Need to be looked at May be pirated looked every where around pole 1 found paper clip and nail in pole, looked under every rock just have a check thanks
I had a good look for this one with Cybergran V without any luck. I did enjoy looking at the magnificent wood saw sculptures. They even looked great from the other side of the fence as we turned the car. They are such a treasure for the community here.
Once we approached from the right side it was an easy find since the container was lying out in the open. Added our names and put it back in the logical spot. Great sculptures and a very well-maintained little spot.
Thanks The Morris

Found on our way through to Creswick from our trip up North. Love the sculptures.

Cache was gone from the location described in the hint so we replaced it from the resources of the Pajero. Love the carvings.

Out caching with lumpyjrb on my birthday, this was a nice quick find and I did like the carvings. TFTC.
Why did I stop here ?
To seek a cache of course
I was in Huntly for the Hunt, Lee
A delightful little memorial park set the scene.
Distracted by the plaques I wandered for a while.
Hey !!
There's a plaque here commemorating a member of one of the Mounted Infantry at Galipoli who died on the battlefield in August 1915 [:o]
How's that for history !! [^]
A short distance away I found the cache.
But wait !!
Where are the three carved statues.
Surely the trio of traffic cones were not a modern art version of proper statuary ?[:o]
I guess the carvings have been removed for a while until some proper concrete bases can be installed.
TFTC and visit to an interesting place [^]

Removing maintenance flag as it has been well looked after by Romax. Very disappointed the statues haven't returned but at least now there is a metal wattle sculpture nearby.

Someone's car had broken down across the highway but the tow truck stopped there also hid me from their view as I retrieved the cache.
Quick find on the way to Echuca for a few days.
Great carvings, and well worth dropping a cache in the area.

Where have all those marvelous carved statues disappeared to, here's hoping their departure isn't permanent.
However all the memorial plaques are there and we found the container cap, replaced it, and all is well again.

sad to see you lying there on the ground replaced your paper and snuggled you back in to the first.
A day's caching in Bendigo with half of The Morris (someone has to do some work!), and Bettyboo3747.
We didn't see any sculptures, but we did find three Morris's! Relations?
Hopefully they will return (the sculptures not the people in the memorial)
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2907. Robmc and I were travelling with the CO today and at this point we were heading for "Y is for Yellow". Stopped in here to grab Quaero quero as a Q cache for the A-Z Bendigo Challenge. Unfortunately the 4 have gone MIA and have been for some time apparently. Oh well, will have to revisit them another day. Rob discovered the nicely hidden container and we were soon on our way. Thanks The Morris for the cache.
Our 2nd day of caching in the Bedigo region.
Have been to some great areas this morning, old gold mine sites, parkes & waterways.
All have been good quality caches.
Last one on our afternoon out. Nice to have crossed paths with you earlier in the day.

#3770 Found on our way out of town after spending some time in this lovely city for the Flash Mob & GCA dinner event. We really liked the name of this cache.....something out of the ordinary however reading the cache page there is a reason for it & a good one at that . A lovely little GZ that was deserted when we arrived mid afternoon on the Sunday. A nice cache container (great in the weather) was found well tucked away. Our thanks to The Morris for highlighting this POI & perhaps we might be on our way to achieving the requirements for the "other" cache. Cheers [^]
Found certain items of interest missing, would of loved to have seen these. Clever little hide found, signed and returned TFTC

Lately I have been trying to fill in the "Finds for Each Day of the Year" graph in my statistics, but it's 11pm and I haven't made a find today! AND I am also running out of quick easy caches in Bendigo!
To nut out a puzzle or roadtrip across town..?? I suck at puzzles so it wasn't a hard question..
Thanks heaps to The Morris for this great little find.

We have visited this spot several times and were surprised to find today that the sculpture were absent. I hope they are away for cleaning and reappear soon.
It was great to find another Q for the A-Z challenge, however we are very stuck trying to find a Y that it is some way do-able!

Found by Mary & David at 0905. The plaque showed us where the carvings once stood. Now just orange bollards stand there. With any luck, they are away being refurbished. Hope they haven't been vandalised. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, the solemnity and the gardens. Our thanks to The Morris.

Found at 4.00pm. Excellent Memorial Park to those that have served for Australia. . Maybe the plaques are being updated, as they were not attached to the wood sculptures. Cache was quickly in hand and signed. TFTC
We woke up this morning to a much better day today with the sun shining and we again joined forces with Alansee to see what was in store today. Although we had already picked up a Q yesterday we thought that you could never have enough Q's and came to grab tis one as well. We were very impressed with the sculptures here, we even know a series that they would have fitted into quite well. As the area was totally deserted today the cache was found right where the GPSr needle said that it should be and we were very quickly adding our names to the log.
Thanks once more The Morris for the cache.
Thanks once more The Morris for the cache.
Found with Team Crackers this morning. We had started off wanting a Q for the A-Z challenge and ended up with 3! Thanks The Morris. A real shame that the plaques on the nearby wooden statues have been taken.
I've had fun hunting for and finding this cache, It never ceases to amaze me how the CO in the first instance comes up with the idea for placing a cache at this location. After signing the log and then replacing the cache, another find becons me. Thanks The Morris for the cache.
Suscoe's third find of the day.
Really interesting carvings here, pity they are hidden away a little from the highway.
Thanks to The Morris for bringing us here.

Heading home from Bendigo. Wasn't sure I could grab this one as a function in the hall, smokers out front. Snuck down the back and grabbed by torchlight. Tftc

A day trip down to Bendigo for the Inernational Geocaching Day Event. Travelled with PD, as Lostmonster was working today. Found on our way home. The Hall was full of people, but no one was outside. So stealth was required and with the hint the cache was found quickly. Didn't have a chance to look at the wooden sculptures, not a good idea with torches..........cheers The Morris

We couldn't make it down last night to help Tigersden celebrate 250 hides and we also has a prior commitment this morning so couldn't make it to the 4x4 event. We could, however, have a drive through the scrub late in the day and find a few on our own.
Another letter crossed off our A-Z Challenge. Just two to go.
Thanks The Morris and thanks for the coffee and chat earlier in the day.

Another big day caching in Bendigo and surrounds with 67 finds and no DNF's. Started the day caching out to Axedale then spending a day with the Central Victorian Geocachers on a 4WD adventure through the Fosterville Hills.
There were a number of caches placed for the event including a smiley face geoart in the forest. Also completed a number of challenge caches for various milestones and made a find on an unpublished cache.
Finished the day with some CBD night caching before heading back to the cabin for a bourbon and pizza.
Some good wood carving here. TFTC.

Ventured out here with friends whilst the men we were busy moving a rainwater tank. Miss 5 picked up some stars that were lying on the ground, presumably the aftermouth of a wedding at the adjacent hall and added them to the cache. TFTC

These are certainly amazing carvings, the grain on the sailor is beautiful. We now have more than our share of "Q's" but I guess we are not allowed to onsell! Bronze Medal for us! Given the CO the cache police were really surprised to find this cache without identification or stash note.

Found by Roma and Max.
We were just setting off for Roma to get a haircut this morning when we became aware of your new hide!
Seven Hours later with four new caches found and she was in the chair getting her trim!
We have been wondering when someone would put these wonderful carvings on the geocaching circuit, some people are so very clever with wood working tools.
Thanks The Morris for another "Q", we also have one in the pipeline.
Cheers,
from Romax.
