2/6/2024 Find #7033Adventure Day with KBreeAHH and Captain Terror. They had decided to be kind to me as I was still on injury recovery and choose a flat location for todays wanderings. Or so they said. Well look, to be fair, most of it was flat I guess. And the injury withstood the test throughout the rest of it, so I cant complain too much. Much less heading off track for this one, it didnt take long to find the cache where paper perhaps beat rock here at some stage in the past. Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.

It's a day in the calendar where I'm free; as are 1MinnieMoo and KBreeAhh. Preferably not a big adventure, I submit and then lock in a stroll around hunting for some rats and rabbits. Oddly enough I have found nearly all of them, but not all. I remember when it was a popular place to come visit for a day of bush and geocaching and despite being less than 10km from home, just managed to keep overlooking it.Late in the morning the three of us arrive at Longton Ct and head into the trails. The previous had been a bit of a bush-bash off track, but this was a lot lesser detour. Good, as I am sure there are now more prickles in my geocaching shoes poking my toes!Arriving at GZ, I was in the lead and it took me a fraction of a second to spot the hide.I rolled it out and showed the others. The logbook was signed at 11:25. It's clear the container has not aged well, but I can imagine at day 0 it was super clever! I reassembled it as best I could and replaced as found. We'd go on to walk a pretty long circuit via a lot of icons, but there are just five I have yet to turn into a smiley, so it's a while after here until I make another find. But that's ok as there's plenty to see and chat about. Thanks for this geocache, TMRabbit Smile

Another Sunday afternoon in the south east part of town, and the dog and I decided to continue finding rabbits. This cache was not a quick find like the last one. I wandered a little thinking that I had seen some camouflage, but it was just fallen bark. So it was back to the posted coordinates. From there I stood and surveyed the area, looking for anything that was slightly out of place. I did spy something that demanded further investigation.A nice cache hide, and there was the tube as described in the cache listing. All good here, the cache was signed and returned. Thanks very much for placing this cache TMRabbit. Cheers

Great cache. Thankfully didn’t take to long to find. Very clever.

Today was a beautiful day and I decided I was going to go for a bike ride in the bush to get all of the caches in this forest. Well, that didn’t happen but I looked for 10 and found 8 so more towards my count for the Wheel of Challenges. I was slowed down by horses. Apparently you are not allowed to ride in this place. Fair enough as it scares the horses. But the gate I went through near Rabbit Trap 1 had no signs other than to look out for koalas.

I was in this park for nearly 2 hours. I kept coming across horses and sour looks from riders. I would have to stop and wait for them to pass. Or keep a 100m distance behind them and they were not trotting! Mind you, I would find a track that said no horses allowed and get excited, but then would come across horses! This thwarted my progress and my enthusiasm. Now I only have half of them and need to find the rest on foot one day. Perhaps the attributes could be updated to help future cachers.

Clever idea. I saw this odd thing in the bush and straight away hoped it was the cache. I was in luck. Favourite point awarded for the effort in making something different.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I needed to pop over to MacKenzie for an errand, and we then decided to use our new baby carrier in walking a section of Brisbane Koala Bushlands, picking up a few of the rabbit series (Rabbit Trap, Tricky Rabbit, Rat Plague, etc.).
After our long walk, Garden City Shopping Centre was our next stop where we had lunch and did some shopping, and then I decided to make my own way home, stopping at a few geocaches within the vicinity and around Mount Gravatt. I did manage to get a find a few more oldies from Mimosa Creek's geocaches, with M1 certainly being quite the adventure.

With so many Favourite Points, I was keen to see if we could walk past this geocache today, and as it turned out, we had an extended walk detouring past this location. This cache took a few minutes in looking around, and it turned out to be very nicely camouflaged and hidden away. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. There were plenty of ants and eggs that came flooding out as I opened it. Unfortunately in the geocache's current state, it doesn’t appear to nicely go back together, but despite this issue, it isn't too obvious. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

After finding the cache I looked at Mrs Woodyrothwell who was lined up to take a selfie. I thought I would photo-bomb it but it was only my ugly face in the photo when it was developed. I asked if we could take the photo again so I didn’t have to charge her for royalties but instead she decided to make us push on. tftc

Saturday. Que Sera and I arrived at GZ and read a few previous logs. Looks like this one will be a toughy to find! I sat down (as a previous finder did). I looked around and tried another seat. Hmm, nothing to spot around here. I got up and walked around the back end and Bingo! Look at that! I reckon that could be a cache container Smile A really fantastic looking and well constructed cache container. A FP dropped out as I left this cache Razz

This was the 7th of 28 caches found on this outing.

Thanks ***TMRabbit*** for showing us this place Razz

Mrs slow puncture and I decided to hit the trails here and we thoroughly enjoyed finding the caches here. It was great that they were all so different and we didn't know what to expect .all up I found 20 caches and revisited 11. We only had one dnf and the co was quick to help and allowed me to put down a replacement. Will be giving a few FP's away. I had read alot of logs last night for this cache and knowing this one would be difficult I was armed with info. However alot of the logs led us astray and we went around in circles for ages before Mrs slow puncture spotted this crafty cache. Definitely a FP from me. Thankyou.

Yesterday when I was down chasing High points for Cache Carnival. Checking parks next door saw there were some unloved caches. Decided to come back today to chase unloved caches. After our first find Chasingadventures and I move on to the next cache. We look around saw some likely hides. Was found by looking up for once’s and was found. TFTC TMRabbit #749 D3

I woke up early this morning thanks to my fur kids wanting brekky lucky I love them . I thought why not head out to get a head start on my day collecting high point geocaches for Cache Carnival . This was my target cache this morning and my primary reason for visiting the reserve. I was glad I spotted something out of the ordinary almost immediately . I called over Brislions to check out the workmanship. Signed the log and replaced as found. Tftc

26-Mar-19
With a new cadre of souvenirs available during the Cache Carnival promo, today we planned to target caches which have a handful of faves (and simultaneously get some good exercise!) by riding around and tidying up the caches we've yet to find in the big bang, rabbit and rat series.

A very clever rabbit created this one, fine workmanship indeed. Quite a few ants are calling this one home now!

Adding another fave as it is well deserved

What a beauty! _Mud_Blood_ was certainly impressed!!! Geocaches like these really create sparkles in my eyes. Thank you for creating such a lovely cache for us to find. TFTC!

24-Aug-18
Raced out and got this one before it gets archived. Got there and found a clean dry cache and log, still with plenty of places to sign but added a few sheets so the archived hunters have something to sign.

It is refreshing to find a cache that is something other than a mint tin or plastic container and this was one where a bit of work and creativity had gone into making it. I would have given it a favourite point if it hadn't been on death row.

Its a pity caching has suddenly become an act of grabbing what is about to be archived for no reason in case it turns out to be something required for a challenge at a later date.
Hmmm, thats not much fun, more like work than a game n not what I and others are paying a premium membership for either! Sad

18-Aug-18
Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Out and about with geobuddies today. Need some exercise and catch up moments. Had a wonderful day. Forecast was meant to be stormy and windy around lunchtime but we're lucky to dodge the bad weather.

We cut across the bush for this one. Quite hard. But we loved this cache. Worth the hardship and a Favotite Point.

Ne'er have I been so low on favourite points - but it would be plain rude not to favourite this one.

I approached this one all wrong. My smartphone stopped me in an odd area. I decided to try and approach again. This time my GZ was different - and this time I spotted the clever prize. "A" for effort on this one, Mr TMRabbit. I signed the log and re-hid the cache as found.

Now, this was a refreshing little find whilst out on this adventure.

It was great to see a geocache with a bit of a twist put on it and a Geocacher getting creative. For that creativeness that matches this location so perfectly, I think I might just part with a Fav Point!

This cache was part of a lone-wolf adventure through this awesome part of the world.

I was just having one of those days... You know the ones, where you just wake up and have a craving to get outside and hunt a few smiles! I was just in need of a little alone time with Mother Nature and to waste time with Father Time, allowing me to balance myself and revitalize.

That that is just what I did today, wandered around and got lost in the wilderness that was this reserve.

Thank you TMRabbit for being part of my day by providing this geocache for me to find!

We were heading further into this lovely bush-land, and along the way found ourselves missing the tracks. We arrived at this one, after heading cross country, and meandering our way through the bushy woodlands. We loved the walk today!

A nice afternoon hike in the Koala Bushland today to grab a few more Tricky Rabbits that I had started a few months ago. This time I turned right to follow the trail to gather Stray Rabbit, Tricky Rabbit 4 and Tricky Rabbit 3. Another day for Tricky 5 and 6.
Tricky Rabbit 4, wow this cache is cool, nicely done. Still too small in the bush though, no room for swaps. I signed the log gave it a bag only about 5 more small pages to go in the log book. Quick find here and not far from the trail. TFTC TMRabbit

Sorry about another mostly generic log. I was out and about over this way again today and grabbed six caches Big Grin Most of them were found reasonably quickly. There was one gave me a bit of a run around, but now I'm back home logging these, I can't remember which one it was [?]
I did a bit of bush bashing today instead of sticking to the made trails Razz
Anyhow, all log books signed and dated, and all caches returned to their hiding places as found. [^]
All are ready for the next geocacher to trek in here and find them. [8d]
Actually, when I got back to my car there was a vehicle parked near mine today. So I was a wondering if another geocacher had gone in there [?]
Thanks for the cache TMRabbit Smile

Decided on a day of rabbit hunting with KerriMG today.
I spied something that looked a little like cache camo, but a quick look and decided it was just a decoy, but then something caught my eye and I decided I needed to examine that a little more closely and yes there it is. Clever hide.

Needing some exercise, and already coming over this part of the world for other reasons later on tonight, with a few hours to kill I thought it would be good to tag some rabbits and other verminSurprised. Heard good things about this bit of bushland during the week so kitted up and headed out. I decided to take a generally counter-clockwise approach. I was still discovering that every cache today was about 10m from GZ - not sure always in the same compass direction though. Made the adventure today just that bit more interesting - and these tricksy ones .... interesting not the first word to mindTwisted. I ended up walking over 15kms in 5 and a half hours collecting 30 caches. Good effort on my own I do believe.

Thanks for placing this cache, TMRabbit. Found in good condition.
