I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[blue]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can . . . . . . . and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 . . . . . . . . . I have disabled it for you . . . . . . this time! [^]

Please respond to this situation by 30th January to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. Sad If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.[/blue]

After a really big scare at the CAC Wirraway cache, Kato Potato and I ran-walked to this one to regroup. Using a torch-app, I spotted the hide and found the wire that the previous finders had placed there (so so many thanks!). I tried to do the extracting myself but Kato Potato ended up having the skills necessary. TFTC Nautilus7497.

I quickly narrowed down where I needed to look and shining my torch I could see it but couldn't get to it. Thanks for the hide Nautilus7497 .

We had come to Moe with Micaparamedic to try for a FTF on a nearby cache and after being successful there we decided to look for a few more caches before we headed for home.
We looked for this one for about 15 minutes with no joy but with so many places for a micro to hide we weren't that surprised. We rang a previous finder who pointed us in the direction of the cache and even with detailed instructions we couldn't originally see the cache but a short time later we did spy it. After spending half an hour or so trying to manufacture a tool to aid it's extraction with no luck we decided that we had to go and purchase some items to enable us to do this. That took a visit to two shops but by now we were determined not to leave without adding our names to the log.
We pulled back up near gz and though oh no, muggles but it was soon apparent that they were also cachers and we were soon saying hello to schotje27.
Nearly an hour and half after first arriving we finally added our names to the log. We then did a bit of modifying the hidey hole so that the cache will not again be out of reach.
Thanks Nautilus7947 for the cache.

11-Jan-14
What a day!! After really getting ready to throw the GPS under a train or something, two people coming towards us and telling us you need a very long extraction tool!!!! And he had made one!!! And this is how we met half of team Crackers, and Micaparamedic!!!
With his very long extraction tool, it was easy, and now a normal extraction tool will do the job!!!!

23-Nov-13
Found the right spot but the cache is no longer accessible with anything shorter than a 3ft length of wire.

06-Nov-13
Found it! Tricky to get out! Recommend bringing wire! Good job baringaexplorers!

31-Oct-13
- Intercepted by the police! When doing this at midnight, hunched over with a friend can look a bit mischievousness!

Climbed the tree thinking it might be up there, nope! Found it eventually can't believe I missed it, be sure to use the little wire. You'll know it when you see it.

21-Oct-13
On our cache a day until we decide to stop this cache deserved a look into. As I had lately been at a couple of tricky retrieval caches I thought i would look at this one. I arrived at the cache location and the light rain played well as there was little activity around from muggles.
it was clear what the dilemma was and I had just what was needed. using the right equipment it took a few minutes before the cache was safely in my hands.

I retreated to the car to sign the log and took a few photos. Once I had logged this cache I had a good look around the site in the hope i may find a tiny piece of metal that could be used as a magnetic attraction in the future but no such luck (this could be a possible idea on this one in the future).
The cache has been put back closer to the end, however it still needs a tool to remove it.

I have included a photo of the log sheet which does raise a few questions of past finders, as the guidelines do say you need to sign the log book/sheet for a find, but i will leave that to the conscious mind logger.

Our thanks to Nautilus7497 for the cache and the challenge.

Regards

A guy & a girl - 13 Towns - 500 kms - 60 caches

September Stroll was born earlier in the week with an idea hatched to head in a loop towards Sale starting from Moe. Heading north up to Heyfield, across to Stratford then down to Sale before arriving home late, it was a magnificent spring day to enjoy East Gippsland.

Found the cache eyeballed it but couldn't retrieve, too deep too stuck!! We will be back when its accessible again.

Thanks for the cache Nautilus7497!!!

Day 115; cache 115. It is sad seeing all the abandoned houses around moe. At least it gives a good excuse for a cache! TFTC!

Second time at this one as last time I was here the renovating mugglers where here all out the front so I had to leave for another day and today was it found it in the first place I looked but couldn't get it out so I went back to my van and got a pair of wire cutters to cut a bit of wire of the fence so I could retrieve it. I have left the new retrial tool hung on the fence at gz so the next finders will be able to retrieve it from now on. Sl thanks Nautilus for the cache.

# 5454 Found on a trip back from Morwell to check out the caches there.
Found this spot and read the previous logs, so had to check it out.
Nice and quiet and no muggles around while I was here.
It looks like someone is actually renocvating the old structure, so it may not be abandoned any more.
Quickly found the hidey hole and got the trusty retrieval tool out of the toolkit.
Hooked onto it the first time and out it came, amazingly with no trouble at all.
All those who said it could not be retrieved were not really having a proper attempt.
With the right tool for the job, it can be retrieved easily, especially now it has been replaced in an easier to get to spot. All fixed now and ready for the next team to have a go. TFTC Nautilus7497,
Roostaman.

22-Feb-13
Was given the go ahead to log this as a find after an email to nautilus. Will try again though to see if we can get the log out. Fingers crossed!!

13-Feb-13
Well we found it but could not get it out so sent an email and was given permission to log it as found.
It seems someone is trying to restore the inside of the building and if they do a good job it may be returned to its former glory.
Regards

So far in its hidey hole it won't come out, even with the improvised 'cache grabber' on the fence. Will have another go tomorrow, but its pretty far in.

Used an extraction tool, and rescued the cache. All has been put together again. So sad to see this school in such a state, would be nice to see it used for something rather to watch it fall down

Found by Mary & David at 1715. Wonder if the damage started with a fire? There are a few signs of fire damage here and there. A huge area not being used. Guess it had once been a Catholic school complex? Our thanks to Nautilus7497.

This was one of 7 found with PTC on our way back home. It'd been a big weekend.. We stayed so some private land near Boola, and had been 4x4ing most weekend.. however all good things must come to an end.. these were found on the way back.. We were both glad to be on solid ground and also glad for a shot series of drive bys... Find #3128

11-Nov-12
Found this with Spladem. We made up a tool to help retrieve the cache and attached it to the fence nearby. Its the same wire as the fence so blends in.

06-Nov-12
Was going to grab this cache but there was a family cleaning up the front of the building and they where eye balling me before I even got out of my van so will have to grab this one anoyher day.
Hope they dont disturb the cache as they where cleaning up right where gz was.

Today I didn't have my Leatherman with me, but needed it. Tried to improvise tools from locally available items, but they didn't work. Getting your fingers to a cache container doesn't count ! As I was leaving, an elderly man appeared and headed off into the abandoned building. How weird.

TB "Scrat" visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

19-Jul-12
I was in Moe today, as this was close to where I was heading, I stopped to find it.

It took a bit to remove it from its hide.

This building and its surrounds was once Presentation Collage, it was sold to a redeveloper, who seemed to take forever to do anything with it. They have started doing small bits at a time; the roof has only just been repaired after it had been damaged from arson.
