It has come to my attention that this series is creating an impact on the surrounding environment. Geo-trails are forming and weeds are being spread due to the nature of these hides.
The guidelines state: "Geocaches are placed so that plant and animal life are safe from both intentional and unintentional harm. "
As a result, I am archiving this series to avoid further damage to the environment and to use these containers for some more "unique" style hides.
Thank You for all the unreal logs and comments over the past 17 and a half months.

Hi,
Time to bring the numbers up for this year with a power trail. So far 2013 has been a very slow geocaching year for me.
A nice walk on this trail today with a lot of cache. Enjoyed the scenery and had a interesting chat with one of the locals.
Cheers,
Dr. Gold.

Quick find after following the very helpful hint! Was in a bit of a hurry as I wanted to finish series but I was running out of time & had to head back to Sydney. TNLNSL / TFTC
A trickier hide, but we soon had it! That tunnel looks quite a lot like the one from the Harry Potter films where the Dementors are chasing Harry and Dudley, and with the rain clouds threatening, it was quite an ... atmospheric experience.
My first cache in Australia! Was out exploring and I thought I would log this serie of caches. A nice walk to Glendale, and then a nice run back to Wallsend. All of the caches were an easy find accept the last one that I had to think a few minutes until I could find it. Thanks for this nice serie
Missed it the first time we did the trail
Happy to have it crossed off the list

Ok so today was a classic example of not doing your homework. I had no idea this was on a cycle so I ended walking the whole thing with my friend.
A few were a bit tricky but we managed to get them all. I had no idea this was here so thank you for introducing me to the cycle way.

Managed to trek this all by foot with a fellow geo friend, after the first 4 we realized bicycles would of been much better if we both did our homework before trekking.
A few were a bit hard to get at first but we managed to get all of them in the end.
Overall, a lovely afternoon along the path which we never had known it existed.

Gotta be creative when finding 31 local caches that I've not completed, this is my 3rd and a find I've been meaning to get back to fir a long time. Easily found when the cache is here, Tftc
started 31 days of geocaching with the first 2 of this group. Look forward to completing this. TFTC

Thanks for the cache Cccritter7.
With freezing hands and faces, Cccritter7 and I set off on our great Geocaching adventure. We started with the Toolbox series on the Fernleigh Track, then found the Balls-Out series in the Kahibah Sports complex. After this, a few stand alone caches in Kahibah/Charlestown. We then zoomed down the Pacific Highway on our bikes. After a perilously steep hill in Windale, we searched for the 'Nature Bird' Series in Tingira Heights. It wasn't the greatest time to take these on, as there was some very muddy tracks. After a spot of lunch along the way, we completed the majority of the caches and came down to the shore of Lake Mac. We picked up the Billion Dollar Boardwalk Series, then went on a long ride along the beautiful Lake Mac, ending up at Mega Fun. We then headed to The Leaning Red Gum cache at Glendale. After that we enjoyed a McFlurry at Macca's, before setting off for the Glendale to Wallsend Power Trail. After completing this, we tiredly set off home, exhausted but tired after an awesome day of GeoCaching.

Had a quick look around but couldn't find this one. Didn't have the right shoes to make the climb so I had to 'guess' the answer to the clue here. Caught up with Roberts GeoScouts later and they didnt find it either.
Looked and looked and looked. Later confirmed with Fitzy he couldn't find it either.
Found easily after a little climb.
I got a bit worried losing GPS signals in the tunnel but when we walked out everything was okay.
Scooby had to climb a little bit but the cache was soon in hand and signed.
Thanks everyone involved.

Our 6691st overall find.
I had previously missed this one back in December but today it was found without issue.Today we completed the series with the three girls. A great day for a ride.
Thanks cccritter7 for the cache.

While checking out new caches I noticed that some of our finds aren't showing up as being found. Seems I hadn't been saving the logs before Ieaving the pages on my iPad, so I'm going back and logging them properly. Not sure when I found this cache, but our name will be found in your logbook. My daughter and I rode our bikes along the track and I remember a week later someone was shot here! Thanks for the cache!
This was the second time I found it but I almost was stabbed by a syringe so please take care when looking for this one tftc
Found at 8:00 AM GAFF3. GPSr was pointing to completely the wrong side of the track at first. And what didn't help was that there was a pile of rocks on the retaining wall that looked like a bit of camo. Eventually I ventured to the other side of the track and found it straight away.
GPSr did settle down after a while from 9 metres down to 5.
Thanks cccritter7.

The premise of this series was that it'd be a really cool little ride and a quick string of caches, today ,for me it was an annoying series plagued, literally by mosquitos and Muggled(?) caches. I don't often complain but have to this time, owner maintenance is required due to several missing caches as already logged by others. And top of my so and so day, the battery went flat real quick and my backups hadn't been charged [:(!]

doesn't the previous log sound sketchy? WebbyHRT found it with kano555, but kano555 didn't find it? Weird.....
Tftc. Didn't find with Kano555. Logged as found accidentally after a long day of caching

Nice ride along the old tram line in the heat. Didn't find the cache but this area really isn't suited to anything staying around for more than a few days, kids these days...
I must be blind, I couldn't see a cache today.
Thanks anyway cccritter7.

This had us thinking for a while till we realised there were new co-ordinates. Found after a short search. TFTC cccritter7.
Replaced this one on the otherside of the track! I couldn't find the bottle either so I placed the new cache in a different spot!
Someone has muggled this one. We found the paper log book list with a lid #2 on it. We didn't have a container to replace and repair this one for you...we had to make do with a Gatorade bottle...sorry it wasn't the best. The old lid was stacked with the bottle and hidden behind the same pile of rocks, plus one extra. I hope cccritter7 can get back to it soon to fix this great trail of caches. Thanks for the fun today.
This cache we found on the ground under a rock. It included a few blank pages & the cap of a container with the number on it. Will need some attention.
Headed to Newcastle to do the Wallsend to Glendale Power Trail.
Enjoyed the walk on such a beautiful.
This cache we found on the ground under a rock. No container but the lid was there which contained the number . Will need maintanance.

We were able to meet up with friends DiMorgan and got together to do some caching around the Newcastle area. It was a fun day out and this was one of the caches we were able to find.
Thanks to cccritter7.
Thanks to cccritter7.
Has been muggled, log paper was scattered all over ground and lid of container was found nearby. Placed the lid and the paper together nearby.
Found log paper and lid of cache on ground. Has been muggled and needs attention.
Too easy. TFTC

A really great power trail for our first - nice scenery, cows, horses, ponies, plenty of caches, and easy hides. Very enjoyable experience for the whole family. Thanks for bringing us on this great walk.
With geotoddler and geobaby in hand I decided I would see how far I could get with this series before one of them had a meltdown.
As per previous log this cache needs repair. Recommend a different type of container as the log is difficult to get out without damage to paper.

Muggled! Found the bits and fixed it, but the container is split and needs replacement.
A very nice walk with friends and their 4 daughters. They are going to start Geocaching now have them hooked by this walk. We met cccritter7 during our walk had just replaced cache No.7
A pleasant walk on a pleasant day. About an hour 40 from the first to the bonus. Thanks.
Found 11:25, we decided to walk this trail to walk of breakfast and kill some time prior to heading out to the HISS, to watch the Melbourne Ice win their third AIHL championship in a row
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks cccritter7.
