Logs
Log was wet and accidentally put a hole in it when writing soz but its a good hide
Time to return to family duties, but just one more cache seemed like a good idea.As I was travelling by car, I parked nearby and scaled the bank to the rail trail. Finding the hide was quickly achieved, but then I discovered I had left my pen back in the car. Oh well, I at least found an easier, more accessible route as I returned to sign the log sheet. Thanks for you work here, BettyBou. Each of these caches was found in good condition.
I wondered why people have been having trouble getting the log out but now I know. In Feb 2023 someone replaced the container and left a nano log that was impossible to get out. Have left one of my containers and a new log sheet here today.
One mile Creek sounds much nicer than one point six kilometre Creek. However long it actually is.Who measured that. Is it just an estimate?A guesstimate perhaps. We'll never know. Not without pouring over old land maps or consulting with surveyors.Best left as a curiosity. Put back on the shelf. If I was the cache owner here I would have upped the ante and got everyone exploring the underside of the bridge real close. With cursing an avid result no doubt.Best your the cache owner. for everybody's sakes and sanity.Takk!
Albury Gold Cup public holiday so we headed to Porepunkah for the evening. Time to get a few caches that I have wanted to collect for a long time. Last one in this stretch and only cyclist seen as I crossed the bridge. Cache quickly found and a localTool helped extract the log (hopefully easier for the next person).TFTC BettyBoo3747
Was a very quick find ... but with no TOTT with us a stick was needed to remove the log! Thankful for the seat so we didn't look too odd!! Signed and returned as found! Great hide!
Travelled over the mountains to tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soonAfter the afternoon rain storm, we headed out from the caravan park cabin to find some local caches.Out caching with D@geoThank you the hide
Found with gwd.aussie.Travelled over the mountains to tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soon -grabbed this cache along the way. Thanks BettyBoo3747
Very tiny! Thank you for bringing us to a very cute creek! ( we need tweezers to get to the log)
Whilst up in Bright for the Pineapple Express mountain bike event, we decided to knock of some local caches
Easy find, not so easy to get the log out, but after remodeling my pen, managed to get it out, sign it and return it tftc

While out at Port punker with my bushwalking club finished our walk for the day I think thought I need a little bit more. So came out and cleared out this nice little walk here. Pretty obvious where the case was to be so put the container in there thanks for the cash
We thought there was only one spot it could be given the hint but looks like it was too good for us today.
Doing a big maintenance run today and called in at this one to fix things up. Removed wet log sheet and left a new Rite-in-the-Rain log sheet that should last a lot better. All good here.
Took me a minute but got there in the end. Taking the D/T into consideration. TFTC and the series along the bike track. Lovely in the sun. SL at 13.15.
Staying in Porepunkah tonight we decided to head to the pub for dinner. On foot in the pitch black not my smartest idea, however we grabbed a few caches along the way.
Quick search around with the sound of the creek (couldn't see it!) Cache spotted, signed and off we went.
Tftc !

Called past today and replace the container back into the same hiding spot. All good here.
Lovely spot on a crisp autumn morning amongst a carpet of fallen leaves. Clever hide. TFTC

Today was day nine of our Beechworth and Bright holiday (take two, post the very disappointing escape from Victoria Covid of 2020).
Today was rode up the rail trail from Bright to Eurobin, where we turned around and took our time rolling back to Bright picking up all the caches on the trail as we went.
This was the sixth one, and it did have a red spotted toadstool in the GZ - maybe it moved?
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache

Booked a last minute few days away from home, in Bright, a favourite spot. Over the last 4 years I’m sure I have found over 500 cache between Mt Beauty and Beechworth, and still there are beeps to find. Here with the family this time so the remote adventures are not possible but and early morning 30km cycle from Bright to Myrtelford with the boy was very enjoyable. With the reward of a chocolate shake on the menu he kept peddling nicely and around 15cache collected in all. A quick scoot around town to complete the adventure cache. Then the other half and Miss 12 arrived in the car, and a slow drive home collecting a few more that were +/- 1km from the main road. Back to the hotel for 1pm for a little snooze.
A quick and easy find with Matho64. Great weather for a big walk searching for geo caches. TFTC
Leaving the geo kids with Babcia back at the caravan park, hubby and I decided some night caching was in order even if it is a rainy, foggy, cold night. The moon is not far from being full and provided some welcome light.
We had to do a bit of light bush bashing to get to GZ as we approached from an awkward side. The ground was a little sloshy too.
At GZ a quick find was made of a cache and log in good condition. Whilst standing on the bridge to take a photo, I got a big fright as I saw what I though were 2 eyes looking at me from a distance. Hubby said it was just the reflectors but I’m convinced it was a dark shadowy monster ready to pounce and gobble me up.
Thank you for the cache here BettyBoo3747

Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
A week in Bright had us venturing out on the bikes.
Another in this series crossed off

Last full day in Bright, time to check out the 'Punk. Walked in here along the trail from half a click away, passed many a cycling muggle (popular trail). No issues at GZ, a quick poke and all was in hand. A fresh log, nice!
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for entertaining me at this location.

Called past today and replaced broken container with a new one and fresh log sheet. All good here.
Enjoying a ride along the rail trail and nabbing a few caches while in Australia on vacation. TFTH
Thanks to the hint, this was a nice quick find. Unfortunately we found the lid had come off and the container was broken, so please be careful when extracting the log as it is quite sharp.
Thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747.

The bench was a bit too attractive for me so my husband beat me to the find this time. TFTC!
Cycling from Myrtleford to Bright I found cache quickly. The hint says it all.

A visit to Bright and a great day exploring the rail trail, stopping for lunch at the Happy Valley Hotel before heading back. TF the series, had fun finding them all.
Geo wife found her first for the day.
She can buy the coffee at Porepunka.
Thanks for the tiny cache.

Apologies for the late log, found during the week of our Bright stay. We had some friends with us who enjoyed the hunt for caches as long as they could remain anonymous. At this cache, one of our friends found it lying on the ground whilst us more experienced ones look elsewhere
Thanks for the series BettyBoo3747

Very quick find by the eldest Geokid. Besottedmummy hadn’t even hopped off her bike. He didn’t need the hint, although the hint would mean nothing to anyone born before 1993?!
