Sniffing around on a private property fence/ planted area is uncomfortable. Not prepared to continue searching.
Took a few minutes because I had no idea where to look!Log roll soaked. Added bag and dry piece of paper to the cache.
A nice easy find with Bapgirl on our way to Brighton this morning. When we found the cache, its lid was sitting on the footpath, so we've reunited the two. TFTC!
A nice quick find here. Unfortunately I ripped the logbook baggie as I was attempting to get it our of the container. Sorry. I didn't have a replacement to hand. TFTC.
Yeesh, these types of caches always make me nervous. Decided to give it one last go. Did a bit of a search then retreated to the car when the neighbor turned up. Gave one last visual check and managed to spot the yellow on the container.
Didn’t find a cache but I found a full bottle of Waikato Draught. Gave it a five minute search and that was it.
Few bumps along redzone paths on my meandering cycle to this area to find this wee cache.
Gosh wasn’t sure when got here about location but figured was ok to search around TFTC
Found with LittleTan. Cute little cache thank you! wanted to take a cool swap but am trying to stick with puppy themed loot .
A nice quick find on the way past today.
Added a couple of wee items for kids to grab

Granddaughter found my cache today... still there

Couldn’t find it, too many muggles around to search too much, little bit too sketchy looking around
Alerted a neighbor who thought it was a strange thing to be doing. Found it anyway , Tftc
Huzzah, a smiley after last times DNF - I don't think I gave it a decent enough look last time. However, this time it worked out. Cheers
have replaced log and sharpened the pencil
also added a bright geocache sticker to the little container

Found it.
The lovely woman from the house came to give a hand and advice they think the second might have been taken as only ones been located.

This took a little bit longer to extract than it should have, as we were trying to figure out a new GPS. Got there in the end. TFTC!
Hard to find, it’s along someone’s fence in the middle of Aranui which is horrible especially if your doing a night hunt! Also scary dog there!
I found the small cache. Had a brief look for the nano as I would have liked to have found both of them.
We are in ChCh to collect some points for the current souvenir hunt: Cache Carnival. Mum is pretty good at finding nanos but we found the small very quickly so signed that and moved on. We also have a [Hop, Skip & a Jump](https://coord.info/GC498Y2) cache near Hokitika. Thanks for placing the cache for everyone's enjoyment
Found and logged the larger version. Just as I was returning it a muggle delivering a local newspaper came by, whoops! Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2025
Out today with flowerydaze and junior cacher who quickly had the small container in hand but saw no sign of the nano. Log signed and departed half happy. TFTC.
I'm visiting Christchurch with Talla64 and was interested to read your comments about the road being bumpy. If you think this is bumpy we can really show you bumpy where we are staying! The small cache was a quick find but we had no luck with the elusive nano. I was satisfied anyway to sign the log in the small container. Thanks for placing a cache here - another area we have not been before.
Busy around here today - we waited for the muggle visitor to go into the property where the cache was and then swooped in for a quick find of the small container but didn't see the nano.
We are all too familiar with bumpy earthquake damaged roads in our suburb of Richmond. Infuriatingly the council sees them as adequate and has no schedule to fix them despite our houses shaking every time a trailer or heavy vehicle passes. I am sure if the roads in the west of Christchurch had even one 10th of the damage that the eastern roads have, the council would be all over them and fully fixed by now. So frustrating!
Thanks for the cache though!!

Went on a midnight adventure and found it!! First cache, was so much fun :*)
After doing my shift at the nearby Polyfest, I still had a bit of time before my next event, and conveniently there were some caches around - although some definitely more convenient as others due to the busyness of the whole area. Not too bumpy, but I did feel awkward so close to someone's property. Luckily the road was quite, probably because it was getting a bit chilly and people started thinking about dinner. Quick find of a micro container, could not locate the nano. TFTC!!

Considering my last attempt, tonight the cache was found very quickly and easily. Don't know how I missed it if it really was at the same place back then.
This cache has an interesting size story. So, it's supposed to be a Nano as per original description, but it is said it has been changed to Regular. The attributes sa that it is a micro though, however, after seeing the container I'd say it's Small [:o)]

Found with a few others, with a great hint from troodles, however we ended up finding the different cache than she did. TFTC!
Found with Injeanious and Jess.daphne after the night cache. Thanks to my chauffeur, StreetWalkerNZ and navigator, Troodles! Thank you for the cache.
JD and I had been out here before but we felt a bit uncomfortable poking around in someones front yard, so we did a quick search and headed off. This time we came out with a couple of other geocachers, one of whom had previously found the cache and was able to give us some help. We soon had the cache, though funnily enough it was a different one from the one we thought we were looking for, and the one that our friend had found. Ah well, good to cross this one off. Tftc.
Felt a bit conspicuous poking around someone's fence so was happy to make a relatively quick find. Found with AorakiSheep
DNF
No luck. Even though I checked the fences on both properties around GZ, and there was no dog barking at me, I couldn't find the cache.

#14445. After a DNF (or two) I sought intel from a previous finder. I had the initial look, and didn't spot it. Troodles then went in for a look, and despite the yappy dog she came up with the nano. Whew! Good to get this one off our list. TFTC.
After a quick visit to Kaiapoi to sort out a spare car tyre this morning, StreetWalker and I headed back to Chch to find a few caches, despite the chilly temperatures and the off and on drizzle.
We had looked for this cache before but had been driven away by the barking dog and exposed location. Today we had some info on where to look, and even though we set off the dog again, we persisted and laid hands on the cache. Can't believe this is rated a 1 diff!
Good to turn a frown into a smile. TFTC.

We had been meaning to do this cache for a while and today we were all together and on our way home so thought - why not. Arrived on the scene and grabbed tweezers as we got out of the car. After the GPS finished jumping around we had a quick look. Nope, mmm. Lets check all the way down, nope, mmm. Other spot, nope, mmm. Damn, set the dog off - at least it is protecting its property, good dog. Apologised to child who appeared and were heading back to the first spot when cache owner arrived home. Opps Back to where GPS said and where we first looked -- oh there it is. Found (we didn't need the tweezers), signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.
Came by here with injeanious, it was dark and we searched by torch light with no success
This one alluded us, didn't want to hang around too long. Perhaps owner you can post your house number so we don't have to feel like we might be searching on your neighbors property?
This is has been the closest to my sister's place for a couple of years. I stopped a long time ago with my nephew Sir Belac but felt to conspicuous to have much of a look. Tonight Nanzie and I had to pop out to the supermarket so thought I stealth night cache might be the way to get it. Took a few minutes before Nanzie found the nano. Retreated to the car for tweezers and sign the cache. Nanzie dropped it a couple of times while trying to replace it and took a while to get it back and into position. TFTC justflk

Paddle chick and I we to get this cache as I needed 6 night caches for a challenge I am doing .Talk about hop, skip, and drop instead of jump,I finally managed to place it on the third go. Tftc justflk
If I had done some prior research, we probably wouldn't have stopped as I dislike caches on private property. Anyway, we were here, so followed the GPSr to GZ. Hmmmm, which property is it in? GPsr thought maybe #65 but it wasn't decisive enough and even in google maps, the cache appears to be right on the boundary of #63 and #65. Once the dog started barking, we departed.
Would be appreciated if the street number was included in the cache listing to keep the neighbours (and timid geocachers) happy.

Visiting New Zealand for the first time from Australia, with Apty who was born here.
Apty found the little one, after we were questioned by a neighbour/visitor about what we were doing. Have never felt comfy with hides on private dwellings, TBH.

CrackedChelle and I are over from South Australia touring Christchurch, West Coast and Nelson before staying with my sister and her family in Upper Hutt. I'm an ex-pat from Nelson and this is Chelle's first adventure to Aotearoa.
A neighbour turned up in his van as we started looking and a brief discussion about lots of people coming here revealed that he didn't mind.
I found the nano reasonably quickly.
I attended Lincoln College from '79 - 81 and don't know this side of town all that well. I was interested to see what the effects of the earthquakes was.

The roads sure are bump bump bump. Feel very much for all the residents over in the east. Approached the front garden fence and started with the nano - - no joy. Happily found the larger container. It's funny, no matter that you know the cache is with permission, it always feels strange scrabbling around in a occupied garden! TFTC
A fun road trip with tmann421 enjoying the sights and collecting some caches.
We found both caches, but only logged the nano and replaced where we found it.

Found the mini one. But not the second one. As gps lead it to the mini so no idea where 2nd was. Looked around same area but only found the one
Maybe I wasn't ruthless enough as a brand new geocacher to fossock thoroughly enough to find this. Did see what looked like a white container but it was not quite within arms reach of the fence. And a police car went by so I scarpered. Will try again another day.
Felt somewhat uncomfortable poking into private property here so retreated to cachemobile ... Noticed some young ones come out of house so returned to the GZ for a chat and that helped me in the right direction - thanks guys! Found it. TFTC
Sent mini-caches out and they helped with instructions to find the nano...
No need to enter property - happy hunting!!

An unusual cache being attached to some ones fence, but after a quick inspection I found the nano. TFTC
Down in CHCH for a quick caching weekend and stopped for this one. Didn't realise this was a cache on owners property so we didn't feel too comfortable searching over the low fence. Lucky for us a very lovely young man was sweeping and when we asked him he helped us find the cache.

Having had 4 DNF's in a row in this area, N!mrod was not in the best of moods and the location of this in private property did not enhance that feeling too much. I just could not find it and trying to be inconspicuous in that area is like the proverbial dog's whatsits. Knock on the door!? More like break the bugger down! One last look and found the nano! I wish there were non-favourite points - this would certainly get one from me!!
nano is still there, bigger one is too.
look at the hint and you will find the nano
If you need a little help and you see a car in the driveway - pop to the wooden door and knock.
The Shar Pei is sometimes seen watching at the gate (to the home the Geocache belongs too)
Happy Hunting!
