As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Will check it when I get a spare minute - sorry about the delay (had surgery and wasn't able to walk for a long time).
On a day trip to Hamilton with Philip.Perry and his son. Our second mission together but rest assured there will be plenty more.
I wasn't holding out much hope for this one after the recent dnf's but we had to check. Thorough search of the area led us to believe it has gone.

Time for another trip over the hill from Tauranga, carving this place up with KmanNZ on our second tour together.
We cleared every spot the hint indicated and were quite happy to leave this one based on the previous logs.

Went to check the site to see if it was back yet. It is not where it was when I found it. No other placement meets the description either so we believe no maintenance has been performed yet.
Made this into a T3.0 expedition before realising the cache is missing.

Searched with Tufty. We were told later at the after CITO event that we definitely were looking at where the cache should have been.
Went to check today and punga have been set of fire and area brushed away.
We think cache has been cleaned away and might need replacing.
Couldn't get down the bank to have a good look through the debris.

Followed the GPS (which is temperamental on a good day), found a couple of pongas that had been set fire to at some point, poked round a couple of others, felt like a complete idiot because I couldn't find the cache. Plus there were a few muggles in the area who were watching us so we gave up and left.
Finally can tick this one off my list, first place a looked. Could do with new camo though
Found with lauzydee and allaboutthatcache, before hitting the nearby cache. TFTC
Was looking for awhile with Gonna Cache Em All, once we found the right spot was easy to get
Agree camo bag needs some TLC.
We forgot the pen so will return to write in log when we return to search for the nearby Vic's Nuts.

Was certain it was down the bank... You really don't need to go down there Nice hiding spot.

Out enjoying an early morning walk. Nice to pick this one up while passing close by.
Didn't know this park was here. Cool. Camo bag has seen better days. No writing thing. Didn't have a spare, sorry. TFTC
Took the day off for my birthday so off on the push bike and cache hunting. Dave's birthday bicycle bash (part 5 of . GPS accuracy was only 28m so I was looking in the wrong spot. was heading back and spotted a possibility, and there it was. TFTC
29/07/14 11:40 A brief stroll around the fenced off area due to be returfed and this cache was soon in hand. Camo may need a reapIr sometime as starting to wear. Cheers, GC.
Uplifted Micro Compass Rose TB which is listed as being in one of the Pick up 52 caches - GC34EKK. Damn useless cacher's!

Without a GPS and knowing what a punga is it took a lot of time, but the cache was finally found.
I liked the place.

Found it with kimbathelion. Nice out of the way spot. Dropped off TB Stortebeker
Camoflague was doing a great job today. Cache found on our 2nd hunt around the item.
Removed the rodent attractions from inside the cache - ie..... contrary to GC rules, someone had left lollipops in the cache
Enjoyed noting the lie of the land here, as we had walked previously along the footpath behind.
Left a trackable.

Out with n & g ratbag for a few caches on a wet easter sunday afternoon. Nice and dry in the cache and well hidden. Diabetes Tb seems safe inside. Tftc
11.30am - Parked in car park but had to do a loop around the football field to get to this one. Ground under repair and all fenced off. Cache well hidden. SLTFTC
Cache located easily. Kids enjoying the sprinklers on the new turf. Not sure they should have been there but at least we were able to GC without raising suspicion. Dropped off a trackable. TFTC
Found during the CITO today. We approached the cache from below to search till we recognized another group of geocachers at GZ and climbed up the hill to claim the smiley. TFTC
Found during the CITO at the stadium today. It pays to read descriptions so that we know we are in the right place.... Thanks for the hide!
Tractor in full rip up mode of the turf restoration project.
Whole area fenced off, decided not to attempt the cache beyond the barrier.

Found after diverting around the ground works on the football field. Great camo bag and straight forward find right where the co-ords indicated. Last of 16 for the day. TFTC
Field closed for restoration but able to go around. Thanks for not making us go down to other punga's.
Couldn't find this one.. There was a dodgy old man hanging about.. And construction when we went a few days ago. Any clues?
#1337 - Found with Frazar - In : TB from France ; "Rybicka", TB "Jerry Giraffe", TB "DamesTravelBug" - TFTC

How difficult can you make it for yourself hahaha. Do think that the rating should be a bit higher as it is not that easy as you think
Our doggies loved the long search as they enjoyed the water over and over again.

This one had us stumped for ages came back three times before we found it, then forgot to log it! Found in July school holidays
LOL. The look on my friends face when they saw how many ponga there were was priceless. Such a great spot and the clue just tops it all off.
A nice tidy geocache in a park I have not been to before. Also a variety of camouflage I had not previously encountered. Thanks for the cache.
Wawhoo our second find! no muggles around. Not to many pungas either! Good luck
Picked the wrong time to come here, soccer had just finished and there were muggles everywhere. Luckily they were all heading back to their cars and away from GZ. Nice wee spot and soon found the cache. Thanks for bringing me here, I have a feeling I will be back in a few years time when my son gets Football Fever.
A nice wee wander to the cache with, you guessed it - football being played nearby! return2nai has had a game or two himself on this pitch. TFTC!
Found myself down here for the afternoon unexpectedly so decided to make the most of it and look to grab a few caches while I was here. Timed my visit reasonably well as all the activity had finished from the fields and was moving to the clubrooms. Found the cache after reading through the description and figuring out the best spot to look. Dropped off a football TB as it seemed appropriate. TFTC
Hello Squirrel nutcase,
Wow, that must have been an adventure! It is an unfortunate but hilarious situation, thanks for the laugh Luckily this cache doesn't require tools (e.g. a screwdriver) or the outcome of your encounter might have been different!

Making the most of the school holidays. Trying to clean up a few traditional caches while the rain is holding off.
The story of the day: huge police presence in the neighbourhood... Police cars were everywhere. The dog and I took to the path and walked into ground zone. I'd just made the find, when a policeman and his dog passed by. They spotted us, and the officer came in to ask what I was up to. I quickly explained and he jumped onto his radio to speak to other nearby officers... Turns out, he'd heard about geocaching.
I returned the cache and was getting set to leave but the officer asked me to wait a moment. The suspect was a Maori male dressed in a black hoodie and black pants... Bad luck... That's what I was wearing. After a few moments of conversation with other officers, he quickly realised that I wasn't the suspect, and I was free to go. Who ever said geocaching was boring. TFTC.

Lots of people practicing on the fields today, but I was able to sneak towards the GZ and I found what I was after quickly. TFTC
Fuzzy_Fuzznuts - wow! The camouflage bag works well! Swapped travel bugs - happy geocaching!
Dnf unfortunately. St. Paul's collegiate school was here today for our annual athletic sports. One of my teachers asked me what I was doing, close save. Another time. Tdtc
Right where it should be. But took us awhile. Dropped of travel bug. I think he will like this cache
Wahoo, lovely little spot. Cheers for getting us out of the house on this hot, sunny day! Tftc.
Found during an early morning caching trip. A lovely park area but the groundstaff were already out working! TFTC
