Great sunny day today at a group picnic. Had to get this as couldn’t pass up a duck cache when so close by. Nobody on the jetty except one fisherman so good day to look. SL- added new sheet with Mouse. Tfth. Great camo. Creative hide from a master.
Think like a Duck, act like a Duck, but no need to swim like a duck. Yet another brilliant camo. Had a group picnic at Jeff Joseph reserve today - so had to look for this before leaving. No log inside only a pencil. So left new sheet of paper and signed it. TFTH. Will favourite when I get points!
Very sneaky hide was quite surprised that we managed to find as quick as we did! Unfortunately cache had no log book and we didn’t have and paper on us to log! Thanks for the hide!!
this was awesome, still amazed at the clever thought of all your hides. always something different from the norms, kee up the effort :’)
This one has eluded us! We spent about half an hour looking after taking a break from our bike ride. My partner in crime had his camera so he was my distraction, taking photos as I searched, and I was chatting to the only people on the jetty while he searched but still to no avail. A very good hide. We will be back.

Day 81 of 365! Two months down 10 to go! It’s been fun following through on my New Years resolution.
After collecting the magic wand cache nearby we headed over to the next cache along. We left Hawkeye to search while we admired the view. Tftc with Thro60clan

No luck. Unfortunately I managed to cut my hand on a piece of metal while inspecting one of the structures so my search was cut short. Glad I got my tetanus shot, haha.
Thanks for maintaining this wee fella; it's a nicely constructed cache and all is great here. Beaut spot and luckily for us zero muggles about this morning during our quick stop-off.
Out and about on a wet and blastering summers day with Neva2old to add to the smiley count, a clever hide that we had rather quickly in hand, we replaced the log and sent a photo to CO to confirm TFTC
Out to find some more geocaches this morning in Applecross.
Being here before but no luck with finding the geocache Came back here today and found this well hidden geocache! Thanks Duck43, this deserves another favorite point.
That brings us to 310 finds now!
Cheers,

TFTC This one had me and Spritzer stumped for a bit.
Had to go through logs to get that different perspective and low and behold cache was then in hand.

A wonderful spot - we had to wait to venture out on the jetty as there was a drone in action filming a lady and her dog walking up and back (with others filming from under the trees). After a few minutes we were able to venture out and I then realised I'd gone too far. No matter, there was a flock (flotilla?) of cormorants fishing just off the end of the jetty so stopped to take photos of them and the great views of the river, etc. Wandering back to GZ I checked a few spots, tried the other side and hmm what's that I wonder?.... Bingo! Last cache of the dayand a nice one to end on - alright another favourite point from me.
OzHockeyChick attacked from one side and I attacked from the other. She came up successful. Very clever hide. Loved it. Thanks for the cache.

Found during a huge road (air) trip to Perth for the WA Goes Big 2017 event, with Papillon4506, Geoturtle37 & Pinkpiggy7.
Spotted something a little odd, and upon further investigation. Yeah, nah, wait, yesss!!!
A fav point heading your way.
Thanks for placing this cache here for us to find. Cheers

Ozhockeychick found this one. Great camo and another fsv ..9:26AM... weekend visit to Western Australia for WA goes Big with ozhockeychick, papillon4506 and geoturtle. Thanks for the cache.
Have decided to rebuild this one for its 100th favorite celebration. Will be out of action for a little while.
Such a clever hide it took a little while to extract i sugget tweezers. Plenty of mugggles around but alot of fun. TFTC
Love the duck hunts, another genius hide, log book was full and wet however. TFTC!!
What a beautiful location! Not the best weather but we embraced it on our morning walk Few muggles around but we managed to be stealthy!
Out for breakfast and then a walk with emmahen94, some very sneaky hides which were great fun to find.
Very clever Camo. A fav point from me for this one

Eagle eyed geo hubby spotted this well hidden cache, no muggles to worry about on this cool Perth day. Thanks again Duck 43 for the hides in this area.
Great find thanks duck find number 15 of the day. Log full so a photo log attached.
Great cache. Log was very wet though and couldn't sign it. Not sure how it's suppose to be secured so owner may want to just double check it. Have a photo for proof if needed. Thankyou
Thanks for the hide duck 43. Lucky to quickly find this very well hidden cache it could be easily missed. Beautiful spot along the river to watch the bird life.
07/05/2017 2:35:00 PM - On approach I had to wait out a few people but once they left I was in and I gotta say it was a quick find. Gotta love that. Thanks duck 43.

It is just a beautiful place for a very good cache.

Great find! Found on our second attempt. Had to sit and have a think and then whilst looking at something suspicious it was revealed! Thanks Duck!
Thank you! I was in the area late afternoon, and it was still hot and humid. I figured finding a cache by the river would be nice. But if course, this is where the duck caches are, so it wasn't as simple as that. There were a few people around, so I sat at GZ to ponder where to start. People soon left, so I started checking out a few things. One thing in particular caught my attention, but I should have realised it was to obvious for a duck cache. I wandered around, checked a few previous logs, before going back to where I started. A couple of minutes later I had the sneaking thing in hand.
Ein wunderschöner Ort um einen Blick auf den Fluss und die Skyline zu werfen. Danke fürs Herführen und Zeigen.
Sonntagsspaziergang in Perth entlang the RiversideWar wunderschönDanke für's zeigenTFTC!
Today was a massive day of caching for Kagers17!! We walked from Perth to Fremantle which took 9.5 hours (after all the stopping to hunt for caches)! We even managed to knock over our 400th find along the way!! Unfortunately being Australia Day a lot of caches remained unattempted as the muggle population was extremely high everywhere! But a great day was had!!
Whilst Mr Kager17 dunked his feet into the water to cool off I was able to make a quick and stealthy find.

duck 43, I found your cache Applecross Jetty dry and healthy. SL TFTH. Image shows: astrohiker at Applecross Jetty – to make sure I found the cache there .
A great hide. Found it easy when on the right side.(Right side, I mean the correct side) A fav point from me. Cheers Duck 43.
Another one that popped up on our to-do list. A couple of muggles around but much quieter than it could be at times I bet. As the description says, still able to search fairly unobtrusively. Almost gave up here but then something in previous logs tweaked and I paid more attention to a certain area. Then all was revealed. Thanks duck 43
For no real reason other than 'we wanted to', Net88 and I are visiting Perth and surrounds for a week of adventures! And this is definitely the farthest from home I've ever been! Over 3600 kilometres from home to this GZ! We had flown in very late last night, and today we were out on foot to grab an eventual 24 finds, with well over 30,000 steps mostly targeting some choice geocache listings.
We are without a car, so chose to take the train and go with the 'two feet and a heartbeat' option. We headed to Elizabeth Quay and caught the train down to Canning Bridge Station to begin a circuit through Como and South Perth before crossing the bridge into Applecross for a wander roughly along the esplanade.
It's now well into the afternoon and we're grabbing a few high-favourite point hides. We've done what we can to grab as many types in a day and the next bus we want leaves in an hour back towards the city and our accommodation. So we'll fill that bit of time and the walk with a few more finds. and this just happened to be our last before we had to head off to said bus. Thus, we were in a bit of a rush.
So, we powered along the path and took a hard right towards the jetty. A few muggles about enjoying being outside at this time of day. Just before we walked on wood, we arrived at GZ according to the GPSr. Our feet hurt, so we sat down and I knew we were at GZ. And I had sat right next to the geocache. I whipped it out quickly and we signed our names.
Applecross Jetty really is nice, sticking out from the green into the blue. A fisherman's 'leaving' was rotting somewhere upwind and gave this exact spot a yucky smell - but I'll not complain of that at all! The geocache was replaced and we powered off and away from the water to catch that bus. Thanks for another enjoyable geocache, duck43

Captain Terror and I were spending the week in Perth. I had wanted to visit WA for quite some time, it is the last Australian state/territory for me to visit. We had made a list of geocaches that we wanted to find and this cache had made the list. This was 22nd cache for our huge day of 24 caches and 31331 steps.
We arrived at GZ and I really wanted to have a sit down and stretch out my legs so I did so and the Captain sat down beside me. Then I realised he had a logbook in his hands! He had found it almost immediately! So we signed our names and replaced all as found so we could head up the hill and towards our bus. Thanks for the cache duck 43

Having done a few duck 43 we are starting to learn how he thinks. Another awesome camo
Nice and quiet here today only an older couple out for a walk. Sneaky typical duck camo here and I must admit we had a little help from Maccasreps who had already found it as we were getting hot and tired now. It has been an epic duck hunt today but I think we have a few more left in us - Just.

With the showers clearing up and the sun poking its head out I decided to head out and do some more of the Duck 43 caches along the water front. Like all previous caches done by the man there were more unique and creative idea's. Where dose he get all his ideas from? Like previous day, even though there were some decent numbers, it was also a day of quality. However though, I begin to feel that I am getting a handle on how Mr Duck thinks, so I have more of an Idea of what I am looking for. An enjoyable afternoon was had. Hopefully there is more to come.

I'm quickly learning not to let any little detail go uncheck with these duck caches, having scoured the jetty for something that could possibly be the hide it was as I was heading back to the car that the cache revealed itself. TFTC.

My last day in Perth after a weekend trip from Melbourne. An unexpected delay for the return flight back to home until later in the afternoon allowed me to pick up a couple of caches that I didn't think I would have had time for on this trip. Another nice day and with the pressure off to get to the Airport anytime soon so took it slower as any caches found now was a bonus.
On this trip my plan was to tackle some of these famous caches by Duck43 on the Friday but due to flight delays out of Melbourne I just didn't have time then but now I do.
Another impressive one and yes another favorite.

TFTC duck 43 arrived here and sat down and had a look around and then looked behind me and bingo.
After returning a magic wand to it's bed, the kids playing by the river, we cast our eyes on the jetty and decided to go find some more hidden treasures. WE reached GZ and it was a surprisingly short search until Daddy found what we came to find. Very clever, classic hide.
Thanks for this cache at this most awesome location.

Out for a morning walk, caching and pokemonning (is that the term). Was really pleased to spot this one fairly quickly. Another top notch hide.

Found this one for the team. After searching on and under, tugging at this and that, something caught my eye that I thought shouldn't be there. Surely enough, it was the cache! Be careful where you are sitting, as you may be on top of it without realising it.
Duck43, you deserve a Geocaching award, if you still haven't received one.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

Found with Maccamob and Micaparamedic. This one took us a while, not least because of a rather nosey muggle who refused to stop staring at us. We looked around casually for a good 10+ minutes until he finaly walked far enough away to have a closer look. Mr Maccamob then managed to make the find in a place that I had already looked. Another VERY good bit of work here too duck 43.
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Alansee and micaparamedic (logged as ACMPMM), at 1435. This took a while as we were distracted at first by a cache-like object nearby. Found the cleverly hidden and disguised cache on the second or third pass. Our thanks to duck 43.
There where a few caches on the Duck Run we had hoped to get and with some many good caches along the way we just had to try for them all. Some masterful hides and bits of work along the way so we will be handing out some more favourite points. TFTC
Found on a rushed caching trip with miss-placed & gabs1963. Very nice hide, my new favourite TFTC duck43
We`searched for several minutes and got a bit wet and sandy. I spotted something and the penny dropped. A moment later, MummyPenny spotted it too and released it. Thanks duck 43.
Had me baffled. Found by the brilliant raggedy.ange77 within a minute. Brilliant camo. TFTC.
