After numerous DNFs and not response from the CO after a request for maintainence it looking pretty obvious this one needs to go.
We were in the CBD on foot taking in the sights and sounds of Cairns and this was one of the GZ's we came upon in our travels. Unfortunately we have to add our name to the growing list of DNF's here, we checked the fenceline and couldn't find anything remotely cache like. Being the middle of the week there were cars parked in the enclosure so we didn't want to linger around here any longer than necessary. Thanks anyway Team Amundsen.
Logging as a find as it is obviously well gone and missing and has not been maintained
Like previous. DNF. It looks like a newish fence will send photo... showing where it "was'. I have seen quite a few of this type ...applicable for it to be used a fishing area since probe. fishing line or similar used in its suspension.

A new fence and a working man next to it, so we were not able to look very good. Greetz from the Netherlands.
I think the cache is missing.. there has been some renovation and the fence looks brand new and no no cache box anywhere Took couple photos of place, will upload them later...
Visiting this place, but there was an event at the place around.
So i took a fotolog.
Greetings from germany.

The log has kindly been replaced by local helper walterhellmut.

Nice and quick find. Was confused initially as there was something there which I thought was sure to be the cache but when I looked under it, it wasn't. The log was full so have added another piece of paper which should be good for another 10 or 15 entries.

The cache is in good condition probably because it is in a nice snug area and out of the water.
Having given up looking for Fig Tree cache as there was a lone muggle and child there, we wandered down to find this cache soon spotted by BB tftc
I knew it had to be small upon arrival, and I soon saw something out of place. TFTC!
Not a soul around maybe the rain was keeping them all inside or else in the pub either way it made my task easier and as I was approaching from the best direction I could see the cache from a good few feet away I had to start using the back of the log sheet as front is full but no panic yet, The cache is in good state TFTC Chingola
Found it today with an old hag, wiliamelia&co and weststigerskid. Log was wet and couldnt get it out so took a photo of both cache and cache placement as proof of find today.
After hiring a bike to check out cairns and do a some caching. 3rd one for the day.
There are a pair of what in south africa we call kiwiets nesting in the area, and they will not allow anyone to approach, resorting to flying straight at you if you get too close.
Cairns January 2014. Between dive trips on my trip to Cairns I hired a car and went for a drive. A very hot and sweaty day, that was made possible by air conditioning ! I missed the carpark and walked over from the main road. Almost too far. Happily everything was in a logical spot and I was soon on my way. Thanks.

After checking out of our apartment, we still had some time to kill before our flight left to Brisbane. So jhisch and I went looking for some caches (bags could fortunately be left at the reception desk), and found this one.

Tftc. Needs new log. It was almost unable to sign it so we signed somewhere in between other logs.
Found this while cruising Great Barrier Reef, did need new log , if it has been replaced great we have just returned from holiday , reason for late entery 14/12/13 TFTC
We had a slow start today. DNF the first two and finally we are on our way. Thanks from Canada.
Nesting birds attacked when I got too close, be warned! I had to make a running departure.
Very sad that people cannot record there moment of triumph as the log is completely full.
6 of 6 today with gorgeous grandson. Thanks to others logs I was ready for the circuitous route required to reach the GZ. However it is very sad that people who overcome all the hazards to find this cache cannot record their moment of glory as the log is full. Managed only to try and scribble date in a tiny space. Beaut hide tho. TFTH
We went for a walk on the esplanade today and found this one very quickly.

I dropped by this cache on the way to register for the conference I had come to Cairns for. I didn't see the "dangerous birds" mentioned in the previous logs but I did see the tiny cache after a quick look around GZ. I retrieved the cache and just managed to find a spot on the full logsheet to sign at 2:20 pm. TNLN.
Thanks Team Amundsen for the well-hidden cache and for showing me the magnificent Cairns Convention Centre. I thought it was such a creatively designed building that I took the accompanying photo of it. Unfortunately I didn't have time to have a look inside this award winning building.

Found this one at 17:20 while waiting for the welcome function to start. A nice, easy one thanks to the good coordinates. The logsheet is mighty full but I was able to find a spot halfway along the roll.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Team Amundsen.

Easy find in good shape, Chinese muggle parked nearby getting haircut which was a laugh for us too!
AS per our found log, the log scroll is totally full and needs replacing. WE carry spare notebooks, but nothing the size needed to fit a micro.
Went looking to dispose of a geocoin we have brought back from Canada, but far too many people on the Esplanade near Walter's Osprey and in the Figtree Playground. If we had the grandkids with us it would have been different. Anyway, we decided we had to get one cache for the afternoon so chose this one. Had to sign over the top of another signature which was in red and signed with our initials only (B & B) TFTC Log is full.
Took me a few minutes to spot once at GZ. Didn't have a pen bit as others have said, log full anyway. Attach pic of GZ. TFTC
A quick find while out for a morning walk. As mentioned by previous finders the log is full and needs replacing.

Brought along a few of my trackables for a visit.

Found at the same time as a keen young geocacher. There was just enough room for us both to sign (barely legible). Needs a new log.
Trobat! Fount it!
Little cache in nice town!
Thank you for this cache.

Our last day in Cairns deserves another cache. While I was still locating exact GZ my wife called me "got it".
Luckily but also quick.

Found while visiting from the South Coast of WA. Took the opportunity for a bike ride and find a few of caches along the way. Easy find.
In town for work and this was just down the road. Saw the cache immediately so an easy find.
Sneaky little sucker. My beautiful Geowife provided the distraction to the worker muggles hanging about whilst we grabbed this one.
