This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as one that may need attention. Whilst it has a high Difficulty Rating (DR3.0) and may well still be hidden at the location, perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.
**I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.**
Geocache maintenance should include regular visits to the cache by the CO to ensure it is in proper working order. This is especially so when a seeker reports a problem with the cache, or there are consecutive DNF logs. I cannot see any recent logs that indicate there has been a recent visit from the CO.
Please respond to this request within 2 weeks **(by 28th January)** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

I’ll hopefully get down soon to check up on this cache however it won’t be until school holidays are over and regularity begins.
Nope! I left Mrs B at the top while I went down to the beach and then scrambled up the bluestone wall to get near to the GZ. I had a really good look around the GZ, at the top bluestone wall, the middle bluestone wall (closest to the GZ) and the beach bluestone wall without any success. I pulled bushes aside, stuck fingers in gaps in the wall etc. all to no avail. Oh well, maybe another day!
No luck for us today, had a good 10 minutes muggle free, but no luck. Logging as DNF to remember to come back
Yay!!! I finally have my name in the log. I have been here a couple of times and came up short but the lighting must have been good today!!
Weather was a windy and overcast but it doesn't stop the beauty of the area.
Thanks for the cache

Excellent place! We were happy to spend some time looking for this cache. Not the easy one to find but we were rewarded once we looked away from the obvious spots
We have made several attempts to find this cache, but each time we have made an attempt, we have had to abort the search early.
Today we were on the beach as Mrs Dromaniax needed to take some photos for an assignment.
While she was taking some great shots, Mr Dromaniax wandered over to spend a couple of minutes looking.
After getting up onto the wall, a different approach from the past was made, and the cache was spied. We were at just the right angle to see the cache. We manoeuvred to the spot and soon had the cache in hand.
The cache is in excellent condition.
Thank you for this cache, William Buckley.

3rd time visiting and still no luck. I swear I have looked in every single spot it could be
Too old to get up there to find this one, but chatted to a guy who used to play in the cave when he was a young lad.
Had a poke around and then read some previous logs and went back to the first area I searched and located the newly re-installed cache.
Cache page might need to be edited / updated as of location.
Signed and replaced.
I enjoyed the story about Buckley, thank you!

My last day on the road and I think the universe was ready for me to head home as the car started playing up and I found out my pocket queries didn't download correctly. Had to resort to using the phone which sucked and meant I only got 7 caches today.

Hi there Darth Briji,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Another DNF today. We had another DNF a long time ago and contacted the co who told us what to look for. Well, we couldn't find that today either.
Defeated. Poked my fingers into all sorts of places but to no avail. No zip tie. Nothing apparently camouflaged (although how would I know...).
Great spot though.
Great spot though.
Searched for a lengthy time but no luck. Seems from log that this wanders but with a few DNFs in a row perhaps it's finally wandered off
Had a really good look with 3 of us and even PAF all to no avail- wonder if the high winds a couple of weeks ago has moved it??? Thanks anyways
With 3 sets of eyes and even phoned a friend we still couldn’t this elusive cache, oh well there is always next time
This one took a while, due to its wandering nature. Once we looked away from the wall and realised that the zip tie was no longer in play, we found it wedged nearby. Thanks for bringing us here Darth Briji and William Buckley.
And I was soooo sure I would find it! After conquering the wall climb to get to the right level I was feeling so pleased with myself. But alas, in spite of pushing, probing and doing an inch by inch search of every crevice, I turned up with a big zero. Well the hunt was fun, but it would have been more satisfying if I had been able to turn this log into a smiley.
This one took two attempts. The first time, it was quite late & we weren’t looking in the right area. The next morning we came back reinvigorated (& after reading the logs) & found it almost immediately by looking in the right area.
My advice to future finders that are having trouble is to check locations mentioned in logs.
Found with Liam.

It’s finally the rescheduled Geelong trip! Originally postponed due to 25km restrictions, we are now free to roam and set to explore. Ad labs, puzzles and spending some time in Queenscliff is today’s adventure.
We searched and searched and searched. You definitely have Buckley’s and none of finding this cache if you follow the description. It’s no longer there. Fortunately after reading some logs we looked in a different location and had the cache in hand quickly.
Thanks Darth Briji for the cache.

Thanks Darth Briji for the cache.
A long overdue catchup with muggle friends in Geelong resulted in a weekend of caching with RoamingHowie, targetting AdLabs, solved puzzles, LGAs, and various others along the way.
Searched all over the obvious location and about to give up, when I decided to focus on another area snd bingo!
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Darth Briji

Wow. What a great spot. Came down with the Geokids for a look at the rough weather
Was almost ready to give up when Ms 8 says found it.
Unfortunately didn’t have a pen. Sent photo to cache owners for verification purposes.

This was one of the goal caches I set when I knew we were staying at the Beacon Big 4. Today was the day....we knew where we had to be to be a chance....once at the right level the search began. The search continued, and continued. I looked in every nook and cranny of that wall. I was going home empty handed without putting a smiley on this cache, I used my lifeline...PAF....and I soon had the prize in hand. Thanks for bringing me to such a awesome spot. TFTC William Buckley
Out picking up some hides while the daughters and wife have a day spa pampering!
Was really looking forward to this challenge. Was a lovely walk to the spot, with a little bit of climbing involved, a high tide adventure may be interesting though. After reading the hint and not so much the previous logs, I spent a great deal of time in the zone as described by the hint and the description. I was very concerned at the possibility that it may have gotten out of reach as there were a few spots it could have vanished into! Getting frustrated I decided time to have a read. I spied the COs comment and the mention of a zip tie! Huh? Another 10 minutes, this doesn’t add up. I’ve truly got Buckley’s here! Read a few more logs, hmmm, that’s interesting, I decided to branch out my search area, and have to say discovered the cache totally by sheer luck. Not what I was expecting at all and not what the CO described. But all in all, enjoyed the walk and the history.

This was a fun little adventure. Managed to get up to what we thought was the right level, and had a bit of a search but soon realised that that was not the case. Once we were definitely on the correct level (the hint helped a lot there) the two of us had a good hard look until Snivelbert eventually spotted it in a place I had definitely looked right at. Didn't seem to fit either the older placement or the new placement - CO might want to check, but a great hide and and I loved discovering this spot. TFTC!
Great spot & great view on a calm & extremely low Easter tide. Also good camo. Well done! Tftc
Not on bluestone. Just hanging around. Was here 2 years ago and good to turn a grumpy into a smiley.
After an extensive search I left empty handed and broken hearted. With two of us searching and reading the hint and cache description still couldn't find
TLC check. NOT original spot. This cache suffers majorly from cache creep. Zip tied to ‘other’ location now.
After searching for a while, the tide came in and we had to abandon the mission! Will come again another day to find
After a joint FTF with Alansee on an Adventure Lab featuring the Pilot Service headed here. Hoping for a better chance than Buckley and after bit of a rock scramble then some systematicsearching had the cache in hand sooner than expected. TFTC and the history
Found with Au Fait. After looking for this one twice before, this time I put my hand on it the first place that I looked. We were also the only two signatures in a new logbook.
Thirds times a charm! After spending two separate times looking for this cache, for what felt like hours, tonight my friend and I agreed we would spend 5 minutes max.. low and behold 5 seconds later I hear "I found it" ! Baffled at how I missed it all the other times but oh well! Didn't have a pen but will sign the log next time in the area!
Was a hard find luckily I had my trusty assistant girlfriend with me and she found it
Spiffy- and I originally had an idea of a bike ride and cache but the weather was average with some rain so instead we went in search of a few caches for challenges.
This was good find by Spiffy- after searchinh bit by bit and made the find.
Thanks to Darth Briji for the placement and fun.

Found at 1:54 pm.
Today we were going to be going for a bike ride but with the showers here and there we got scared off so headed down to Geelong and Point Lonsdale instead for a drive.
We ended up getting 7 different types of cache today even without any events which was surprising.
During a walk around this whole area to do the WhereIGo we stopped by here and after a bit of a climb I methodically checked every nook and cranny and after a few minutes I came up with the find. Tricky and a great location.
Thanks William Buckley for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Down from Geelong for an afternoon walk and thought we'd have a look at a cache or two. The D/T and high favourites made this one a must. A quick walk down the stairs and a bit of a scramble back up and we saw the cave in question. So deep, I can see why he chose this one! A quick search of the bluestone revealed the goods. TFTC, and thanks for bringing me here!
Out caching with BMTC18 on the bikes, we had trouble with a nearby Wereigo so I decided to have another go at this one (4th) time.
With a little nudge spotted it. I am 6 foot and had me looking straight at it. Needed extraction tool to release the very well hidden object.
The satisfaction of a smiley
here after a 2 year span deserves a FAV from me, also my 1000th find.

Finallyyyy! Fourth time lucky on this. A very big evening for me called for some beach time to finish the day off. Came back to this spot and started a systematic search. Must have had sharper eyes tonight because the cache was finally found. Thanks for the hide. Been worth the multiple visits!
Was here 12months ago but it was high tide and cold and I couldn't be bothered (or had Buckley's) in figuring out how to get to this one... 12 months on, having circumnavigated the country I found myself back here and decided I should make the effort this time. Climbed down and up and over and down and up and over and up (or some such other version of the same) and found myself in the right place, and with a bit of poking about I managed to find what I had come for. If nothing else at least now I understand the saying. Thanks for the fun Darth Briji.
12 months later on a quiet Tuesday morning. With the familiar sounds of the ocean blanking out my mutterings... anyway time, effort and eventually the right tool were all useful to locate and sign the cache. In good condition. Thanks again for the cache and the adventure. Cheers
Found on a beautiful evening while taking photographs of the surrounding land and seascapes. The cache was exposed and lying on the ground beneath the bluestone wall. We have placed it in a crack in the wall but perhaps it needs checking. Thanks for the cache.
walked by last night
but didn't prod and poke
revisited in the afternoon broil
all beachgoers beachbound, none on the rocks
we and the towering sentinel had the place to ourselves
there are two lighthouses at queenscliff
one white, one black
why?

Great story and location, really grateful for this one. Took the little revs who now long to live in a cave. Find took a while and extraction nearly as long. Fascinating spot.

Yay! Got to the lighthouse and didnt realise you needed to get to beach for caching (boo). Found the stairs (yay)! Awsome cave. A careful examination of the site came up with results. From Buckley's to success! Thanks for an enjoyable outing.
Second DNF on this one. However a beautiful afternoon spent wandering the beach on Christmas Day. I’ll be back! Merry Christmas
We added this to the places we needed to visit on our trip down here and made the stroll in the heat of the day at low tide looking at the rock pools on the way, nothing interesting to see today unfortunately.
It took a while to make a find, and it shouldn't have it was sitting right there in sight of the looking cacher only.

We looked at this cache yesterday and could not find access due to the tide being too high. Today we returned and the water was good, hubby did the climb up for this cache while I stood on the sand feeling useless.
Hubby had found the cache and then we realised that I was holding the pen, we then practiced our throwing and catching skills, all was good. He had just placed the cache back when a group of school children came around the corner, boy watching the kids jump up the bluestone wall in a leap and a bound certainly made us feel very very old. Walked through water, climbed up a rock face, got pelted by the wind and rain so I was determined to find this cache. However no luck for me today.
A group of friends walked the beach between Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale today. After they departed for Melbourne, I stayed behind to look for the cache. The climb to the cave entrance would deter most muggles! I checked the relevant area twice with no luck, and luckily decided on a third inspection. Spotted it at last! A good hiding place but not an easy one... I would have loved to explore inside the cave, but that barrier looks very solid!
three of us semi locals couldn't find it after half an hour, we grew up playing t or d in that cave. Thanks for the happy flashbacks at least. Maybe next time we will find it.
We just had enough time to come and search for this cache before continuing on to catch the ferry to the Mornington Peninsula. We made our way to the cave (pity it was locked up as we would love to have been able to explore it!) and then began our search - it wasn't then too much longer before the cache was located. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for having bought us to this great location. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Went to finally check on this and no where to be seen in any of the locations it has been. Found eventually and actually liked where it had crept to so there it is to stay.
New log in place and hint updated and more vague and not so descriptive to reflect D/T.

Not really where the hint suggested, however a previous photo revealed the right area to search in. Awesome spot. TFTC
Found with LetThemEatCache (which will become our joint geocaching name once I retire this membership). She was keen on getting this one, I wasn't so sure. I had heard & even previously read about Buckley, & I suppose I was curious to see the cave. But with the approaching storm (& rising tide) I said "well, we better be quick". It took a while, but we realised to broaden our search & then we had the cache in hand. Replaced where found.
Thanks Darth Briji for this hide. FP from me.

We looked at the D/T & thought it might be beyond our abilities, but then found the right path & gave it a go. Phew so glad previous posts showed us what we were looking for, as the weather was turning nasty (we got soaked for our efforts!) & we needed to be quick! Found in wall crevice as ring-thingy no longer attached, so replaced where found. Thanks William Buckley (Darth Briji) for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Took us a while to find this one. Searched the wrong spot initially, but once at the correct level, we spotted it within seconds!
Worked my way down and up to the cave. The first time that I have been here, and I can imagine someone living here many years ago. After checking out the cave I then spent some 20 minutes looking for the hide to no avail.
After searching around for what seemed like forever, we decided to give up.
After messaging the previous finder and the CO about the final of this cache after my DNF yesterday, i happened to be back in the area today after working on some nearby multis and couldn't resist coming back here for another look this morning.
With some fresh information and another look through the previous logs i started my search and wouldn't you know it i had the cache found within only a minute or two. As it turned out it was very close to where i was looking yesterday but just not close enough!
Thx 'William Buckley' for hiding a cache in this great location. Interesting that it happened to be one of the locations that i researched doing a mystery cache on the same William Buckley a couple of nights ago so really cool to check it out. A FP added for the locale, cheers

Searched for nearly 30 mins at this one but no matter whether i looked from cave level down or the lower level looking up it remained hidden to me today. Big shame as its got a reasonable D/T rating. Next time for me.
Caching in and around the Queenscliff, we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
