2/6/2024 Find #7042Adventure Day with KBreeAHH and Captain Terror. They had decided to be kind to me as I was still on injury recovery and choose a flat location for todays wanderings. Or so they said. Well look, to be fair, most of it was flat I guess. And the injury withstood the test throughout the rest of it, so I cant complain too much. Arriving at GZ, I overshot the cache, while KBreeAHH made the find. Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I needed to pop over to MacKenzie for an errand, and we then decided to use our new baby carrier in walking a section of Brisbane Koala Bushlands, picking up a few of the rabbit series (Rabbit Trap, Tricky Rabbit, Rat Plague, etc.).
After our long walk, Garden City Shopping Centre was our next stop where we had lunch and did some shopping, and then I decided to make my own way home, stopping at a few geocaches within the vicinity and around Mount Gravatt. I did manage to get a find a few more oldies from Mimosa Creek's geocaches, with M1 certainly being quite the adventure.
Upon arriving, it looked like that this area has had a recent back-burn, and so I wasn't too optimistic about finding this cache. However after some walking around wondering if this cache was still here, we then managed to find a reasonably clean container. Perhaps a recent replacement in the last few years? The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

An overcast and slightly damp Thursday saw me walking this lovely piece of bush… just me an the birds this morning…
It took me a little while to find the container as I checked all the obvious spots first… put the log into a snap lock bag to give it a little more protection… tftc…

Normally we like to take some photo logs (phlogs) of our day out caching. We normally rely on whatever is around to help us out but the middle of the bush provides little inspiration. There are just so many photos you can take with a stick stuck up your backside (no matter how good it feels). I wonder if they make sticks for bedroom antics. tftc
Big night out last night left the house sleeping in and killed a few hours this morning hunting rats and rabbits

Saturday. Still looking at the burnt out area, we detoured off to grab this cache. Nice quick find for us today and we soon had names in the log. Log and cache were dry and in good condition.
This was the 25th of 28 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***TMRabbit*** for showing us this place

Mrs slow puncture and I decided to hit the trails here and we thoroughly enjoyed finding the caches here. It was great that they were all so different and we didn't know what to expect .all up I found 20 caches and revisited 11. We only had one dnf and the co was quick to help and allowed me to put down a replacement. Will be giving a few FP's away. We were happy to have a quickish find here as we could see the sun starting to go down .Thanks for the fun day
Out for some essential exercise and as it happened I found some geocaches along our deserted track.
When I say our, I can assure CO that we live in the same household so the gathering was very much withing guidelines.
With this one replaced it was an easy find.
Also found a Samsung tablet very close to the cache
Thank you for this cache

I thought I'd finish this series. although it a hot dry day its good to get out and spot some roos and be in the bush
I was in the area yesterday catching up with some of the Rats & rabbits when my Samsung Tab fell out of my backpack.
This cache was missing as the area had been burnt out. Checked the photos when I got home and could see where it as nearly 5 years ago.
A much message to the CO gave me permission to renew the Cache. On my return this morning with RoddyC we replaced and cleaned up the hide. Now ready for other cachers to find.
Sadly I could not find my tab.

Yesterday when I was down chasing High points for Cache Carnival. Checking parks next door saw there were some unloved caches. Decided to come back today to chase unloved caches. After our first find Chasingadventures and I move on to the next cache. This was third DNF for today
I woke up early this morning thanks to my fur kids wanting brekky lucky I love them . I thought why not head out to get a head start on my day collecting high point geocaches for Cache Carnival . Both Brislions and I were keen to check out Tricky Rabbit 6 to inform us what Stray Rabbit looked like! Funnily enough, we also struck out here. Burnt logs were evident but we still thought we’d uncover the cache. Not on this occasion. Thanks anyway! ️
Cleaning up some field notes and found this unlogged -

Glad we found this. It was quite out of the way for us coming in from RP3. NO. 10 for the day. Chikinlittle (7) and chikinlittler (6) are enjoying these horse trails very much. Was a very quick and easy find for us today. TFTC.

Out and about with geobuddies today. Need some exercise and catch up moments. Had a wonderful day. Forecast was meant to be stormy and windy around lunchtime but we're lucky to dodge the bad weather.

This one had me poking around for way tooooo long this morning. Though just as I was starting to worry, the cache revealed itself and I was able to add my name to the log.
This cache was part of a lone-wolf adventure through this awesome part of the world.
I was just having one of those days... You know the ones, where you just wake up and have a craving to get outside and hunt a few smiles! I was just in need of a little alone time with Mother Nature and to waste time with Father Time, allowing me to balance myself and revitalize.
That that is just what I did today, wandered around and got lost in the wilderness that was this reserve.
Thank you TMRabbit for being part of my day by providing this geocache for me to find!

We had missed looking for this one on the way out today, so decided to detour to it on the way back to the car. After reading a log, it was a quick find, and then it was time to head home.

Out and about this morning before heading home for a rest after working a night shift
This one was indeed quite tricky, but more in the case of getting to it. I wound up walking much further as I'd thought I was going to, due to private property being in between me and the cache. That was due to me parking at the end of Jenyn's Court, as on the map that looked like the closest access point [?]
Anyhow, I got there in the end, and a reasonably quick find after my GPSr finally settled for me [^]
The log book was extracted and dutifully signed and dated, and then the cache was replaced back as I had found it. All is in readiness for the next geocacher to trek in here and find this cache for themelves [8d]
Then it was off to grab one more on the way back
Thanks for the cache TMRabbit

With my holidays nearing an end, one last date was set to travel southside before having to rejoin the proletariat. The plan was to eradicate some rabbits and rats, collect some solved puzzles, and grab any others along the way.
Knew what to look for after finding the cache mentioned in the hint. Quick find here.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3188. Thanks **TMRabbit** for bringing us here. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

A very wet day - perfect weather to take the geodog for a walk. Completing this circuit of caches has been on the to do list for a while. After finding border crossing, I took one route thinking I could cut across, but then back tracked to the crossroads and made my way to this one. I was here for ages. I was considering a DNF too! The clue did not help me either. A sit on a log and checked some previous logs. Hmm.. if I check all those spots, and there it was tucked in between a small pile of sticks. TFTC TM Rabbit
Decided on a day of rabbit hunting with KerriMG today, in this beautiful bushland.

Nikid1 & I headed over to the southside today to go for a bushwalk & hunt for some rabbits, rats & foxes.
We came across to this one from Border Crossing & as Nic hadn't saved this one to her phone I was leading the way. We found ourselves on a track that wasn't on my phone but looked like we were heading in the right direction so followed it only to discover that we were now heading away from the cache which left us with a 250m bush bash to get to the cache. Off we headed to try & pick our way up & down a number of gullies to where we should be - we certainly know how to up the terrain rating on a cache, pity it doesn't count!
When we finally arrived at GZ it was another find for Nic even though I was practically on the cache! Log signed & cache replaced as found.

Gotcha !!! A great day of bushland searching in the city with Gullivers Travels 54. TFTC
Needing some exercise, and already coming over this part of the world for other reasons later on tonight, with a few hours to kill I thought it would be good to tag some rabbits and other vermin. Heard good things about this bit of bushland during the week so kitted up and headed out. I decided to take a generally counter-clockwise approach. Every cache today was about 10m from GZ - not always in the same compass direction though. Made the adventure today just that bit more interesting. I ended up walking over 15kms in 5 and a half hours collecting 30 caches. Good effort on my own I do believe.
Thanks for placing this cache, TMRabbit. Found in good condition.

Followed the path most of the way to GZ past lovely rust-coloured gum trees and two wallabies. At GZ, the most obvious feature was searched, then a bunch of less obvious features, until finally it came down to a matter of perspective while searching everywhere. TFTC, TMRabbit. =^.^=
La Kedi, Dosshell, and I were in the area grabbing a couple of caches.
I decided to push everyone to get this one - despite it being the "furtherest flung". I found myself getting very disorientated in this bush - thankfully we had GPSr's
We trudged toward GZ. Of course Dosshell tried to lead us through bush way too early. La Kedi woke up to the fact and found the actual path several metres on. Once we arrived at GZ, we started the hunt. It took a while but Dosshell's eagle eye soon spotted the beast. It was in good condition.
Glad we made the diversion in this nice piece of forest. TFTC TMRabbit

Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a day of caching with barbbowman, FastEd59 and Raynersinoz trying to increase our difficulty / terrain average to 1.9 It is slow going, but we know we will eventually get there Fortunately it was an overcast day so this helped to keep us a little cooler while walking through this interesting bit of bush land, making for a very enjoyable day out.
Mrs Just a Trifle had visited this area previously, however Tricky Rabbit 6 had eluded her on that occasion. Today was quite different though and the cache was easily located, even if we had made our way from the last cache to ground zero harder than it needed to be. With our names in the log book, we continued on our way to the next cache on the list.
Thank you TMRabbit for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

We were on the way to the Birthday Event of Roddy C and stopped here in Koala Bushland to spot Koalas and - may be - some caches. We spotted couple of kangaroos, and went criss and cross the bush ... for couple of hours. Great caches, different ways of hiding, up and down the hills, trying to find our way out. We did. Thanks for the entertaining (and the caches).
This one took me ages and I do believe panic was setting in,surely I couldn't leave with a DNF.GOT IT.TFTC.
Adventuring with my fellow Black Flag Crew when I hear the ding of a familiar sound, we wander to GZ in search of the cache and soon discovered it. TFTC, signed and returned.
today I decided to hit this area and attack the Rats and Rabbits
I had a lot of fun wandering around the bush picking up all the different caches. some were nice and easy. some not so much...
got almost the whole group done however missed the last 4 as the sun was going down and I needed to get back to the car to get to a nearby event.
Loved all the caches in this area. I can see a lot of effort has gone into these!!

Met up with Couchmen to, hopefully, trap a few rabbits & add a few smilies to our respective maps.
The co-ords led me straight to the spot & the cache being IPS did the rest.
Signed & replaced as found with a little extra camo.

Den of Linden/6 and I hadn't connected for ages for a day caching so we were both excited about the prospects of doing a great bush walk in this area.
It was a lovely day, not too hot or cold and we had the place to ourselves except for 2 brief encounters with muggles and 1 other with a guy who listened with interest about our favourite game!
We had now completed the caches north off the road and decided to see how many caches we could get down this way in the available time and the tracks seemed to be laid out well so we could take shorter or longer routes.
We were now well and truly into the swing of the style of TMR's method of hide so we soon had this one in hand.
Thanks TMR TFTC SL

A little tricky for some reason we missed it the first time we looked there with remsjw
Out with bennyboppers who eventually spotted it. Just a case of cache blindness after getting lost and a long walk.
# 783 - Time to do a series again. Today part of the Rabbit and Rat series. Gcraider and I spent a wonderful day with stortifreddo and managed a nice total without any DNFs.
As we had not planned the trail we sort of came to a halt earlier on and had to make quite a detour around private property to get back on the trail for this cache. No problem, as it was a beautiful day.

A long walk around private property, hills and fences and we were finally at GZ and on the home stretch. This was a beautiful spot, much greener than the other side of the trail. Dropped a geocoin to continue it's travels. Tftc TMRabbit
Today, we drove to the country to hunt some rabbits and rats.
We decided to split up to cover more territory, so geo-hubby did the Rabbit Trap, Tricky Rabbit,
Rat Plaque series, and a few other in that area - a total of 23.
Most of the co-ords were accurate, which made for quick finds.
Geo-wife got to explore another area, and found all the caches in the Creepy Rabbit series,
and a few others in the area - a total of 19.
Many thanks for placing these caches, TMRabbit, for us and others to find.

As we got to this one kingkeylocksmiths thought she would give me an advantage and handed me her GPS but as usual I was too slow and Marina25 spotted it a second before me. TFTC!
Found on a morning of caching with KingKeyLocksmiths, Marina25, Sezzz & tdimdad! It is now pouring with rain but Martina25 make a quick find so we could hurry to the next one! TFTC.
17/5/15 Out for a morning caching with Marina25, Zardecoh, Tdimdad and Sezzz and rabbits and rats were the target today. We had many phones but only 1 GPS...so this time Sezzz took control of the GPS and soon she and Marina25 had the cache in hand. It was a little exposed so it was a quick find. With the log signed by all we headed off for the next adventure (but not before hiding the cache well again). TFTC TMRabbit
After taking a break on a log close to GZ, Mrs RoddyC stood next to a small tree and looked down. Hey what's this? Shifted the covering log and the cache is UPSIDE DOWN! Bet it's wet inside. Sure is. We'll have to replace this one for you, CO.
Out and about this arvo.
After having SO much trouble last time here ... and ending in a DNF.
This time I was not leaving until I found it ... actually it p!$$ed down and I hid under a tree ... but eventually I found the cache tucked away.
Thanks for the cache.

The two muggles I saw at the last cache were lovely. I chatted to them about cache for 15 mins as we walked along. The lady is training to climb the highest mountain in Malaysia next year. I then went solo through the bush only to find s track as usual. Always the hard way for me. TFTC
Went for a Sunday morning walk to complete the caches in this area. We came away finding 100% of the caches we were after so were very happy. This cache was an easy find.
Oh yeah, I was speechless when leaving the GZ. Simply because it took me quite some time to come across find a simple hide.
At the GZ, went through all sorts of options. Read older logs and was puzzled especially by couple of remarks. Walked a bit further away to see if different approaches would help. But that was to no avail.
Getting ready to leave without a smilie, I stepped away from the GZ one more time to see where such a container could fit - only to realise that it was right in front of me.
Took 1st Canadian Ceocache geocoin which has been in the cache for four months. Time for it to move on...

With Misssusan's scratched legs and Lisylou and Misssusan stung by stinging nettle, we soldiered on to this cache. Easy find by Misssusan. Dropped off Canada geocoin.
Cut and scratched legs didn't stop me from getting here. Neither did the stinging nettle. Thankfully an easy find!
This one is a long way around but we got there eventually. Misssusan made a quick grab here. Tftc.
