A bug few hours planned to do this Smiley geoart before work at 3pm today. As soon as I started I just had to finish it and time was running out fast. Took me 3.5 hours to do the whole lot driving, park then walk to the cache. All caches were in great order only one was a bit damp. Really inspires me to attempt a Geoart of my own one day. Great effort and such a remote location too, I didnt see a single person or another vehicle the whole time I was here. TFTC jtnsilo
After only having half of the smiley face completed for quiet some time and a lovely Autumn day with so much that needed doing but nothing that had to be done rite away I decided to I would rather spend an afternoon bush walking. At about 1:30 I set out to just get 4 caches but it turned into a bit more than 4 hahaha. This cache required a call a friend after 20kins of looking Cache is in good condition currently Ttfc
Out and about with omegaman and ski pair around the Bendigo and Echuca area, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today.Logs signed as RASPOMThanks jtnsilo for the cache.
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache jtnsilo.**SKI Pair****
Mantinance logCache in good condition, log sheet dry.Tweezers recommended. Best found in dry conditions.
In Bendigo for the weekend for a freinds 50th birthday so it gave us a chance to get and about exploring the local area with @Smithiesoutbackgear to knock of some caches. Tftc
Visiting Bendigo for a 50th Birthday Bash tonight and thought we would spend this great day outwith @The4WDShed grabbing some caches. Nice drive in this area to grab these ones. TFTC

Found after walking past it. Smart cache, thanks for the cach. Added a waterproof piece of paper as we did not see any sort of log. With geo dog and @allyalba
No idea how we didn't see this sooner Should've gone to a cheap optician with the bribe of Burger King, reluctant Geoteen joined me to finish what I started a few days ago. Loved the container. No logbook so I left a sheet of w/p paper. It's pretty tight though...... many thanks
Very jumpy GPS but made the find.
In Bendigo for the weekend as part of Melbourne Opera’s massive Wagner Ring Cycle. It’s our rest day, so here I am finding some local caches. TFTC

Hi jtnsilo, I found Be Lost in the Rough and Smile today. Was finding this one a little challenging until I changed my perspective. The cache was quickly in hand. Logbook on the other hand was more of a challenge.
Many thanks jtnsilo for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
We did manage to retrieve the logbook with a bit of bush mechanics and add our names to the log.
Thanks tigersden TFTC.

Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. We couldn't retrieve the logbook to sign, we did take a photo though as proof. TFTC
A full afternoon of completing the smile! A great variety of caches to find. This was a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for being us here.
Found at 11.30am. A great hide shame about the logbook. It is irretrievable. I took a picture of the cache if the co wants proof of my visit. I signed the outside of cache.
Thanks

Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache very clever hide.
As a former member of TeamOZCAT, I am now claiming these caches under my profile as I visited this series on the 12th February, 2021. I have been waiting for the CO to re-enable them whilst I have been living in Shepparton so I may visit them and sign the log a fresh. Maybe one day I will be back there again as planned with someone special in my life. Thank you Tigersden for placing this series.
fav awarded. As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Reg

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
Sitting by the camp fire, with a few drinks, Rod and I decided to take a walk before going to bed. The others were asleep as we headed off to find this one. Unfortunately, the lid of the container is missing, and the log sheet was just pulp. I replaced the sheet and tucked it away again, covering as best as I could. Container needs to be replaced. It's amazing how many spiders, and their webs, that we encountered as we progressed through the woods at night. The torch illuminating the webs, and some of the spiders, had us backing up and finding a new path to avoid damaging their webs. It's always nice to see nature and it's workings.
Only one more cache to find in the morning to complete the series.
It's been great fun getting all the smiley faces, and enjoying time with friends.
Thank you very much tigersden and jtnsilo. A fav point for the series.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there Cache Owner,
It looks like this cache might need some attention from you, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. It is being temporarily disabled to discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed, as well as to remove it from search listings.
Please note that CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't always just pop out and fix the issue. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame.
#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and Victorian Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, please feel free to do so. Don't forget to log an 'Owner Maintenance ' log and also Enable the cache once the issue is fixed.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
#Please Note#
When the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Thanks for you cooperation,
Bunjil

Last cache for the series for us and we are very glad that we have done it - however it needs a bit of TLC after 8 years. This was the longest walk at 260 metres each way. It was a lovely still day to do this series and the bush was kind to us
Thanks jtnsilo.

There is no lid to protect the "log sheet". It is not actually a "log sheet" anymore, but rather a bunch of paper scraps shoved into a tiny hole!
Almost didn’t see it. Log was drenched from recent rain so couldn’t physically log
Found by Craig, something different from the previous few "FOUR" but even after using tool to retrieve log it was unable to be signed. TFTC
Heading south for the St. Arnaud event next month after leaving QOGM in Blackall. Day 58 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 15 caches for the day and 1652 for the trip. TFTC
I thought I should probability should finish off the face, so I did it.
Thanks Tigersden for the CG

This was our sixth find on the smiley face series today and what a day it was with the geo navara deciding it did not like some tracks earlier in the day resulting in walking to a couple of caches and then some off road driving was also required on the way back out along Plant Road as it was blocked by several fallen trees possibly as a result of lighting based on what we saw as we drove thru the area. The lighting in conjunction with the very heavy rainfall made our approach to this series an interesting one. This one was a walk in and collect along with Be full of beans and smile the cache is holding up well whilst hanging around unfortunately the log was very wet and we were unable to retrieve it from hole. We taken a photo of the cache as proof of find. A new log is required along with a plug to keep the log dry, and then it was off to collect Be high spirited and smile, TFTC from the inspectorrexteam
Found this one just hanging around in the bush. We couldn't log as paper soaking wet and unable to get it out .TFTC
This one took way too long. The really, not even hidden "in plain sight" came almost defeated us. Just as we'r were about to leave GeowifeE spotted it. Couldn't sign cos logsheet is shrivelled up tight.
Found today: Thanks for the hide, we signed the log and put the cache into its cubby for some one else to enjoy
Loving this series the weather has been perfect. If we do not finish today we will back.
Cheers

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that regular visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 5th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 5th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, it is likely that I will need to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice posted above.

Found with Tassie expat. See her answers for further tips. Thanks for placing these caches, we had a terrific walk; series like this are the reason I took up geocaching.
We went round in circles here. Had 2 smartphones and a handheld gps all within 3m of each other. We looked all over. Looked at hint. Looked at previous logs. Oh, no...hasn't been found for ages. Looked everywhere again. Just as we were about to concede defeat, frmen1 said those magic words!!! Still attached (CO and previous finders will understand) but log missing. Pic sent to CO for confirmation of find. Within acceptable limits co-ord/gz wise. TFTC
Hi there tigersden.
This is the 1st of 1 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
Trying to complete some "unfinished" business. We DNF'd this cache way back in 2013,. We spent quite some time here at around 12:35:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's another DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

No luck here for me today

I searched an area of 20 Metres as had many other cachers
There has been many cachers in the forest and this is the only one with no logs

Suscoe's last day away on this trip.
We awoke to some low cloud and a little overnight rain.
The sky had some blue patches and it was fine as we headed off for another day of caching around the Bendigo area before we headed southwards to our home.
Well the rain was light and there was little evidence of its efforts as we wandered the tracks around the area.
We heard lots of birds today which was pleasant as often in the bush things are very quiet.
Thanks to tigersden for this hide, took a little bit of wandering in circles before the obvious was noticed.
The log is a little damp with no cap.
Might need some TLC one day soon.
We are smiling now that the whole face is smiling.
A favourite from us for the finishing of this three year task.

Revisit 2 years after original log. This time with roizub. Still an awesome series. Going for all 25 in 1 day this time. Tftc. Number 2 for today.
Well! That took us way too long to find First if this kind. Had a tool to get log out but is too wet to write on. Thanks for this one. 5 to go!
Mrs P. stayed in the car to look after little Miss Tess who had run out of beans just before the last cache! Well this one made us smile when we found it. Glad we did otherwise we would have had to take a drop! The log is full and has been damp so some of the entries have washed away. We managed to squeeze our scribble on. I really liked this cache, thanks tigersden. Interesting also the water channel through the area - I assume this may have been dug to provide water for gold mining in the area? PS. luckily I had the first aide kit in my bag..I had to use a tool in it to help extract the log.
