Thanks for the cache which is now badly cracked and broken contents unfortunately saturated. We didn't have anything with us to replace it. What a wonderful series this Smiley series has been. A lot of work must of gone in it for our caching community's enjoyment. I take my hat off to jtnsilo for maintaining it it. I don't know how she does it considering it took Brian and I a couple of goes before we completed the series owing to the weather.
Lovely morning to do some bush walking with the Geokids & get some caches to smile about. Log wet but able to sign. TFTC

Hi jtnsilo, I found Don't Complain and Smile today. I have to say I was dragging my feet a bit for this one! Unfortunately logbook is wet however having used waterproof paper was very clever because it still able to be signed.
Many thanks jtnsilo for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
Thanks tigersden TFTC.

Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. TFTC
A full afternoon of completing the smile! A great variety of caches to find. This was a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for being us here.
Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache we found the original and the replacement so we combined all contents and took away one container
This one was again broken and scattered so i gave it a new container and tucked it into the spot i think it came from. All good now.
Just while we negotiate this lockdown period and I can get out there again to do a maintenance run.
Needs new cache containers, we found the container spread but signed the log and re hid it at GZ
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely than all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Reg

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
As a former member of TeamOZCAT, I am now claiming these caches under my profile as I visited this series on the 12th February, 2021. I have been waiting for the CO to re-enable them whilst I have been living in Shepparton so I may visit them and sign the log a fresh. Maybe one day I will be back there again as planned with someone special in my life. Thank you Tigersden for placing this series.
Yay, the smile is complete.
Thank you for bringing some positives and smiles to my day
Cheers
Garth

Walking across country, back to our camp, we found this one. Although the container needs replacing, the log sheet was usable and we signed it before tucking the container away again.

My dog found this one & brought it too me. At first I thought he might have broken it, but on further inspection the bottom is cracked & water was in it. Log is dry though. Tftc.
Found at 1:41 PM GAFF1.
After lunch we went around and found a track that took us quite close to where we were wanting to get to. When the cache was found it was full of water, but the log sheet was dry and safe.
Thanks jtnsilo.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that regular visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 5th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 5th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, it is likely that I will need to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice posted above.

Found with Tassie expat. See her answers for further tips. Thanks for placing these caches, we had a terrific walk; series like this are the reason I took up geocaching.
Not complaining...we have completed the smiley!!! We were worried that we may end up with a blue wart on the screen, but we didn't. Happy dance as previous cache lol
The lid has no wings. Found 2 on the ground. Popped them into the container. Now to find somewhere for a celebratory lunch (ended up at a pub...nachos, cab merlot, bangers and mash and cola). We thoroughly enjoyed the walk. TFTC and all the work. Fav pt given here for the series.

Suscoe's last day away on this trip.
We awoke to some low cloud and a little overnight rain.
The sky had some blue patches and it was fine as we headed off for another day of caching around the Bendigo area before we headed southwards to our home.
Well the rain was light and there was little evidence of its efforts as we wandered the tracks around the area.
We heard lots of birds today which was pleasant as often in the bush things are very quiet.
Thanks to tigersden for this cache, took us three years to get back out here but today we have completed the smiling face.

Revisit 2 years after original log. This time with roizub. Still an awesome series. Going for all 25 in 1 day this time. Tftc. Number 4 for today.
Biggest traipse through the forest so far. Our 3 year old is doing a remarkable job! Thanks
We have finished the smiley face! Thanks for a great series! Geokids loved this
Nope, no complaints , just smiles here! Have really been enjoying caching here today in this beautiful bushland - it's nice and flat and it is a beautiful day for it. Thanks for the effort tigersden in creating this smiley! The boys aren't complaining either. They have been making lots of swaps. Here they swapped a santa ring and ball for a logo man & frog. Loving the variety of hides and containers today.
Today we set our sights on the smiley face and managed to find them all. The geoart will look great on our map. Thanks for the time and effort in setting up this face. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the forest. Will give this one a favourite as one of the eyes, as a great series. TFTC
We picked this cache up at 3:41pm. We parked on the road and walked into the cache. It took me ages but I found a nice feather on the way.
My previous visit to this series was way back in August 2012. I was recovering from some surgery and it was a big effort for me to find the first 15 caches I found in this series. Today my other half and I found the remaining 9 caches in the series. We mainly drove, but walked to a few caches. It was cool but sunny and we had a nice afternoon.
Thanks for the cache tigersden.

I set off from Melbourne, with my bike attached to the car, for a few days of caching around Bendigo. After stopping off for some fuel (a great pie from a local bakery) I headed straight to this series as I really want a smiley face made up of smiley faces.
For some reason I decided to complete the series in a clockwise direction...outer ring first then the facial features on the second lap.
Luckily I have kevlar bands inside my bike tyres as there is a lot of sharp and spiky material around the area. I could have done with some kevlar trousers to protect my legs.
This was a quick find. TFTC.
