My map of Gympie has been looking good. On and off for the past 4 years. There has been a cache in this park. On and off for the past 4 years. I think I've already found 3 caches in this park, 2 of which were within metres of where GZ for this one is. I guess I'm just saying this area sees a lot of muggles. Anyways, so my map had this one icon left in this area so pulled up with Nyssaflutterby and membsec to sort that all out.
Even though Nyssa had been here before and found this cache, we couldn't spot it. I suspect it has been eaten by a duck or muggled.

On the road home from the Forest Challenge with NysaFlutterby and Captain Terror. Had tried this one unsuccessfully many months ago but today we had a previous finder with us. But no - not there - really looks as though it has walked.
Stopped off for some lunch on the way to Rainbow Beach. Hmm, best just check to see if there are any caches close by? Oh! 51 metres Found with madman04 without a hassle and muggle free.

Catching up on logging after a long christmas break. A quick find on a drive north picking up the caches that are on the way. Back on childhood turf. There were a few muggles around but a little patience paid off. TFTC wesso family. [1444]
After a stroll around the markets, we found the cache. We lucked in with the muggles, as after I replaced it, they came from everywhere. TFTC.
Found and logged at 14:40
One of 21 caches for the day while traveling north to Maryborough to attend AJ2013

Out with my son Brother Colin today, to find some caches that have eluded me in the past, this was the first port of call for him, I have previously got FTF on it.
It is good to see that this cache is being visited regularly.
Again thanks for the cache wesso family

We were looking for the cache in all the wrong places,
We were looking high and thinking dry,
We were distracted by Moor hen chicks with cute little faces.
We looked and looked and were about to cry,
We looked high and we looked low.
That's the end for now we are happy now and it's time to go!

We were caching our way to Booreen Point where we will spend the weekend. Parked in the little car park near the mining museum and only a short walk to GZ. Took us forever to get there. Walking over the bridge we had ducks on the path and water. There were turtles in the water and on the edge of the island in the lake. There were two families of water fowl with their chicks. What are we here for, that's right a cache. Quick find at 1135and I do not think that this ne will suffer the same as the first one that was near here. Good dry hide. TFTC.
I recalled there was a cache here and so pulled in on the way back to Brisbane from Bundy. A short walk later and I had retrieved the cache from a familiar type of spot. All good here so TFTC wesso family!
Returning home to Wollongong, decided to detour & head west...lovely little stop to stretch the legs with a cache find as well .. what more could you ask for! True credit to the council...even the birds looked fat & happy...TFTC
Driving from Noosa to Burrum today and stopped in to let GeoJuno have a play in the playground and stretch her legs. While we were there we picked up this smilie. A lovely walk in a great park. Juno loved the ducks! Nice easy find and not too busy today so no interruptions. TFTC!

1250. Had to wait for a muggle to move on before I could have a turn on the seat to locate the cache sign + replace. Good spot to spend some time just watching the world go by, Thanks Wesso's for bringing us here.
We were camping at Cedar Grove, and decided to spend some time finding some geocaches around Gympie. this was our first find for the day.
The Mum in the family used to stop at this park frequently when she was younger, while making the trip from Bundaberg to either Brisbane or Warwick, so this brought back some memories for her.
A nice easy find. Navigated by EM (kid #2) and found quite quickly by JR (kid #1). We came back here later in the day for lunch.

Found this cache today while taking my 4x4 to Gympie to have the steering fixed.
Drove to this area before dropping my car off. A nice walk before finding the cache at 0855.
The coords took me straight to GZ.
Plenty of bird life and a few muggles. Only had to wait a short while to replace the cache to its hiding spot.

Heading home from a fun weekend camping at Kilkivan, this was on our to do list. It was around lunch time but we were happy that there was no one close to the cache, and we could swoop in for an easy retrieval without any watching eyes
We often wondered why no one had hidden a cache in this fantastic park before. Thanks for the hunt wesso family

Find # 3742 @ 6:20 pm. Am in Gympie for my son's wedding so introduced some family members to geocaching, found by one of group TNLN, left my mark in the Log, Thanx Wesso family....
Its a beautiful day here.
The corellas are here in the hundreds around the other side.
Mother swan has baby signets following her around.
There are lots of ducks being fed bread.
I snook in and first I was being watched so I sat and watched the ducks until they finished their lunch and left.
Grabbed the cache with no one around and signed and replaced.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks wesso family

I drive past here every year on the way to Townsville and think, one day I'll have to stop and find the cache. I had work up here so was able to take time out to get it. TFTC
This is a beautiful place where this box is hided. Thanks for showing us this nice spot
1515hrs. After fueling the car with 148 litres of diesel it was off to the lakes to eat an ice cream. Vi was more interested in filming all the Corella's flying around. I found the cache quickly while the birds covered my tracks. 3rd to find and all good. This is a lovely area and always worth a stop to stretch the legs. TFTCSL
On the way home from a couple of days R&R in Hervey Bay, and this was a good place to stop for a wee walk...
Of course, after taking care of business it was a good opportunity to go looking for this one.
It was right where I thought it would be, too!
Thanks for the cache in this great little park, wesso family Enjoyed a quick talk with the ducks on the way back to the car!

*FTF* 1100. No 6 or 7. It is a great feeling to find a cache with a blank log. I thought that 3 hours from publishing was enough time for every one else to have a go
Co-ords were near enough. Followed your advice, while someone else was feeding the ducks, low and behold I spy something that shouldn't be there. walla.
On the way into Gympie I was counting up the cachers in the area that I don't own or have adopted, that left abour 7 or 8, a new cache is most welcome, I can handle plenty more.
Thanks for the heads up at 0800 this morning Brother Colin. I do love pay backs.
Thank you Wesso Family for giving me an excuse for both of us to get out of the house and get some fresh air, we were supposed to be in Bundaberg for the Multiculture Festival today, we have been knocked for 6 with the flu and we both are very short on energy, didn't want to mix with too many muggles.
