OCW EverestHigh, It's Dozzie and Martin Cousins before Uni Sport. who doesn't love a chocolate treat, only wrappers were found in this cache though, TFTC azzzlenic
OCW Its_Dozzie, Everest High & Gavingo4, another rather quickish find by the group
#14862 11:20What better way to spend a sunny Sunday than in the good company of friends for some geocaching. We were all very disappointed to only find chocolate wrappers in the cache. But perhaps for the better as at least we had an ant-free cache.OCW Everest High, Martin Cousins and Gavingo4.TFTC azazzlenic
A quick find at GZ, but not quick enough as someone had eaten all the chocolates! OCW Gavingo4, It's_Dozzie an Martin Cousins. TFTC azazzlenic
Came back for another day of Faulconbridge finds before it gets too wet. Lots of wrappers, naughty Yeti! Nothing for us the hungry geocachers? Nice discovery to make my 19th find today, TFTC
I’m visiting Sydney from Brisbane and came up to the Blue Mtns today to catch up with old friends. Even though it was raining we did a bushwalk down this lovely track. Quick find at gz. Tftc
Beautiful location, easy find with master Q, Rite and muggle husband.
I understand the joke with the choc wrappers but still do not like it.

Needed a quick find today towards the Fill the Calendar challenge cache. This one fitted the bill nicely.
I do hope that the person who ate all the chocolates got a tummy ache. I was sooo looking forward to a chocky. TFTC anyhow.
Nice easy little cache and walk through the bush. Pity the chocolates were missing though. TFTC
Found it! Tftc. 7m from coordinates for us but looking for markings made it a successful trip. Thanks
I dropped by the lair of the Chocoholic Yeti today but he was too shy to say hello,i tried to lure him out with more chocolate but even a chocoholic has its limits
Nice one!

For some reason we hadn't tried this find, but it was an easy and fun find. GPS was waaaay off but a bit of experience told us where to sniff out the hide.
The area has recently had a hazard reduction (burn). We found the cache safe and sound, except that the Yeti was covered in melted chocolate. TFTC
Streak Day #992 - Met up with dave8153 to find this one, quick find for a rainy wet day. TFTC
Was just about to empty out some garbage from the cache when I realised it was more of a humorous 'camo' type of accompaniment
A quick find whilst racking up some numbers before heading further up the mountains for a couple of days to do some extreme caching with Delloro! TFTC!

Out for a walk and day of caching with my Sister, Wackydo. A fairly quick find. TFTC
#303 met up with alnic39 & lachnic62 to go after some of the caches in the Valley Heights area this afternoon. Found the cache and it might need a checkup as with the amount of chocolate it is getting diabetes could be an issue though the golf ball was a bit hard to swallow. I didn't leave anymore chocolates for the Yeti and I didn't take any of it's hoard. Signed log and replaced as found
Last of our finds today. After some walking down and around this location with some success a chocolate just the thing to finish with. Quick scramble up the slope was rewarded with a choc stop. Signed the book and replaced. Thanks for placing azazzlenic.
Had a bit of time up my sleeve, and saw this. The name had me intrigued, so I went for it. Pretty quick find once at GZ. Enjoyed being in the bush and away from the busy highway. Tks azazzlenic!
Picked up our tb we had dropped off previously as we are keen for it to move along and we were passing to do the caches along the trail. All good with the cache.
Funnily after chatting about my sister and family, we bumped into them walking down the firetrail as we were looking for this one. Found fairly quickly, enjoyable cache, thank you. Left Flinders geocoin.
Having the offer of a lift south (west) meant I was able to get a few caches I normally wouldn't be able to get to. This was the last of the morning walk through this side of the valley.
All good with the cache. Was able to leave my Cherry Ripe wrapper
Took nothing; Left: a black pen

1315 GAFF1 This last one of our 'tour' of this part of the valley. Having had a 'Picnic' for morning tea I was wondering what I was going to get for 'lunch'! But being a small container it is no surprise I could only just fit in my empty wrapper, and a Correct Site Marker - as I had 1 m on the GPSr whe I saw the cache, and I hadn't even put the backpack down.

Fantastic to be in Blue Mountains area with tmann421 geocaching & taking in the views.
Thanks so much for bringing us here & for all the enjoyable placements to find.

Set out early this morning with Jfindit to attempt a few caches in a different area than one we are familiar with this being the lower blue mountains area, this is a great spot with many challenging cache types as well as terrain and difficulty ratings, we had a great day and would recommend the area to anyone who is prepared to test themselves in all environments. got the geo rig in a bit of strife here thank god for the winch and tftc
xPhenoms and I ventured south this morning 4:30am “grumble grumble” in the trusty Mitsubishi Geowagon down the thin black line to Penrith and then onwards to the Blue Mountains ie Glenbrook, Blaxland, Springwood. For part one of a two day trip. Am awarding a favourite for this one for the cache and getting back to the Tar, Thought we might have spent considerable amount of time at the bottom if the valley, But thanks to the winch and a handy Gum tree no problems. Great cache. TFTC
Map was playing up a bit, cache is pretty wet!!,
But Thanks, found with jgleeson_25, geosis and geojohn and geodog

An easily found cache on my way back to the car. Love the storyline, but am concerned that the smell (if one exists) from the wrapper may eventually attract wildlife. None so far, so all good for the moment.
With daylight quickly fading, this was my last find of the day following an afternoon's caching with TeamCanary.
Much fun and adventure was had along the fire trail - it was brilliant making so many finds along such a short walk!

Yes well as far as chocolate and half of Altaire goes magnets and iron or moth and flame ain't in it. We were doing a bit of a wander down this fire trail and this was the first cache along the way. Easy to find but no chocolate alas! Apart from the kilo or so in "someone's" pack. Lunch was then partook upon a nearby sun dappled rock.

After a day was had caching around Western Sydney, I stopped off on the way back to Mount Victoria for a few more. This one wasn't too far down the trail, and the night was perfect for a walk, so I figured I might walk the whole trail. The cache was found very nicely hidden away, and after which, headed further down the trail to be met by a large gate...so left it for another time in the daylight.
Gratias azazzlenic.

Walked, well Cached, from the bottom gate, around the firetrail with 'fresh' ferns agreen along towards this GZ. Made it up that hill to the gates, gobbled the chocolate for a booster (poor Yeti) ... little knowing of the still to do climbed to Banksia and the long walk back to the GeoReindeer. The Cache was in good order, and all dry. TFTC
Took a bit for gps to settle even on a sunny day but once it did, it pointed us in the right direction and soon had CIH. Took TB. TFTC. Chocolate was already melting before we could give it to the yeti, so I ate it! Sorry Mr Yeti!
Loved the theme of this cache. Didn't see the yeti, but did find the cache after a day in the mountains bushwalking. Lovely spot and not too hard to get to. Left a daredevil motorcycle TB that wants to get to Canada. TFTC azazzlenic

We could have done with a chocolate or two, rewarded with wrappers.. Hmmm. TFTC azazzlenic
Althoough our cache vehicle for the day probably would have made the way all the way to GZ, we decided to go for a nice sunday afternoon walk!

PS ate all the chocolates!?

Very funny.. I mentioned the first to find log on this one may have read took chocholates left wrappers. Damm the hungry Yetis.. SLTN..TFTC
We had a quick find once coordinates zeroed.
Was expecting the yeti to require a larger place.
As others before me the yeti has been and taken any chocolate and only left the wrappers.

A fairly quick find after we got to the right spot, and not a chocolate in sight, well not one that we could eat! Thanks for bringing us here, a nice spot.
So, after the evidence collection was finished, various hair samples gathered, plaster had set, and the collection of some weird steamy material that may have contained traces of nuts was scooped up. We thought we would post at least one of the evidence images.
Sadly. The yeti had already been and eaten all the sweeties. We did find some good evidence of him having been here recently. I'll post a pic once the evidence collection is complete.

I had been in this area many times now so I knew where to start this cache off from. I'm parked in the safest spot near on Banksia Drive and make my way towards GZ. Knowing the track and its location, the hard part was deciding when to leave the track towards GZ. I chose a spot which had me only 10 mts from the GZ co-ords. After a quick scramble into the growth, the cache was found in short time. Nice hide. I had some sneaky evidence of confectionery during this week. Still sitting in the car. Maybe I should have added it to the cache and that way the wife won't know when she goes for a drive next. Opps!! TNLN SL TFTC.
A short days caching with pjmpjm saw us walking down the very familiar trail, we reached GZ and the likely spot was located. The cache was soon in hand and we both had a good laugh when it was opened.
Today was quite busy here so the poor Yeti must have been greatly disturbed, let's hope he will not take it out on the next lot of cachers to stop by.
Thanks for the great cache, now I must go and get me some chocolate!

An easy find after a pleasant walk down the fire trail. Where's the chocolate reward? TFTC
Headed out on fathers day to collect a few caches that had appeared recently and we hadn't found the time to go after.
-
Enjoyed the walk down and the short successful search.

Found together with rogerw3 on the way to our 'Lair of the Bunyip!' adventure, not far off a convenient and familiar fire trail.
We didn't the get the joke as we walked less than 150 metres from the parked GeoBuru2 to GZ. But we understood when we opened the lid of the container!
Hope the local possums and other nosey 'critters' don't take too much of an interest in this one.
Anyhow, the 'Yeti' (or was it a Yowie?) has already had all the fun!
A nice short walk on a pleasant fire trail on a day that felt like spring . . .
All was in good order with the geocache. Our GPSrs took us to within about 5 metres of the actual GZ so we had an easy find. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to azazzlenic! These Blue Mountains hides are much appreciated.

#1414 and Day 95 of my streak- Well, this was a particularly hard one, not the cache itself, but just fitting it into the day... I got up early today to go on my 12 hour shopping bus trip around Sydney. I am told I have two main vices: shopping and well, CHOCOLATE. I had intended to do this one tomorrow, but after seeing the massive accident, holding up the east bound lanes on the M4 on the way back, and not wanting to go for a big drive tonight,I decided to give this a go instead. It was just after 7pm, when I stumbled down the trail and wandered a bit before finding the Yeti's spot. I think it was probably easier in the dark, the container just catching my eye in torchlight. I had to laugh when I found the cache. It's funny, my last outlet on the shopping trip was DolciDori chocolates, so it was probably a very appropriate cache for tonight. Thanks azazzlenic, I'll now sit down and eat some of those Irish Cremes I bought and relax....5 days to go- finally feels like I can make it! I must come back during the day and have a look at this spot- it was steeper down than I thought it would be. Sorry I didn't get to this dedicated cache earlier.
