A bug few hours planned to do this Smiley geoart before work at 3pm today. As soon as I started I just had to finish it and time was running out fast. Took me 3.5 hours to do the whole lot driving, park then walk to the cache. All caches were in great order only one was a bit damp. Really inspires me to attempt a Geoart of my own one day. Great effort and such a remote location too, I didnt see a single person or another vehicle the whole time I was here. TFTC jtnsilo
After only having half of the smiley face completed for quiet some time and a lovely Autumn day with so much that needed doing but nothing that had to be done rite away I decided to I would rather spend an afternoon bush walking. At about 1:30 I set out to just get 4 caches but it turned into a bit more than 4 hahaha. A quick find and cache is in good condition Ttfc
Out and about with omegaman and ski pair around the Bendigo and Echuca area, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today.Logs signed as RASPOMThanks jtnsilo for the cache.
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache jtnsilo.**SKI Pair****
In Bendigo for the weekend for a freinds 50th birthday so it gave us a chance to get and about exploring the local area with @Smithiesoutbackgear to knock of some caches. Tftc
Visiting Bendigo for a 50th Birthday Bash tonight and thought we would spend this great day outwith @The4WDShed grabbing some caches. Nice drive in this area to grab these ones. TFTC

I set out several hours later than planned today. The original plan was actually yesterday but ermmmmm, we won't mention that!
Mtbing around here also went out the window........
I've never been out here before. This was #14 & my offroad driving was advancing into rally driving, in rapidly fading light. A nice hide. Many thanks. ️

Having called it quits because of the mozzies out in the field of Bendigo, we jumped in the car but simply couldn’t resist driving past a cache so it was a quick park and grab on this one. Pepped up again having signed yet another log off we went.

Hi jtnsilo, I found Be Peppy and Smile today.

A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
Thanks tigersden TFTC.

A full afternoon of completing the smile! A great variety of caches to find. This was a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for being us here.
Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. TFTC
Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache Replaced the container, clips breaking
The container is cracked on this one but the contents are fine. What a great day for a tour in the bush
Just while we negotiate this lockdown period and I can get out there again to do a maintenance run.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely than all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Reg

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
As a former member of TeamOZCAT, I am now claiming these caches under my profile as I visited this series on the 12th February, 2021. I have been waiting for the CO to re-enable them whilst I have been living in Shepparton so I may visit them and sign the log a fresh. Maybe one day I will be back there again as planned with someone special in my life. Thank you Tigersden for placing this series.
Getting into the swing of things now, this cache was found in good condition. I had the place all to myself, with very little animal life to be seen.
Although it was quite a warm day, I enjoyed my time caching through the area.
Thanks jtnsilo.

Well that was interesting - there was a purse and a small toy next to the container?
Thanks jtnsilo.

Still in lockdown due to global pandemic but we are permitted to walk for exercise. Thanks for cache
A morning caching run through the forests near Bendigo The flies are the size of mice and, boy, do they bite Rummaged in the back for Bushman’s and came up empty but did find a roll of TP So did what I felt like doing and then treated the car to a wash, and me to an ice cream and can of bug spray. Here for a week or so, plenty of time to explore and solved a swag of puzzles yesterday. Just chillin’ this arvo
I’ll be back to complete these smiley caches!!!

TFTC. We had been in the area to find the Milestone Challenge caches. WE then spotted this trail of geo art to create a Smilie. We attempted 9 of them before the hot weather got to us. We will be back at some stage to find the rest.
Found at 11.35am, Our Qld visitor, not a geocacher, or off track walker normally, found it interesting to see cars seemingly come out of nowhere ahead of us, when all she could see was low scrubby undergrowth all around.
Thanks

This was our fifth find on today's attack on the smiley face series and find was pretty easy. TFTC and the series, from the inspectorrexteam.
