Logs
Lunched in Springburn Park, then made my way to the cache. All is in good order, though I suggest the hint now would read, under a log . tftc
Found it... Had no pen soz!! S little mad at azezal for not leaving anything in the cache. Put a pathtag in their TFTC
A stop at the nearby park for lunch and decided to check if there was any caches nearby. This one seemed doable so went for a quick wander. GPS seemed off so a quick look at other logs and the hint soon had me on the money. A couple of mins of scrapping around and I was rewarded. Log signed and replaced as found. A long time between finds!! TFTC
We searched today beyond the fence, beautiful waterhole. Shame I didnt read all the logs first to see we were in the wrong area. Not to worry, we will just have to go back.
We looked for 20 mins or so with 6 of us. Admittedly 5 of the 6 were first timers.
Couldn't find anything here today. I think cache blindness. Either way, pretty cool spot. Be back another time.
While Chamad and I were climbing Mt Ngungun we wondered how wed access this cache, whether it could be accessed from summit or by another means. Turns out the best access point is from the ground and the GPS directs you within 80 metres if you utilise the road efficiently.Once there we quickly admired the quarry before making our way to GZ which placed us beyond the fence, surely it wont be there right? Correct, its not. The hint helped but the coords are out by some distance. After a short search in the obvious location the cache was in hand and our names were added to the log, however some numpty decided to leave some chewing gum inside which we removed and disposed of.Thanks for bringing us here.#4162 - TFTC
After our walk up the nearby mountain, Nathan and I decided to head around and grab this one as it was just a short drive away. We parked up and then as we walked up, we noticed the huge locked gate and then had to rethink our ideas to getting this one. A read of some logs and a check on the hint set us off and searching. We looked around outside the gate and along the fenced area. Was not too hard to sort out with the help of the hint, thanks. We signed the log and replaced all as found and then moved onto our next cache for the day. Thanks for putting this one here and maintaining.
have searched for this once before but with no luck - this time we found it! definitely hint required as the navigation was a bit off. TFTC!
What a cool little quarry. A pity you can’t go in

shanet4553 I found your cache Old Glasshouse Quarry on 30/6/2022, 4:05 pm. This is my find 3674 and find # 28 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Had fun with the kids. Nice to see places off the beaten track. I definitely needed to ignore the navigation and use the hint.
Woah. Talk about good ol’ hiding spots!
Warning don’t come after storms completely face planted getting to it!

After climbing the mountain on the other side this morning, we pottered around town doing random caches before having pastry at the bakery. It was a great view from the top.
I've wondered what the gz here looked like, after having read logs of swimming and such over the years..
So i was a little surprised and dismayed i couldn't really get a good look at the rock cuttings and swimming pool, but oh well, certainly a unique place.
Thanks for showing me here with a geocache.

Picking up a few caches on my way home to the Gold Coast and after having a look at the nearby information centre, I did a slight detour here for a nice quick find, thanks CO.

Early walk up Mt ngungun could not pass this opportunity up, nice walk, Cool location away from the crowds of CrossFiters running up n down the stairs making me feel old! TFTC
Today, I joined karicka with a few minor hikes around the Glass House Mountains. This was a late plan change due to wind warnings for southern ranges, with karicka wanting to do *Cookie monster*. That turned out to be a quicker find than what we had anticipated, so we then headed up other mountains, which included Mount Cooee, Mount Ngungun, and Mount Beerburrum. We also walked the Yul-yan-man track, targeting the *Yul Yan Man Track - Glass House Mountains* Adventure Lab, which was an approximate 10 km hike completed in about 3.5 hr (which included the added Mount Beerburrum detour). Once karicka departed, I ascended Mount Tibberoowuccum ("Castle Wing"), and then headed back home via Caboolture.
It was a long drive around to this cache, taking me through the township of Glass House Mountains. After parking and walking up to the quarry, I thought the coordinates were taking me past the fence that wasn't welcoming of visitors, but instead they guided me to the hinted object nearby. What a cool quarry with lake, but unfortunately, not the best of views due to the fence. The cache was actually out in the open and kind of exposed, so I just made sure to hide it a little better. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. It looks like a few logs missing compared to the physical logbook too. Thanks shanet4553 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I can see why this area is fenced off. Looks like a great swimming hole. Dropped in on the way back from Mt Ngungun. Quick find here. TFTC.
I parked the car near the park and followed the track for a little way then spotted what looked like a geotrail which led me to GZ. The cache was found in its hidey place, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Years ago we searched and searched... in vain. Today we found the beast. I took a beautiful little rock with me to place it somewhere else.

We headed over here after climbing Mt Ngungun and completing the earthcache. The kids were terrified that I was asking them to climb again! Not the case, we parked within 100m of the cache where it was an easy find. Nice view of the old quarry and rockclimbing haunt.
Kids had a rest and rehydrate, and a play at the park, while I planned our next cache. We ended up on a tour of Mt Mee, Mt Nebo, Samford and Dayboro on a fantastic family day out.
Thanks for taking me here - it is a view of Mt Ngungun I would not have experienced if not for this geocache.
TFTC and TB visit.

Nice little walk with the pups. Was worried we were going to have to scale the fence but fortunately, did not have to. Thanks.
Cool to see an old quarry hidden away with a nice view, a good find while walking the dogs. TFTC
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers and Lisylou). TFTC!
Doing a spot of caching this weekend with lisylou and jemillalucy and mnance101 tftc
Please be advised that the gate to the park is closed for maintenance making this cache inaccessible until August 2019.
The cach is behind a big do not enter sign and fenced off area that is locked. Maybe take this one down?
It seems like you should go inside a fenced areas through a locked gate with a sign saying "danger, do not enter" to find this cache. That's not ok.
Nothing inside large log, and you shouldn’t have to go through a locked gate to access the cache in the first place.
Found. Weird spot though; the quarry is completely fenced off, and it's between houses and off the beaten track, so it feels like you shouldn't be there
After a DNF a while ago, I returned today to make an easy find in a place I definitely searched before.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **shanet4553**.
