Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases

Very helpful clue made the grab very speedy - although my mobile phone navigator was too slow, and I missed the closest parking spot, so needed to do a bit of highway walking.

It was hard with the location u til I saw something wasn’t right… found it!
In the area today and decided to pick up a few caches and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and after signing the log all was returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

Completing the run out to Braidwood via Captains flat today to collect a number of caches. TFTC
The third day of caching logging as THE MOB. Once more we appreciated the CO's efforts in putting them out. The weather on all 3 days has been great for caching.
We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

Cache 6763 on 17 Nov 2020.
After some late night work, I had the morning off as compensation, which was fortunate, as I needed to get a few caches today. I decided to make a start on the caches along the road to Captains Flat, which were well overdue to be found so Bobl27 and I drove out here at a leisurely time of the morning. All caches found reasonably quickly and in accordance with hints, when I could access them! Boy is the CF raid busy though! I will be back for sure next week to make further inroads into these cache series’.
Quick find and sign.
Thanks Marble Droppers for the cache and the fun!

Found with AngelG27 on a mid morning mission to collect a few caches for her stats. She did the expert finding while I did the expert driving - this road is much busier than I would have expected. TFTC
I do enjoy the drive to Captains Flat, but it will just be this single cache for me today. Thanks for placing it.
Out hiding my first cache and decided to find a few along the way. This one’s name was a helpful clue.
This afternoon, Elleise and I wandered in Cuumbeun Nature Reserve to place a new geocache and took the opportunity to seek out some geocaches along Captains Flat Road. This cache was a straightforward find, being in an obvious spot on the coordinates. Thank you Marble Droppers for installing and maintaining this cache.
This road is extra busy on a Sunday. This one easy find. Hint helps. Thank you Marble Droppers.
It’s a leap day so we decided to make the the most of all things caching.. yay!!! Out with GLISS! on the hunt for a cache of every size, a cache of every type and a total of a hundred.. well if we can pull it off. Thanks to all the cache owners who helped make this an awesome day. A terrific morning of geocaching today in the company of the always excellent IamCoust.
An early start was required, but fortunately the emerging spring weather played its part to make a most pleasant time of it. We ended up with about 30 caches (IaC just slightly less as he had already done a few that he indulged me by revisiting) without having to DNF any and removed a bag full of rubbish from beside the Qbn River as part of the CITO event there. A successful and thoroughly enjoyable start to the day!
Apologies for the generic logs across these. My expediency in no way undermines my appreciation for the generous efforts of those who placed the caches we enjoyed finding (particularly All7, who placed the majority of the ones we found today). TFTC

Today three of us - Infoferret, Nosynel and Jude_e, have the goal of finding 180 caches. We started at about 5.45am, finished about 8pm. Thanks for your cache which was on our trail. Sometimes I signed as KCC NZ and other times we signed as kiwi chicks - depended who had the pen!
Out and about aroud Canberra caching with the KCC team. A great little trail along here with tonnes of caches and a lovely pub lunch at the end.
Signed KCC or KC for Kiwi Caching Chicks (Infoferret, Jude_E, NosyNel, thedbees, Graciesgpsfun and me) who are Australia for the OzMuster. We are now on a road trip for 7 days. TFTC

Thanks Marble Droppers for placing this geocaches 7357 find for me. We six stayed in Canberra last night. Today is all about numbers. We are setting a challenge to see how many we can find on a day. We started out at 5:47am. 6am was the time we filled the car with juice. We changed the driver 3 times.
The time has finally arrived for a massive Australian road trip with The Kiwi Chicks. We are GraciesGPSfun , thedbees , Ethness, Infoferret , Jude_E and me Nosynel. We might sometimes sign the geocaches as KCs or TKCs.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

A quick find on a typical Canberra winter day. Brrrr! #MysteryAtTheMuseum Clue #? TFTC.
Apologies for the late log. I had a trip to Canberra in the middle of winter to visit my wife who had a six week study placement there. This was my one major day of caching when I headed out to Queanbeyan and then followed the Captains Flat Trail south to follow the CFT series and other assorted caches along the way. A big day with 102 finds in total and my apologies for the generic log. The majority were found without too much trouble. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Marble Droppers.
#7152. I have been in Canberra for several days picking up caches before headed to the Mega event near Wollongong tomorrow. Lots of interesting challenge caches in this city was a magnet for a challenge cache junkie. Heading out on the Captains trail today. I need a few bulk finding days on this trip. Planning to have a few hours out here after lunch before I need to drive to Goulburn for my next pit stop. Nice quick find. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding the cache here Marble Droppers. Greetings from New Zealand.
Out for a bit of trail bashing. I wonder what the days total will be? TFTC.

Just a warning that I feel that this cache is in a dangerous spot. Coming down the hill northbound towards Queanbeyan we had a fast moving truck behind us and despite an early use of the blinkers we had aggro from them as we pulled over. My guess is that they thought we were indicating left for the roundabout, and were not expecting us to pull off onto the narrow shoulder. Best to search for this one southbound.
