A bug few hours planned to do this Smiley geoart before work at 3pm today. As soon as I started I just had to finish it and time was running out fast. Took me 3.5 hours to do the whole lot driving, park then walk to the cache. All caches were in great order only one was a bit damp. Really inspires me to attempt a Geoart of my own one day. Great effort and such a remote location too, I didnt see a single person or another vehicle the whole time I was here. TFTC jtnsilo
Out and about with omegaman and ski pair around the Bendigo and Echuca area, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today.Logs signed as RASPOMThanks jtnsilo for the cache.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache jtnsilo.**SKI Pair****
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
We arrived in Axedale, continuing our trip towards the MEGA in Canberra - still stopping for couple of caches on the way.We liked the smiley face and tried to swap the green dots into smileys. Unfortunately, our car did not like all the tracks, so we had to walk quite a bit and couldn't finish the smiley face (yet), as we were running out of time.We found this cache and signed the log. We loved your efforts with maintenance and each cache we tackled, was converted into a smiley!Tftc Tigersden
Now we are on the way to Canberra and pick up some more caches .Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc tigersden
Visiting Bendigo for a 50th Birthday Bash tonight and thought we would spend this great day grabbing some caches. Nice drive in this area to grab these ones. TFTC

Mtbing around here also went out the window........

A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
Thanks tigersden TFTC.

Out today to explore this series loving this interesting bush area to explore. Nice hide. TFTC
A full afternoon of completing the smile! A great variety of caches to find. This was a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for being us here.
Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. We didn't see any animals though. TFTC
Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache
As a former member of TeamOZCAT, I am now claiming these caches under my profile as I visited this series on the 12th February, 2021. I have been waiting for the CO to re-enable them whilst I have been living in Shepparton so I may visit them and sign the log a fresh. Maybe one day I will be back there again as planned with someone special in my life. Thank you Tigersden for placing this series.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Reg

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
phone GPS was wavering a bit. Knee should have brought the better GPS.
Eventually found and log signed.

Trudging along, paying attention to the possibility of snakes, I progressed through the outer ring of the smiley face. After a while I became concerned that the other people back at camp may have eaten all the nibbles, and drank the wine before my return. This caused me to put some more urgency into the hunt. Life is tough sometimes!
Thanks to tigersden and jtnsilo for this series. Cache in good condition.

Found at 12:46 PM GAFF2.
Ran to this cache and found a faint track that led me straight to GZ. However then the wheels fell off as I just couldn't find the darn thing. I actually went to the hiding spot nearly straight away, but didn't search hard enough for that little pro forma.
Thanks jtnsilo.

TFTC. We had been in the area to find the Milestone Challenge caches. WE then spotted this trail of geo art to create a Smilie. We attempted 9 of them before the hot weather got to us. We will be back at some stage to find the rest.
Found at 12.25pm, Heading back to the car now, the terrain is always changing and interesting.
Thanks

Heading south for the St. Arnaud event next month after leaving QOGM in Blackall. Day 58 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 22 caches for the day and 1659 for the trip. TFTC
I thought I should probability should finish off the face, so I did it.
Thanks Tigersden for the CG

This was our second find on the smiley face series today and what a day it was with the geo navara deciding it did not like some tracks earlier in the day resulting in walking to a couple of caches and then some off road driving was also required on the way back out along Plant Road as it was blocked by several fallen trees possibly as a result of lighting based on what we saw as we drove thru the area. This one was a fairly quick walk in and the cache is holding up well in its hidey hole, log was duly signed and then it was off to collect Squish and Smile. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam
Not sure why these are so deep into the holes or why people put big swag in such a small container.
