache, nice one
I have placed a flag at gz (have a look at [Flagstack.net](https://flagstack.net))...

Where have I been this year? See [Poparni-2020-TB](https://www.geocaching.com/track/map_gm.aspx?ID=3261631)

Headed out today to pick off a bunch of caches alongside the mighty Clutha, as part of a last-minute effort to grab the final souvenir for the Museum challenge. Eventually I'd go on to pick up two caches called Black Bridge in very different areas of the country, but here was my first. Not too difficult to start off my morning. Cheers!
.Black or white. We spent some time tracing this elusive one down to tag. Cheers
Its Wednesday 24 April and we are off exploring Milburn, Lawrence and Lake Mahinarangi today. Awesome!!
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

My notebook says I liked this - it was sneakier than average. Can't remember why.
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Heading back into Milton after an afternoon walking around Waitahuna Cemetery and checking out the Waitahuna Gully area as well. Found this one on way along some back roads but didn't do many caches while on them. Need to return.
After a long hot week and the last weekend of the school holidays we decided a road trip was in order so where to go.?????
After a early morning start to pick up a cache or two as we head for home.
A quick park and grab as we head for home
Nice hide
Cache is nice and dry.

Last weekend before high school goes back... so any excuse is a good one, to head off the main road into the wilderness to find us some caches.
Early start to head home to carry on with jobs that need done.
Thankfully a quiet morning, grabbed it quickly..

So quiet here after the busy main road in a Friday afternoon. Log book in bag on the ground so replaced where it should be. All dry. Tftc
So we found this little gem on our way to Queenstown, probably the most southern Cache I will do for a long time, maybe forever, but lets find out, as time will tell

A quick park and grab on the way home from a weekend in Cromwell. Easy find TFTC
I have a spare magnetic container I bought at Geofest if you would like....
But maybe you had better find a new location in case it goes missing like last one .

Disappointed my container has been taken and replaced with a plastic thing.
I hope whoever took it feels good. I bought it off the geo site and was a cool wee magnetic container. Thanks thief!

Quick night-time drive-by pick-up once we found a spot for the car to park and turn around. Non-magnetic container soon in hand and we SL. TFTC Cat_e_bear.
#128 ticking up another cache around Milton. Had a bit of a "headache" from the previous night so was only looking for a park n grab and this one fitted the bill perfectly, TFTC
Off for a few days at Kingston and of course a few caches with the big 1000th coming up. First for the day.
Heading to Toko Mouth for the night from Dunedin and decided to come a slightly longer way to pick up this cache. A quick find.
Very quick grab here. cheers. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc cat_e_bear. Find # 3797
An opportune time to grab some P'n'Gs on a push northwards before the storm to check in on some cause célèbres. Found a park for the little bo peep Jeep off the road a bit and wandered over to the GZ. Was expecting something else going by hints but found the berrocca tube sitting sweetly in a popular hide throughout the South. Added a new logbook and baggy as it was hard to retrieve the log paper.TFTC
Ah yes the white bridge! While non a quick, unexpected trip to the airport i , of course , had to locate at 2-3 caches for the day. This was a quick park and grab, sign and replace. all was well here with the cache. Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
Excellent day's exploration around the Balclutha area. A touch a Spring in the air, lambs in the paddock and daffodils not far away from flowering.
No trouble finding this one.
#20 for today - a personal best for us!

GC no. 14 in New Zealand and farthest south one!
First about the statistics: New personal records: Farthest south.
My need for today : Wanted to have that the farthest south point that I reached in my life (and may stay till the end ) is exactly maching GC Coordinates. I have this with North: [link text](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=ef2ea857-86f3-462b-a86d-8cb288822cb2) at N 60° 42.421 E 008° 54.823
and East: [link text](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=df1a7721-be8d-4bf5-a5e0-42d1f60d5661) at S 38° 10.746 E 176° 21.384
Therefor it was necessary to reach that point outside the car with some safety meters. This cache was perfect for my mission: Stop the car at the main road - walk to the bridge - find the tin before crossing the bridge - sign logsheet at 11:57 a.m. - rehide - take some pics - and back to the car.
So I'll remember this Black Bridge you've choosen for the cache as my personal South end of the World.
Nicht jede Hatz nach einem Schatz ist für die Katz.
Danke + Grüßle / thanks + kind regards from german Posaunenclaus / Trombone-Claus

The last time we visited New Zealand in 1998, we missed the Milford Sound because of lack of time.
Now, as W is working in Sydney and C is visiting him, it was very close by.
So we decided to turn her visit into a small New Zealand vacation.
And off course this can't be done without a few geocaches.
A few turned into about 150 of them.
We started in Queenstown, but this time no bungy jumping anymore.
At the airport we switched the gsm-card to a NZ one, with internet access.
That way we would be able to check for recent logs and spoiler photos.
After we got our rental car we started the gps.
We're not used to driving on the left side of the road, but that was no problem with all the road signs.
During our last visit it was summer, now it was autumn.
The weather looked more like home, but we had our umbrella and raincoat with us, which we used a lot.
At the Milford Sound the rain was an advantage, as the rainfalls were huge.
This one was not easy to find, it took us a while to fine it. but we found it.

First find for the day on my way up Central. Had to wait a bit for the muggle in the tractor to pass by slowly. Quick find. TFTC
Nice tricky find. I almost gave up. Needs a new logbook, left my details on a piece of paper.
