A bug few hours planned to do this Smiley geoart before work at 3pm today. As soon as I started I just had to finish it and time was running out fast. Took me 3.5 hours to do the whole lot driving, park then walk to the cache. All caches were in great order only one was a bit damp. Really inspires me to attempt a Geoart of my own one day. Great effort and such a remote location too, I didnt see a single person or another vehicle the whole time I was here. TFTC jtnsilo
After only having half of the smiley face completed for quiet some time and a lovely Autumn day with so much that needed doing but nothing that had to be done rite away I decided to I would rather spend an afternoon bush walking. At about 1:30 I set out to just get 4 caches but it turned into a bit more than 4 hahaha. This cache is currently in good condition A quick find Ttfc
Out and about with omegaman and ski pair around the Bendigo and Echuca area, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today.Logs signed as RASPOMThanks jtnsilo for the cache.
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache jtnsilo.**SKI Pair****
We arrived in Axedale, continuing our trip towards the MEGA in Canberra - still stopping for couple of caches on the way.We liked the smiley face and tried to swap the green dots into smileys. Unfortunately, our car did not like all the tracks, so we had to walk quite a bit and couldn't finish the smiley face (yet), as we were running out of time.We found this cache and signed the log. We loved your efforts with maintenance and each cache we tackled, was converted into a smiley!Tftc Tigersden

Jumpy GPS again. Read the logs, and broadened the search.

Hi jtnsilo, I found Be Full of Beans and Smile today.
Many thanks jtnsilo for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
Thanks tigersden TFTC.

Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. TFTC

Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache
Just while we negotiate this lockdown period and I can get out there again to do a maintenance run.
As a former member of TeamOZCAT, I am now claiming these caches under my profile as I visited this series on the 12th February, 2021. I have been waiting for the CO to re-enable them whilst I have been living in Shepparton so I may visit them and sign the log a fresh. Maybe one day I will be back there again as planned with someone special in my life. Thank you Tigersden for placing this series.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Reg

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
Waking up at 0200, I decided to take the car and find a few more caches. Crusty K9 joined me on the adventure, but the prickly plants proved to be a problem for her feet. As she and I are ageing together, we try and eliminate annoying things in our lives, so she remained in the car for the next couple of hours while I found and logged some more of the series.
By 0400 we decided it was time to hit the sack again, so we went back to camp.
Still enjoying the fun. Cache in good condition. tftc.

Continuing on to fill in the face of smileys. We pulled off the side of the track beside another vehicle whose occupants were already wondering in the forest. We waited until they returned to their vehicle and had a brief chat to the McDonald family who are very new to this geocaching hobby. They left for further adventures and then it was our turn to walk to GZ and SL at 11.50am TN Left: a deer PT #7124 TFTC tigersden - and another Ancient Wonder added to our collection.
Found at 1:11 PM GAFF1.
Don't know what happened there, but the ground around GZ is quite open and yet the GPSr bounced me around from one spot to another until finally I spotted where the cache was located. Must have been the rain that was interfering as it just started to fall.
Thanks jtnsilo.

This was our fifth find on the smiley face series today and what a day it was with the geo navara deciding it did not like some tracks earlier in the day resulting in walking to a couple of caches and then some off road driving was also required on the way back out along Plant Road as it was blocked by several fallen trees possibly as a result of lighting based on what we saw as we drove thru the area. The lighting in conjunction with the very heavy rainfall made our approach to this series an interesting one. This one was a walk in and collect along with Be lost in the rough and smile the cache is holding up well in its hidey hole, log was duly signed and then it was off to collect Be Lost in the Rough and Smile, TFTC from the inspectorrexteam
Full of Beans reminds me we need to eat lunch.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that regular visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 5th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 5th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, it is likely that I will need to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice posted above.
