This was our first attempted cache on the final leg of our Adelaide-Sydney-Adelaide road trip, but like previous searchers, we found nothing. There's a nice little niche in the tree where a cache would be right at home, but I'd say it's been taken by non-geocaching types.
Called past hoping to get this one? Not Today! Searched for 10 minutes pretty sure I found where a cache this size should be located But not today !
So a DNF for kingfisherau !

Left Swan Hill this morning and found this one. Now for morning tea in the sun and then off to Balranald.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Camping up the wakool River with the Murtoa fishing club and decided to go to the pub by River for a few more beers while there I grabbed this cache as it was so close.
Found with the geo-son on day 2 of our drive to Adelaide. A great spot indeed and the pub looks good as well. Dipped all TBs thru for milage. Many thanks CharlieMike1

Heading from Swan Hill to Forbes via Balranald for work had me grabbing a few caches on the way.
I was introduced to caching by Gonefishen07, so when I saw this cache was on the way north I had to grab it. Quick find, nice spot!!!

Quiet little place we a few Macadamia trees down the road, no time to fish for a fish but we did land a cache TFTC CharlieMike1
So glad no one was using the boat ramp , thus enabling us to locate the cache quickly. Thanks
We came to Qld to attend the mega and after we headed of to Kingaroy for a couple of days but now we slowly make the trip back to Adelaide grabbing caches along the way, we thank all those hid caches for us to find along our journey back.TFTC
On the map it looked like the road went over the river, not through the river! Once we got to the right side it was a quick find. Thanks for showing us another great river spot, and for the hide.
Our last find for the day. A quick find and admire of the river, then off to find a camping spot for the night.

A quick find at GZ even though there was a muggle at the waters edge collecting water samples. On our way from Mildura to Swan Hill via Balranald today. TFTC
thought those things in the distance were water slides... But alas - they were not... Nice spot but. Thanks CM1.

Sully1 and I stopped here for lunch, and of course the cache. Such a pretty spot on the river, and nice to remember your grandad too in such a nice way. Good onya Jack, guessing you landed a few nice cod here too.
Thanks CharlieMike1
Thanks CharlieMike1
Found with Bogonghazy on our trip from Ballarat taking in the Wedderburn events weekend, Swan Hill, Moulamein, Balranald and then across to Mildura. We managed to find the cache, and decided it was a good spot to make lunch and enjoy the views at the same time. That we did, before heading on our way again. Thanks to CharlieMike1, a lovely tribute to Grandad.
WOW, we are the lucky number 50 and so we took the scratchie and have been fortunate enough to win $2.00, thankyou. We left the motorhome on the other side of the river as we had missed the turnoff and took the car to the cache. What a lovely little spot. T 1 x TB and 1 x Scratchie TFTC
As it is nearing the 50th visit, we have placed a scratchie for the next person to find. Goodluck and thank you to everyone for visiting
There is a scratchie for the 50th to find. Was unsure how to log this so I had to mark as found it to write note. Think I've figured it out now though. Anyway.. Goodluck and thank you for visiting.
3341. Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1445. There was a vehicle and trailer parked on the ramp so made sure that we were alone before walking down then having made the find. We left a Geo Coin. SL Tnx CharlieMike1

#5529 We're heading over to Murray Bridge fro the 2014 Oz Mega and, as is our way, decided on some "driver reviver" caches en route to keep us bright eyed and bushy tailed. This was another area we'd passed through many times on our trips to Central Australia however we've never taken the time to stop. There was a Hilux & trailer parked in the boat ramp but aside from that GZ was all quiet. Caught a glimpse of the container which was found to be in good condition. Passed this cache many times, glad to be able to say its found now. Our thanks to CharlieMike1 for bringing us to this place we probably would never have otherwise visited. The river looks lovely today. Cheers [^]
An easy find in a lovely spot. People fishing nearby so still a favourite spot for them TFTC CharlieMike1
Found this one with jojo777 on our roadtrip through Australia. A quick stop on our journey. Happy to make a quick find here.

Blimey, it was a like 'Bourke Street meets the Edward River' at the time of my visit with Dylan 7a. Craft of all types being launched on what I thought would be a 'quiet' Sunday afternoon. I can see why this is a popular location. The River setting is marvelous and with the nearby Kyalite Pub what more could you ask? I had been to the Pub on a few occasions after watching Aussie Rules at Balranald but never had the opportunity to nab this cache which was quickly found thanks to the excellent co-ordinates.
I can see why the cache owner claims this as a favourite fishing location. Mind you the District generally looked a treat following spring rains and the River is not always as full.
May I add that meal or a drink at the Pub is highly recommended. The interior of the main bar is a hoot!
Thank you to 'CharlieMike1' for the cache and its location. TNLN. With Dylan 7a.

Thought it might be difficult to sneak up on this one, with 2 ute loads of fishermen launching their boats, but they were too involved to notice me.
Counted the steps and made the find.TFTC

a quick easy find on our holiday fron Queensland -- the fishing here must be good if the number of boats in the water is any indication
thanks for the cache CharlieMike1

Quick find on a detour from Tooleybuc back to Swan Hill. Quite a few boat trailers in the car park today - lets hope the fish were biting. No fishermen to be sighted though, so we had a hassle free find.
Quick find.

Have stopped here before, & thought it would be a great spot for a cache. Thanks for beating us, it would be hard for us to maintain!!

Found as part of the record run to SA by The Demolition Crew (TDC). While, I am not a member of the TDC, I was fortunate enough to be caching with Blacklegend, Quasar3671, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts on what was for me, a huge adventure.
As I live with Blacklegend, it was fantastic when he said "Do you want to come to South Australia on a huge caching trip". I jumped at the chance, as I'd never been to S.A. or Adelaide, and it was a fantastic feeling to know I was going to be part of something big, and I was.
To be part of the Australian 24 hour record, at such an early stage in my caching career, so to speak, and part of so many other finds, was experience building beyond anything I could have hoped for.
****************
After a huge trip, we finally headed home Thursday, a different way than we headed to SA. We only picked up a few caches, but one of them was A Great Aussie Icon Hunt 4.1, which was fantastic.
****************
Due to the extremely high number of finds for the trip, and on Blacklegend's advice and with his assistance, I have also gone with the generic logs. As the others have stated, it in no way takes away from the fantastic and enjoyable hides we found on the trip. As Blacklegend and the other have said, my sincere thanks to all cache owners who placed and maintain their caches, and made this trip possible for our group. TFTC, memories and the experience.

Found as part of the Demolition Crew record run to South Australia with fellow TDC members Quasar3671, Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and a guest on the trip, Poynts95.
The trip was a fair while in the making, and many aspects had to align to make it happen, including all of us getting the time to go. However, the "stars aligned" so to speak for us, and the trip was on. A date was set and much planning engaged, and when I say much, I mean a very large amount. We had an old saying where I used to work, and that was "Failing to be prepared, is being prepared to fail", so, we prepared, and prepared and prepared.
With a challenge set, being, could The Demolition Crew find over 500 caches in 24 hours, we headed forth to South Australia, the magical land of power trails, and over the duration of the trip, found in excess of 1250 caches, and indeed, easily beat the goal on our record day. Importantly too, we had a great time together.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The final day of the trip, and time to head home, only a few finds made on the way back, including an Aussie Icon hunt cache in Adelaide. I headed back to my home a different way that I arrived, this time heading due west, picking up some finds along the way to break up the drive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the extremely high number of finds for the trip, I am opting for a generic log, which I never normally do, but as the others have stated, it in no way detracts from the high quality of hides we found on the trip. My sincere thanks to all cache owners who placed and maintain their caches, and made this trip possible for our group. You have all been part of the best caching road trip we have yet made. TFTC and the memories.

Great fishing spot but we weren't after fish today but a cache. We had the area to ourselves for a quick find. Judging by the debris up the boat ramp the river has been high recently.
Despite passing by here many a time over the years to and from Adelaide to Newcastle we had never made a detour off the highway until today. TFTC.

ADE12. This was one of a few little detours on the way to Adelaide. Plenty of water in the river, but no threat to the cache. Thanks.
