A bug few hours planned to do this Smiley geoart before work at 3pm today. As soon as I started I just had to finish it and time was running out fast. Took me 3.5 hours to do the whole lot driving, park then walk to the cache. All caches were in great order only one was a bit damp. Really inspires me to attempt a Geoart of my own one day. Great effort and such a remote location too, I didnt see a single person or another vehicle the whole time I was here. TFTC jtnsilo
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Ghihash.SKI Pair
Matinance vistCache in good conditionAdded fresh log sheet to go with near full log.
Visiting Bendigo for a 50th Birthday Bash tonight and thought we would spend this great day outwith @The4WDShed grabbing some caches. Nice drive in this area to grab these ones. TFTC

Thanks for the cache. I quick find, although our wonky gps was leading us to the location
Joined by my reluctant Geoteen today to finish what I started a few days ago. Cool hide. Cache is very safe & dry. Many thanks

Hi jtnsilo, I found Be High Spirited and Smile today.
Many thanks jtnsilo for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
Thanks tigersden TFTC.

Made a quick find but before that also found a replacement cache that was quite interesting about 70 m from gz. Tftc
Out today to explore this series loving this interesting bush area to explore. Nice hide. TFTC
Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. TFTC
A full afternoon of completing the smile! A great variety of caches to find. This was a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for being us here.
Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache
Just while we negotiate this lockdown period and I can get out there again to do a maintenance run.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely than all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Reg

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
As a former member of TeamOZCAT, I am now claiming these caches under my profile as I visited this series on the 12th February, 2021. I have been waiting for the CO to re-enable them whilst I have been living in Shepparton so I may visit them and sign the log a fresh. Maybe one day I will be back there again as planned with someone special in my life. Thank you Tigersden for placing this series.
After a quick trip back to the car, to grab a battery pack. Found the first eye on the way to the smile and the finale the last eye
Found it! Did have to stray from GZ a bit.
Thank you!

After lunch, Mrs CV took the car, and the dog, and went into Bendigo to visit friends.
Hembee took us, in her motorhome, for a little jaunt to pick up some of the caches that were a bit far for walking. We stopped at this one on the way out. Found in good condition, we signed it and continued on our way. Tftc.

Thanks jtnsilo.

Michelle and Nala led the way and found this one while Ben and Craig followed. No 4 in the Smiley Hunt Series. TFTC
TFTC. We had been in the area to find the Milestone Challenge caches. WE then spotted this trail of geo art to create a Smilie. We attempted 9 of them before the hot weather got to us. We will be back at some stage to find the rest.
Like others before us we had to expand the search area. We suggest S36 43.367 E144 24.682 about 15metres from the listed GZ.

Had a second look on the way back, expanded my search even further out and came up with the goods. Heading south for the St. Arnaud event next month after leaving QOGM in Blackall. Day 58 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 29 caches for the day and 1666 for the trip. TFTC
This was our seventh and last find on the smiley face series today and what a day it was with the geo navara deciding it did not like some tracks earlier in the day resulting in walking to a couple of caches and then some off road driving was also required on the way back out along Plant Road as it was blocked by several fallen trees possibly as a result of lighting based on what we saw as we drove thru the area. The lighting in conjunction with the very heavy rainfall made our approach to this series an interesting one. This one was a drive in walk in and collect the cache is holding up well and was hastily signed in the pouring rain at which time we decided it was time to head home for the day and collect the other on another day , TFTC from the inspectorrexteam

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that regular visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 5th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 5th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, it is likely that I will need to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice posted above.

Quick find on a cool fresh winters morning! Been eyeing off this series to do with the kids and today was the right opportunity. Tftc. Fun little geoart for our map.
Found with Tassie expat. See her answers for further tips. Thanks for placing these caches, we had a terrific walk; series like this are the reason I took up geocaching.
frmen1 and I went round in circles a bit here. Finally found not where we expected. No container. Log very wet and couldn't sign. Pic sent to CO as confirmation of find. TFTC

Found you! You sneaky little thing! Finally on my third visit here I can put the last smiley on this awesome geoart series. I'm not sure if there was meant to be an actual container for this cache as all there is left is a pen and plastic bag with the log in it, but the log was dry. Thank you for this series tigersden
