Didn't check the logs before wasting time on this one, looking today. Previous logs prove the cache is requiring maintenance and yet nothing since this time. Suggest CO either performance maintenance or otherwise lets archive this one to free up the area. This spot deserves a cache.
I believe that this one needs the attention of the co. An image on a previous log shows the cache floating in the water.
We fond a pencle and that is all we recon the teenagers got it there is grafity every where but nice place
Found but too much activity to retrieve and sign log book. Lovely park and lake for the family. Must return
Three of us went to Navan Park for some fun on the slide and play equipment. Despite it being a cold day (so cold compared to Sydney at the moment) we had fun for an hour. Love this park. We then walked down to the pond to see the ducks, geese and waterhens. The cache was easily found sitting in the open under the boardwalk. A quick find in a great little park.
Yay! My first Geocache! I left a little handmade treasure in the container also.
Find # 3944 @ 3:08 PM. The wife is out all day going to some exebition in ths city so Im out on this sunny day doing some caching. Easy find, TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx for placing the cache....
Arrived here from the UK on Friday night for a couple of months to visit friends and relatives.I hoped to get some caches while on Australia I didn't think it would be this quick. TFTC.
Sure wish I has seen this place during the daytime, but then again muggles would have been problem. Very pretty area from what I could see and cache in perfect shape. TFTC and TNLN:)

searched around with fluffyrabbit113 and awesome anniee and sniper dog but could not find. Sniperdog had a great time checking out the local ducks in the lake though
Searched up and down, fortunately very few muggles around.
Finally found, but suggest terrain rating could be raised. Thanks FiremanCam

Took my little cousin and Aunty out to go for a "treasure hunt" today. Miss four was very excited to be looking for treasure, and it was also great to be ale to play on the playground with her, she loved going down the big slide! At first I wasn't sure exactly where it was, up or down. But we figured it out eventually. We had a muggle come and walk along the bridge, and they sat down the end feeding the ducks, so we quickly grabbed the cache and filled in the log. Our first find of the day and Shae was super excited, although a little dissapointed that there wasn't any treasure in there this time. She loved feeding all the ducks and had a great time here. Definitely recommend bringing any kids along, even if they're not finding the Cache themselves, maybe they can keep a lookout and let you know if any muggles come along!

Not too hard a find in the dark with a torch. No billy goats to annoy the trolls tonight..

Out for a few hours this afternoon to place a couple of new caches. No luck with this one today.
Been to this great park before and didn't have a great deal of time as Miss 6 was dying to get back to the playground! I really didn't want to climb over the railing to look under the bridge. There has already been quite substantial damage to the railings (I suspect from others doing the same thing) and I just didn't want to make it worse.
I may have been well off the mark, sorry if I was. I hate the thought of causing damage, and this was such a nice little spot.
Thanks anyway.

Got it after 10 mins of searching.
It was about 6 meters away from where it was ment to be, and not hidden
Moved it to where it should be and gave it a bit of a hide. Have fun

Found with the 2 Wanderers. Hint needs updating. Look for trolls. Until it's updated can people put some sort of hint in their log so it's not impossible to find?
Found it eventually after a call to a friend. Our GPS had it a little out like the previous finder at .133 S. Nice snug hide. TFTC
Found this exactly where coordinates led me and at the altitude I expected too. Apparently though it has previously been at a lower level. Left TB that had been held by Waist & Power.

This was my second try at this one, and thanks to other more nimble cachers, we were able to find it. Not hidden very much, so replaced as, and where, we found it. TFTC
Suscoe's 6th find today of 13 finds on a trip around the outer west.
We weren't sure about the cache here due to the recent DNFs but it is always worth a try.
A little bit of work searching and the well hidden cache was located.
It may be a little further north of were GZ indicated today but the hiding spot was snug.
Thanks to FiremanCam for this cache, blue green algae is rampant here at the moment.

Had a pretty good look for this one, couldn't find it. This area looks like it gets a fair whack from the local stoners and drunks. The boardwalk will get some council attention soon too. Thanks anyway.

Despite lots of searching, even crawling around on my hands and knees, we could not find this one.
Found by Mary & David at 1625. While in the area doing some cache maintenance, and to get Mary out of the house after her shoulder op, we thought we'd have another go at this one. We had DNF here last November, but found it very quickly today. It certainly wasn't in that spot at our previous visit! Lots of ducks out on the lake, and a few fishing muggles trying their luck around the shoreline. GZ was all clear though. Our thanks to FiremanCam.
Ha ha, this is the second time searching for this cache. Horay, we found it. Tftc. Left a little zebra inside.
Myself, Rebel Acts, Trailrunning and Blacklegend (aka The Demolition Crew) planned another Ballarat cache run for tonight as we still had quite a few to find since our last run and some news ones had also been published since then too. Ballarat Smackdown III was soon devised with the route planned and the cache list ready to go.
It was another perfect day and night for caching and there was a definite feeling of deja vu. We started the run around the northern suburbs of Melbourne, picking up a FTF along the way, before heading west through Melton, Bacchus Marsh, the Enfield State Forest (which I personally love driving through) and into Ballarat city itself. During the run Rebel Acts also found his 8000th cache which was a highlight for the night. A big thanks to the CO's for spending the time and effort in placing the caches we found.
One of three cache's in the area I hadn't found yet. The others in the crew had found this one but even with the four of us it still took about ten minutes before I found the cache. It wasn't where the guys remembered it had been but I found it and so had changed location slightly but to an obvious location. Thanks FiremanCam.

Up until recently I hadn't been out caching for quite a while, so it was a suprise to my wife and I that when we checked for new caches in the area we found that we'd been running straight over this cache at least three nights a week since it was placed! So after tonight's run, vicbradybunch met us down at the lake just as we were finishing up and we all set off to GZ. After waiting for a few muggles to clear away from the area I had the cache in hand within a minute. We signed the log and replaced the cache before the next wave of muggles passed through and continued on for one more cool down lap. TFTC FiremanCam
nice night for a walk and to take the Geokids to the park, we met Xesist and walked to GZ. TFTC!
Got a hot tip from Riddell for this cache the night before, I hadn't heard of this one but Ian knows cachers and filled me in on the details. I got to ground zero (very cute ducks pottering about) and the youths nearby were a bit miffed that someone had come along to be nerdy and climb around. Eventually they cleared off and I got under there, easy to pick the right spot going by the arrow drawn in pencil.
This one took a while to find, with almost no muggle interference today. A hide that doesent match the hint, but a good spot.

Travelled down to this cool park and stream with Leb_hustla06 and cohorts, unfortunately could not find after searching in several areas. fun walking around on bridges watching ducks though.
Travelling with mrmun and assosiates...
1st attempt ever locating a cache, this one however has evaded us.
Looked all around the location around lake and wooden walkway but to no avail...

Searched around for a bit but couldn't find this one. Many of great hiding places here however, not feeling safe about going into the "scrub" as the hint mentions.
Out caching with dutch frangipani who climbed down off the bridge to find this cache. The scrub is really thick and not very inviting so we did not attempt to go further. A lot of good places here to hide a cache. Maybe we will try again in the cooler weather.

Trying to catch up finds from months ago, apologies for the belated log.
Found in the company of Coley_Babee, Alansee and Muzza.
After most of the chit chatting was complete, the four of us snuck away to find this cache and a few others in the area.
The last of the day.
I had a sense of de ja vu. I think I've visited here before on another cache, now maybe archived?
Hint doesn't match the cache location, but it was a good hide.
A few people came past as we were hunting.
Thanks FiremanCam for this cache.

This was certainly a great park.
A nice walk to a likely GZ.
This took me a while to spot.
The hint thru me a bit.
Got there in the end.

Found with Muzza, Colee_Babee and Princess Diala. Muzza made the find in a good caching hide while I was looking elsewhere. The hide does not match the hint but I have to say that if it has been moved, then it has been moved to a much better spot. The coords were pretty good too.
Found while out with Coley_Babee, Princess Diala and Alansee after this year's Intervening Days Geocache event. Nice quick find for the last one of the day.

After taking the kiddies to feed the ducks we decided to do a cache just so happen to be one 6 m from us

There were a couple of groups of people making use of the great facilities in the park, as well as a number of dog walkers about this evening. The cache was actually lying in wait for us. We signed the log and rehid the cache, contact with CO will be made so he can make a check visit.
NOTE TO CO:- Please see our email regarding the placement of this cache.

[red]We spent quite some time here at around 11:12:00 AM, but couldn't locate the cache.
Considering the amount of rubbish strewn around, and the short history of other caches in this vicinity, we didn't waste too much time looking and moved on fairly quickly.

We too had a fail on this one.
Perhaps the CO could check and confirm the status of this one.

The area around GZ was quite deserted, so we had plenty of time to search. Despite widening our search area progressively from our indicated GZ, we had no luck at all. We'll watch to see how future visitors go. Our thanks anyway to FiremanCam.
Looked but didn't find ok because the geokid had heaps of fun at the park...
We were not able to find this cache even though we spent some time looking but we did enjoy this lovely park with the ducks and morehens as well as quite a few muggles enjoying it also.
TFTC FiremanCam - we hope to return and eventually find your cleverly hidden cache.

Armed with PAF advice ,I returned today with hope in my heart. The GPS still wandered all over the place and I am sure I would have walked right over it every other time I took on the challenge. Anyway today rewarded me with a smiley.

Heading to Melbourne for another legendary TDC (The Demolition Crew) night run, this time with TrailRunning as per usual, and RebelActs as well. Needed to pick up this and some others in the area that the other members of the TDC already had.
I was onto this one quickly, which was great as I was under some time pressure on the way to fairfiled. TFTC.

The cache was found in the company of abl973 on a day trip to Bacchus Marsh. After finding somewhere to park the car we wandered down to GZ. After a little scratching around we were able to locate the cache. This is a charming little lake. Thanks to FiremanCam for the cache.
Its back out to Bacchus Marsh and Melton for me and Square Pegs. We started early in the morning with cold temperatures and rain and we're not confident that this will be a successful day but we're gonna give it a good go. Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache. We found the co-ords a little out but expanding the search just a little helped find the cache in an unusual spot.
Like previous finders, this one took a while to locate.
Nonetheless it is a fantastic parkland and area to relax, walk the dog, and fish.
Thanks FiremanCam

This was, cache # 10 of 24 finds for the day, in the company of Trailrunning, we had been chating and texting for some time now regarding caching but never met, so tonight we finally teamed up and went caching, we had a great night with lots of laughs along the way. This took a bit of looking before I finally found it just stuffed there. My thanks to FiremanCam for the cache.
The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!
Well we search, squashed spiders, and went round in circles until Rebel finally made a find. I must admit I though the hide location was average. Thanks.

On our second attempt we were successful thanks to some helpful hints. I agree that description and location do not quite match up. Please take care when searching for this one as I almost stepped on a duck egg and there are a number of small birds nests in the area.
After 45 min of searching we decided to move on before pulling apart any birds nests. Waited for signal to be strong and accurate but still no find. Perhaps this is not as easy as described.
Well that was a lot harder than it should have been.
I found this with help of faf
Then I stood on it. !
Surprising how difficult a simple one can be.
A clever hide considering how many have missed it and really nice park to visit.
Thanks for the cache.

I found this cache in about 10 seconds flat. However I have Riddell's log to thank for this as they could almost have written the guidebook on how, where, and where not to look for this cache. I agree it's not your usual type of hide so being aware of this made it easy.
The water here has certainly risen since my last visit here a few years back.
Thanks FiremanCam

Well this one once again proved elusive until Mrs Riddell stood on the cache.
The clue didn't match the location at all, and the GPSr still insisted that we were 5 metres away from GZ!
Well, after much debate from the gallery, the cache location was decided to be very prone to being washed away in the next flood or being out in the open once the grass died back.
The majority of the group present suggest the cache be moved to higher ground and hidden in a better location.
Also question the star rating as some of the group couldn't access the level the cache was at.
Thanks for the challenge, FiremanCam, it certainly put some of us to the test.

Pure. Got it this time. Waited for GPSr to settle then the co-ords were spot on. I think I was trying to make it harder than I needed to last time. Also the previous finder's log was a bit misleading. Oh well, I'll be able to sleep at night now. TFTC.
OK, this is DNF No. 6 for your cache.
Like those that came before us we followed our GPSr to a well tracked spot and commenced our search.
We resorted to the iPhone as a backup and even read the clue.
We should have been able to locate a 1.5x1.5 cache pretty easily, but alas it was not to be.
Mrs Riddell had an appointment to keep, the geodog was getting restless and the muggle traffic was rather heavy. I was instructed to "make it snappy!"
Mrs Riddell was also not impressed searching in prickly bushes and was spiked a few times.
We shall wait for further instructions before returning for another hunt.

We will be back on Saturday armed with members from the Essendon Bushwalking Club.
A few extra eyes might help us.
Look out for us. We will be walking from Bridge Rd, up the Toolern Creek, up Ryans Creek, cross back over to the Toolern creek again, down through Hannah Watts Reserve and return to the cars. We will visit the cache site after the walk.

Weather was good so went for a walk down to the park today after a few "Could not Finds". Cache still where it was originally hidden
Had a good look around and tried to be as nimble as I could but eventually ran out of time and had to go back to work.
I was on limited time with work , so I only spent 5 mins searching, but I couldn't locate this one. Maybe another day.
