Found while out for a Sunday drive, we could not go on the walk as it is closed for agricultural operations. Thanks for the cache
Was not stumped with this one. Track is closed due to agricultural operations at present TFTC
Found at 10:56 AM GAFF1.Left Wannon Creek Crossing camp after saying goodby to The Morris and headed back to Ararat. On the way we stopped to find the caches and this was the first after doing the AL that was very compact.Cache container was sitting out in the open and consequently it was an easy find. Replaced it with some camo over the top to conceal it a bit better. Thanks to Makkas
As we approached GZ we startled 2 little rabbits (they startled us too ) and they scooted across the road into a nearby yard. Their presence then set the dogs off -its all happening here. Anyway, we found your cache tucked away. All good here. Thank you.
A quick find, but unfortunately, the walk track was closed. We did, however, see a huge flock of black-tailed native hens. Tftc.
What a nice little town and what a lovely walk, perfect day for a wander!
Thanks Makkas for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Happy trails, Deanside

Next stop on my sojourn around the area and although the walk is closed, the cache was found without issue. Log was quickly signed, cache replaced and once again it was onto the black top and off for the next one.
Thanks again Makkas....cache here is all good.

On a camping road trip to the Grampians, Mt Gambier and surrounding areas. We are now on our return journey and currently camped at the Willaura Recreation Reserve. Today we are out exploring the local area and picking up a few caches as well of which this was one and very close to where we were camping. We drove pretty much right up to the cache and it was Mr. Pooky who made the find with the help of the hint. The walking track is currently closed. TFTC. TNLN.
First for the day as I head north to Burchip, with trigs and trads along the way. Tftc.
Found while making a quick stop on the way to Green Hill Lake for a camping weekend

We found this cache on a pre Christmas few days in south western Victoria
What an interesting and well maintained walking track. No snakes today, but a variety of bird calls. This cache is a real "Golden Oldie" ten years on the gameboard and still going strong.
Thanks to Makkas for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Mount Gambier to Willaura
We stopped on the way to do caching where it was suitable to pull over with a caravan on.
Tonight we have stopped at the sports ground.
Had to read the hint before finding the cache.
Thanks for placing your cache.

Passing through this delightful town on our way from the Grampians to the coast. Having a cache and an AL was a definite reason to stop. Walking track was closed but geocache found easily in good shape. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks to the specific hint and the great co-ords.
Willaura a nice little town away from everyone.
Thanks Makkas, from JJHHXX. Find 122

I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Having reached Warrnambool, I’m now making my way inland to head back towards Melbourne…. Via Beaufort and Ballarat .
Strange spot, but the cache was soon found.
Thanks Makkas for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Bit of a weird location, as to whether you are aloud into it or not, but did it anyway.
I found this cache on a caching adventure out west by myself. Testing out the new van to see how it goes as a camper.
Today I would start at Langi Ghiran state park, where I camped last night and drive via Apsley to camp at Baileys Rocks campground tonight.
There were signs up saying no entrance, but I entered anyway and found the cache.

Quick search bit put off by lizard that came out of one stump as we searched tftc
Stopped in at Willaura for breakfast from the bakery. Wouldn't have known of this nice trail round the swamp without the geocache... lots of birds in the swamp, some sheep, and a good bit of mud too (though not impassable by any means). Enjoyed my circuit here, thanks for the cache.
A trip to Willaura today, so a good chance to find the only cache in the town. This was a nice easy find and exactly where the coordinates and the clue said it would be If you have the time, take an opportunity to go to the nearby Railway Station, now beautifully renovated into a gorgeous art gallery called Willaura Modern.
What a town !!!!
Like driving back into the 50's drove down the main street got a huge country wave from the mechanic and his wife sitting outside his shop eating icy poles and watching the world go by. TFTC

The walking track is currently closed,so all we could do was sign the log, look over the fence and move on. Thanks for the invite.
Enjoyed a cool winter's afternoon caching our way in a loop south of Ararat. Willaura is a nice little gem of a town. We would not have realised there were wetlands here if it wasn't for caching. While there is a sign pointing the way, the walking track is not really visible at the moment and there is a bit of wire across the gate. TFTC and for bringing us here Makkas.
Found it description could be better not on track side. Vanilla slice is great at the bakery.
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.
A good hide.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find today.

I wandered in,
past the 'no unauthorised access' signs,
to find the start of the walking track
I found a geocache too [^]

The last Day in Millicent to clean up a few caches before Easter with BettyBoo3747.
Today we departed Millicent and headed to Ararat collecting caches along our route.
Saying it is in a stump only complicated the search - I don't think I have ever seen such a concentration of stumps in such a small area!
The "Authorized Entry Sign" is just to stop people driving down that section of road. If you park across the road (in the park), you can walk to the start of the walk (and GZ).
We didn't walk the track today, but we will be back when there is a bit of water around.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17207. Today is a travelling day between Millicent and Ararat. Just picked up a few caches along the way. A bit strange having an Authorised Entry Only sign several metres before GZ. Feels a bit awkward to search for a cache here. A lot of stumps to search in at GZ.
Thanks Makkas
Thanks Makkas
Weirdest location here, a walking track behind a gate saying no unauthorized access!? Didn't feel comfortable grabbing it however walk looks nice. Thanks!
A nice start to the frosty frosty morning then with a stop at the Bakery for a vanilla slice.
Thanks for sharing this interesting story.

Found today by Malea263 & char6a72! Great hide, beautiful little spot.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Found on a lovely Easter Monday with Char6a72.

While staying at the Caravan Park in beautiful Dunkeld we decided to head East towards some of the little settlements and hopefully find a few caches on the way.
Like previous cachers we were concerned about the ‘No Entry Unless Authorised’ sign but having read previous logs we used the binoculars and could clearly see the ‘Walking Track’ sign inside the gate
We soon had the cache in hand and signed the log. Because of frequent showers we decided not to continue the walk but instead were lucky enough to get a First To Find’ on a nearby GCA cache published 7 months ago
Many thanks for the hide Makkas

Almost wasn’t able to open the container but finally able to sign the log!! Thanks for the cache! Visiting from USA
This cache was almost the whole purpose of today's roadtrip. This cache, although somewhat unremarkable (but in a lovely location) is the cache closest to my current caching centroid. This is relevant for a particular challenge I've had my eye on ever since I'd had my attention drawn to it by a caching mate.
So when I parked at the nearby reserve and took a walk over to the start of the walking track I was very pleased to see a tell-tale bit of an old geocaching.com green sticker peeking out of the natural camo. Cache extracted from the hide, log signed and mission accomplished!

A quick find while visiting the art gallery in the old train station which is looking good.
Quick cache on my way through town. I was a little concerned heading through a gate that clearly said authorised persons only but then the walking track was clearly labelled inside the gate as well - quite bizarre TFTC
Day 2 of my latest road trip in Australia. This time 5 days around VIC with a 1 night/day stay in SA to regions I have not yet discovered. Today had me Starting in Ballarat and finishing in Naracoorte. A lot of great little towns and it was awesome seeing the Grampians up so close.
27 caches today incl 1 Wherigo.
#13 - I debated with myself weather I should detour here for a cache and ultimately - caching won. Who knows when I will be back here again. Ten minutes is nothing in the grand scheme of things. A quick find here, signed and replaced.
Thanks Makkas

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, an d if she had to die
Tryin' she had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' in the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night

A little detour to this one. A stop at the nearby bakery and admired the sheep dog and sheep sculpture nearby by. No time for a walk today but an easy find at GZ.

Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! Easy find although the tin took some opening!!
