First one for the day. Looked for a good 10 mins. No luck here.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thought we'd take advantage of the nice autumn day today and make a start on this series. We had to watch out for packs of older cyclists in yellow jerseys, some of who were a bit rude! We also found that most of our DNF's were located in areas where Muggles tend to walk the path. It was a good day out which started out with us riding from our home to Warnbro Station and getting off at Bull Creek where we rode to Mt Henry Bridge to start from the beginning. We then rode to Cockburn Central collecting finds along the way and decided to stop here as the GeoKids were a combination of hangry and tired. Had something to eat (at 4pm!) and jumped on the train back to Warnbro Station. Our caching ride took us 4 hours. We had 29 and 7 DNF . We will endeavour tackle the next part once the the kids can be convinced to go out again LOL! Thank you for the series!

1st cache looked for today, a bit disappointing after dragging the kids all this way from the Bullcreek train station. Hopefully our luck will improve from here.

I am trying to complete a challenge which says that I must have found 100 caches each day of the month. Because not all months have 31 days I ended up needing 37 caches today. I identified this power trail as the perfect place to cache from my home in Cyprus and I wasn't too disappointed. There were a few DNFs (mainly towards the end of the day when we were hot and bothered) but I still neared my goal. Then tonight we are off to a geocache event and I might even find a few more caches to reach it.

Unless otherwise mentioned all caches were found easily and in good condition.

Funnily enough, this one was an initial DNF. As usual, a few caches from a CO is often needed to work out where they are likely to hide them and that was the case today. Having caught a train from Cockburn Central to Bull Creek we passed here on our way back to the car for a very quick find. TFTC and a favourite point for all your hard work keeping this up.

Decided to get energetic today and get some smileys on the infamous Periodic Table Caches! Headed out early with [@Reborn995](http://coord.info/PRD2HY1) and began a four hour walk along the Highway finding caches left right and center with only a couple of unfortunate DNF’s along the way! We had managed to find our 600th Cache during the adventure too, which was awesome! All in all it was a great day with perfect weather and lots of smileys!!! Thanks For The Caches!!!

TFTC BlaKids. myself, hheddy and lazarus78 completed the whole series today on pushbikes. took 7hours and it was great to have completed them in 1 hit. Thanks for the series and most caches were good, some were damp and 1 needs replacing as it was a soggy mess, which was Lanthanum.
Thanks again.

I have been looking at the periodic table series of caches for some time now. Since I have decided to complete a challenge I need the numbers hence the reason for the run today. I took the day off work and co=opted a couple of fellow cachers, Lazarus_68 and Dezzabills. I thought a couple of days would finish the series off, So today we set off early on our pushbikes with the idea of completing as many as we could manage. As it turns out we made it all the way to the end. We were very fortunate to find the caches quicker than expected. So to sum up the day we found 117 caches in the periodic table and a couple of extras along the way giving me a grand total of 119 for the day. Not bad if I say so myself, and surprisingly there were no DNF's so all in all a great day. The ride down from home in Como took us 6 hours and 58 minutes. While my fellow cachers took the train home I toughed it out and rode home in just over 2 hours. We stopped several times down and back for a break and a bite to eat to refuel the bodies.

This was the first find of 119 for the day and was found at 8:48AM Thanks BlaKids for the cache. hhheddy

I’ve wanted to do this periodic table of elements power trail since 2013, but didn’t have the means to do it. Now, I have the TBE model MB2200 mountain bike Smile! I’ve counted there are currently 117 elements (including place markers for element 113 and element 115) in this power trail. A favourite point is in order here for the effort of creating and maintaining of all the elements in this trail. I also like the naming of the elements by BlaKids by giving each element its atomic number (number of protons) making tracking of the elements systematically down the trail. TFTH BlaKids and loubla.

Out enjoying a bike ride down alongside the freeway. Interesting seeing so many test tubes, and for most part easy finds. TFTC series!!

19-Apr-16
I planned a trip to grab some of these Freeway caches today. I brought the bike and parked on Farrington and planned to ride to Mount Henry Bridge. Most of the caches were quick finds, with the odd one or two giving me trouble. A nice and quick power trail.
BlaKids, I found your cache ‘Hydrogen - Periodic Table’ today. It was the twentieth find of twenty-five finds (so far) with one DNF and brings my total count to 461. The cache was found in a good condition so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. Thanks for the hide. A few caches were broken, but I don't remember which ones. This is a generic log.

This is a new recored for my most caches in a day.

We are on a mission to reach 2999 before the Leap Year event in a week's time and needed 50 caches, so decided to hit the Periodic power trail and see how many we could get done in the time available. We were fortunate to have a cool day with an occasional refreshing mist / drizzle which made the cycling a pleasant experience for a February day. Made it from Mt Henry bridge to Cockburn Central in the time allotted so we were well pleased with our efforts.
We found the series in good repair with only 1 broken container (Germanium) and 1 full log (Argon) which unfortunately we didn't have spares today. Will carry some when we do the next stage south.
Thanks BlaKids & LouBla for an enjoyable morning's caching Big Grin.

Thanks for the cache BlaKids [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry Cool.

This was find # 1 of 40 Smile and 0 Sad today giving us a total cache count of 2951.

Decided to spent last day before starting new job with something rewarding - geocaching.
So I decided to start with this powertrail. It was a hot day, so I did portion only. The rest will be done later.

Up in Perth for a week from Albany, this trail was number one on the list of things to do. Starting in Perth and riding south we managed to find most caches in the series with only 4 that we couldn't find! We had some test tubes of our own which we replaced with some of the more broken containers but unfortunately didn't have enough to replace them all. Thanks for the epic series guys and also for maintaining them so well!

With the wife and daughter away at school camp and me up earlier than usual to drop off the lad at school, I decided to make the most of the week of annual leave I’m on and get some finds in on as many days as I can.

This is day four of my week of caching and having done from Farrington Road down south to the end of the series, the top half has been a blight of green on my map for years.

The plans to turn them all yellow today fell afoul of the weather a couple of DNFs and time.

As my previous finds on this series I found the cords to be pretty spot on and most finds were as I pulled up and spotted that suspicious pile of wood or rocks. The real easy ones were those completely out in the open, I replaced them in the likely spot and covered of course.

I failed at a few on the ride towards the city and had to abandon my plans to search again on the way back.

After such a good run, now two in a row,, DNF ugh.

Thanks to BlaKids & LouBla once again for a great (long) series. I will find them all eventually..

Given a whole day to go caching in Perth the inner scientist in Freddo could not resist the geeky awesomeness of a Periodic Table PT. With bicycle supplied by .K.B. I travelled by train to Kwinana and folllowed the trail of elements from one end to the other. The cache finds ranged from seen as I arrived, to hides that have me looking for twice the 3 minutes I had allowed. Some caches were replaced. A few caches were unfound and will stand as DNF's.
I know these elements. My job as a metallurgist means that I deal with a large portion of the common 92 at work. There was a sense of pride reeling them off. And then there was the joy of cruising along on a bike on a beautiful winter day that actually feels like an Indian summer.

This cache was found using a Garmin GPSr, Montana 650t, Oregon 550 or Dakota 20. Waypoints and paperless geocaching downloaded via GSAK 8.

Day fifty seven of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
We loaded up the deadly treadlies after dropping the car off for it's service in Fremantle and hit the Periodic Table Series trail at Bull Creek. We worked our way south until we came to where we had finished up a month ago (about #66), then jumped the train at Kwinana for the trip back to Bull Creek. We then completed the last four elements heading north to Perth.
Unfortunately a large collection of DNFs, and one replacement container, and a few replacement logs.
Lovely day for a ride though, and (apart from the DNFs) loved the trail.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8260. Day 2 of our week in Fremantle and Rob's car is in for a service at Melville. We decided to try to finish off the Periodic Table series that we started in late April, by riding down the trail to Kwinana Station and catching the train back to Bull Creek Station before riding back to the Ford Dealer. It turned out to be a 38km day, not altogether successful with 57 smilies and frustratingly, 10 DNFs.

We replaced a couple of logs and one container, but some of the other logs have got rather damp and are looking mouldy and a big time-worn although generally there are plenty of spots left for signing.

Thanks loubla

Danee44 and I decided what better way to start the work day than a walk and to make a start on the periodic table series along yhe freeway. an early start meant we should be able to do this top section and still get to work on time Smile

This took a bit longer due to the leaf litter here but I narrowed in on the likely location and found the prize.

I'm Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.
