Did not find bison but found the whale (ripped apart unfortunately), searched the area for a bison but couldn’t find anything near the whale, looks like it may have been tampered with.

After geocaching in the pouring rain, I was as wet as a whale.
There are so many good places to hide a cache here so it had me hunting high and low far and wide. My sonar detection was not very good so I was about to bail out when I caught it surprisingly in an insignificant place. Just a drop low down on the ocean floor.
*Have added some paper as the other log was squashed and too hard to retrieve without tweezers.*

Found and signed with a 'W' after doing some cache maintenance in the area the log however resembles paper mâché more than a log so needs its own maintenance sorry didn't have any more spares on me today. TFTC Kand C and waves high to shortcut hicksy who has now found many more
A rare Tuesday off decided to make the most of it after a little sleep in today and go get some caches that I am yet to find however always get missed as the usual partner in crime has already found them.
I found your cache K & C 071 - SCH thanks for placing this hide and bringing me to this area.

A pleasant walk and nice quick find.
TFTC Keego_and_Chil this is find # 2283 for us.

A little further in on the path than I intended to go + geodaughter no happy about the itchy grass(she was not dressed well for todays find) but had a "whale" of a time thanks
We looked and looked but no luck. I referred to the photos on the recent finds so i know we were in the right area. Also looked for a "whale" as mentioned in the comments, still no luck. Hmmmm ???
Began on the wrong side of the path and was not liking the long grass even in winter. Approached a large tree carefully and was shocked to see the tail end of a snake slither slowly past the tree. Rechecked the gps and realised we didn't need to go in there so went to the correct side of the track and found the cache. Must admit to being very cautious and initially startled by the camo as i had forgotten the description. Nice hide. Tftc!
Found the Cetacean and the bison tube in this part of Champion Lakes, City of Armadale. TFTH Keego_and_Chil.
Wahoo! We found it! Only our 5th cache, we didn't know what a bison tube was . Thank goodness for the whale! Congrats on 1000!
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
We spent an awful long time looking for this as the GPS would not settle. We were about to give up when I saw Mac running off with it in his mouth! The new log is dry & in good condition. I hope we have put it back in the right position, as we never saw where it was hidden. I will message the CO. TFTC
Heading home, enough light left to grab a cache.
On the way, I jumped off Tonkin to grab the one. A brief walk up the track and quickly found the cache. I replaced the soaked log but if anyone is up this way, the bison tube could do with a new rubber rjng. It's gone.
Keego_and_Chil I found your cache K & C 071 - SCH on 28/08/2015. This is my find #3612. TFTC.

TFTC! After a big sleep in after a HUGE couple of days at WAGB 2015 I needed a find today to fill in my second last blank spot on the calendar (the other being 29 February) and to keep my streak going on my eventual goal for 400 days straight of caching which gets harder nearly everyday.
Was a quick find in the second place I looked. Thanks

Parked up as close as possible and heard a noise in the bush and was tempted to turn back, however soldiered on in search of ten straight days of a find. Sun was setting so thought it's gotta be this one. Walked up to ground zero and searched the trees, nothing so tried looking high and low til I heard something more friendly and cache was in hand tftc and congrats on your finds total
Headed to Champion Lakes to take the kids riding & took the long way to stop & find this cache on the way... A nice stroll to the cache, the kids admired the neighbouring horses whilst I went on ahead to make a quick find of the well hidden cache
TFTC Keego_and_Chil [^] Cache was in good condition.

Nice cache! I was excited to retrieve said "geocoin" but after finding the cache i read the comments and found out it was gone. Oh well. TFTC
Made a slight detour to the Kelmscott area again for about half an hour of cache hunting. Parked about 150 meters from GZ and made the walk in along a slightly mushy track.
The skies were threatening but luckily I a made a quick find of an interesting container.

The frustration surrounding the hunt for this cache was almost enough to make me call it an afternoon despite this being only the third cache on a long list I'd planned. Even with a satellite image, I couldn't seem to reach GZ. I tried two culdesacs and then went cross country along the wrong track and ended up on the wrong side of the stream. A bumpy ride back to an intersection in the track had me cursing but at least on the path to success. Only problem, there was a stream to cross. This could've ended so badly; if my shoes had've ended up wet, I would've been ropable!!!! Thankfully I committed to the crossing with sufficient speed to reach the other side with only minor splashing. It was then an easy ride along a track to GZ to log a quick find (almost an hour after logging the previous cache!!) after stomping around until I heard a squeak. Needless to say, I rode the gentle 100 or so metres back to the road before a long ride back to a cache I'd ended up riding past while trying to get to this one. Overall a grrrrr experience from me. No doubt car driver just drive around and around until they locate the track; not so fortunate for me on my bike. Thanks for the cache.
Quick find. Jumped back when I thought I'd come across a lizard or snake at first sighting ha ha .

Walked up the muddy bridal trail with richlink and Jacobscrew to find this one. Thanks Keego and Chil.
Parked on Mustang Road and walked the muddy trail to gz. Appendage was a bit bigger than expected so took longer than it should have to locate.
Nice day out with the other teams (RIchlink and ILuvTrekking) to knock off a few in the area. TFTC
A quick find and an interesting location. It took a few tries to find the right way in.
Thanks
Thanks
The description of this cache doesn't match what I found (systema container) but the log entries match. Don't know what's happened here but I signed the log and replaced the cache.
TFTC.

Systema lid seal is leaking and contents are wet but the log is still dry in the ziplock bag.
I have now retrieved the original container it seems a bit cache from where it was placed. We thought it had been muggled. I used the local tracker to find this one, SCH...lol. The cache is the bison tube attached to a water mammal.
A quick find though the coords led me a few mtrs away. Today was some heavy cloud patches prior to the storms tonight. SL, and replaced where I found it . Thanks to K & C for the cache.
I enjoyed the walk along to this one, and was happy to make a quick and easy find. The micro coin is not in this cache and wouldn't fit into this new one anyway.
Thanks for the cache Keego and Chil!

I took longer on this one than I should've....there it was right on coords....startled me when I grabbed it.....thanks again Keego_and_Chil
Out for a little stroll with little B and his little girlfriend before the truck with mulch arrives.....nice quick find. Followed the track along the creek and across for a while, nice place to walk the dogs.

Back today to claim my smiley face after a previous dnf. Can take it off of my watch list now too. Novel camo for way out here, though it made me smile. Thanks Keego and Chil
finally found it !! our 3rd time out. So glad to see it was muggled all those times we did try, as it was eating away at me that we couldn't find it. Just remember to wear enclosed shoes as there are a lot of bull ants on the track. TFTC
My first attempt at this cache was in the dead of winter. I came cross country from Lake Road and was met by a (freezing) river. [xx(] Hmm. Wrong way to approach this one, so will put my tail between my legs and head back from whence I came (and empty handed).
Thought I might just try this one again and it's Melbourne Cup Day (got home early - didn't win). Came at it from the other side of the creek and soon had the cache in hand. Well hidden. Thanks Keego and Chil.

Alas the cache has been muggled, so we have replaced it with a smaller container, more in the Allied Prankster mode of hides.
*** Please rehide the container so it can not be seen***

we look for a while, the geokids went everywhere. cloudy day was messing with our gps as we only use the app that's on our phones will try on a sunny day i think as nearly every other post found it so.quickly. nice little track tho.
Second DNF in a row, and it doesn't help to read that others made a quick find. I was confident that I was in the right place and gave the area a pretty thorough going over. Zilch. Then I went back to the car, reread the logs, grabbed the second gps, and went back to try again. Am I blind or what??? Will watch and see when someone else makes a find on this one. Thanks Keego and Chil

Relatively quick find with OOH YEH~ Nice area to take a walk! Thanks Keego and Chil!
Nice walk along to the cache - no horse on the track today - signed the log. Thanks Keego & Chil.
Out and about on a long overdue caching run in the deep South fortunately accompanied by Everlasting.
It seemed quite odd, to be tackling this cache after having just been in company with Keego and ShortCutHicksy himself.
Neverthe less it was next on the list so off we went. Well after 3 false starts thanks to TomTom we finally managed to navigate our way in and a quick find by Everlasting was made.

Out for a few hours doing some caches in the area. After finding the first cache to the north I came here to find this one. Found in the obvious spot even though the GPS had me on the track next to it.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Hi to Everyone,
Thank you to all my caching friends and especially Keego and Chil for this cache. I’m struggling to walk at the moment with a bad back so thank you to all the local cachers who allowed me to have *FTF* on my celebratory cache. I had to take Judy with me to do the searching and bending although it was my favourite type of cache, in the bush, large size and easy to find, what else could you ask for.
When we first moved to this area over 30 year ago we rode the horses along all these bridle tracks and through the bush. Walking down the bridle path from Mustang Road took us back to those early times.
I dropped off "Duck! and Family's Found it! Micro Geocoin".
Thanks again Keego and Chil, I really appreciate your gesture.
Graham.
