After trekking down a almost non existent track at the end with Justontime, we found the old man laying on the ground but no cache to be found any where. A long way in to get a blue grumpy. Maybe the CO could check.
The track was overgrown and indistinct in most places, I couldn’t get a lock on GZ and there were three spots that matched the hint, but no cache could I find.
The mozzies were after my blood along here at 1800, and it was hot and muggy, thanks for the hunt.

Well and truly off track. Very overgrown. ERMthe Worm found it quickly but after some bush bashing. Ttfc
It was deemed that i would not find this cache. My phone went dead as i approached. There are no real trails to the actual gz. Mozzies outnumber the leaches, only by a few. Several places it could be, but i could not find it. I had read the logs earlier, and would of been nice to have them now, to look at some photos, but nope, phone is dead. I ended up fighting the leaches and mozzies, more than looking for the container, so i gave up. Another dead end trail that has dissapeared. I didnt mind the bush bash really, just everything else was against me today. Time to go home.
This is definitely on the track less travelled. Don't be fooled by taking the main track at the fork! Start of the correct track is not well identified. Bit overgrown, plenty of logs but the kids managed.
Take the time to poke around and under! Past pic helped but the co-ords are good.
Cache in pretty good condition. Log in sealed bag. Bring a pen. Added a few fun things to the cache.
TFTC!!!

This one took a lot of searching and reading of past logs. Thank you for showing us this area.
This was a hard find .. when you get to the overgrown start of short road there is a large fallen tree/ this is a decoy but look around and you will see it carefully hidden
Found after a little poking around. Storm threatening and rain starting. No wet weather gear and two more caches to find. TFTC
TFTC from the Kayakviking,
up with a family group to celebrate an 80th birthday for a few days and had to scratch the GZ itch while looking for koalas! Distracted a couple of new geo-kids from their electronics so that was a win along with the smiley. Took a little scratching around but soon 2nd of 4 in this patch.
Cheers KV

Found! After a second attempt at finding the right track (it’s pretty overgrown) we looked around for a bit, and with the help of a trusty stick and google translate, Jaguar4037 and I found it.
I found this one with Breeze101. It took us a while to find the right track (it’s like a maze in there), and it took us a while to realise a fallen abour meant a fallen tree. The cache is only a few metres off the track, and make sure to check all the logs in the area.
Took a lot of scratching around and bush bashing through the overgrown undergrowth but eventually found the prize

The track seemed overgrown but we pushed on.
Leaf Curl Spiders we’re out in force, only out numbered by the Mozzies

Out today to clear the remaining caches in the area, this one could use a little TLC. TFTC.
In the area with the kids and my son realised this was close. Great hide.. had us scratching our heads for a little while. Tftc
Found it! Never thought there would be caches in my back yard, so close to home! TFTC, was a tricky little bugger but got there eventually
Walking further in the track becomes more overgrown. Glad I picked up a stick to clear the hundreds of spiderwebs. We cacme across an echidna on the way to this one. Searched a few placed at GZ before finding the hide. TFTC
A nice walk with the crew on our holiday. Out with Pitman Clan, AWTYOW, the junior geo-gangsta, JakeOnly, Dwight Shrute, Gabstar, KoolKid, Pitbull83 and the kid that asks us to write Batman on every log! TFTC
Mr AWTYOW and the senior geo-gangsta were up ahead and nabbed this one. TFTC!
Back in Down Under for the next edition of SuCos Great Australian Roadtrip!
Heading from Sydney to Brisbane in a HippieCamper, what a great fun...
We spent today around Port Stephens, hiking some walks and finding some caches, great day out in the nature.
This trails here are pretty tough, but with some good shoes easy to get through.
After having seen a huge Lizard here, we found this nice cache as well. TFTC

Second find of the day. Saw a huge monitor lizard on the way here! He was a little camera shy though! TFTC
Lovely find in the bush - great excuse for a family bush walk. Left a shell behind for the next finder

Reperio at 1050.
We happened to find ourselves in Nelson’s Bay for a few caches, and so with wanting to take the kids for a bush walk, we decided to visit these few caches along here. We had walked by this one to leave on the return trip, and took a little detour on the adjacent track to grab this one and walk back to the car. At GZ, the cache was very well hidden, and so took a couple of minutes to move the right natural camo.
Gratias raddog2.

Found today, this whole series needs maintenance, lots logs are wet and containers broken. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to raddog2.
TFTC,
1 of 6 for today. The container was in place but the log was wet.
We are spending a few night's in the area and wanted to complete this series.
While it was a good walk, it seriously requires some maintenance. However speaking to our friends we have learnt that the reserve has been sold to a developer by the State Government and has been surveyed for subdervision.
The interpretative signage was very interesting but the tracks are almost impossibly to find at times and we probably completed it the wrong way around.
Visited trackables.

This one was a quick find, our second last find of today but our third last search - we didn't find "Monopoly" further down the track
TFTC!
TFTC!
Logged the dnf too quick. Turned around to head to the next cache and there it was. Bonus. Log is useable, didnt notice any cracks in the container. No longer at head height Tftc
After spending the last few days walking, hiking and riding thru the bush in search of the elusive geocache, we decided today to stick to caches we could either drive to, or which only involved a short walk. We'll just have to see how long that lasts for!
The plan fell apart really quickly when we got to this reserve. The paths we walked down to the caches here were all overgrown and very poorly maintained which made progress challenging. Lots of scratches on our legs as well.
The log was soggy but we managed to sign it

After being sent out to salamander bay to fill in for work i found myself with some spare time, So i thought i would try some walking tracks with caches along the way. ended up with 13 finds for the day between soldiers point to salamander bay. a great part of the world, i can see why so many come here every year. Thanks for the enjoyable walk and nice easy caches Raddog2.
Find #1379
Continuing our Port Stephens efforts today, we managed 12 caches around Salamander Bay and Corlette, without a DNF (just!). Beautiful sunny autumn weather, but still the mosquitoes were fierce in spots!
We started with the sandy track caches, grabbing the full collection. Quite a nice area to walk through, although the tracks are getting rather overgrown in spots. This series of caches could all do with some (extensive) maintenance.
Good coords, we checked the wrong fallen arbour initially. Cache contents saturated, difficult to sign. TFTC raddog2

Found with BillHill531 while out here buying a used car. We found a nice variety of caches today, mostly nice bush walks or wonderful views. I was mostly trying to clear my fifty kilometer radius from home. I ended up finding nineteen of the twenty one I wanted to find. And only one DNF.
Retured back along the "road" and took the track to this cache. I missed it, but BillHillfound it soon after.
Thanks for the great walk and cache!

TOMBI! got me to come up to Soldiers Point, to buy a car but while we were there we had to get some in his 50 km radius to clear up. Found about 17 caches for the day. Found this one fairly quickly. TFTC
With black and grey mosquitoes attacking us as soon as you stopped, this one took a while to find, but it did eventually show up.
We have travelled up from Sydney to Port Stephens, camping at the Lemon Tree Passage Big4 Koala Shores caravan park, for our annual summer holiday. With yet more sunshine promised for today we decided to make the most of it and head over to Soldiers Point for some sightseeing, bushwalking, and caching. This was the 9th find of the day, 44th find of the holiday.
After finding "Behind the scenes" we continued following the bush tracks, within the Mambo Wetlands Reserve, to reach this one. Spent a while searching the wrong "fallen one" before widening our search to find the correct "fallen one", resulting with CIH. TNLNSL and then replaced as found. TFTC.

Quick find with tassie expat while up from Phillip Island. Tftc. Log saturated, unable to sign. Love the walk.
Up from Phillip Island for a mini holiday. I don't normally do bush settings in warm weather but caching is important lol Easy find. Log sopping wet...unable to sign. I have a pic if CO would like confirmation. TFTC
There were trees down everywhere but we managed to get to it. The log was wet but we managed to sign the log.
Container full of water, we drained it as best we could while trying to write on saturated log book. Easy find TFTC
Headed back to the Nelson Bay area, to pick up a few more caches.
We visited lots of lovely beaches & bushland, where we found a good variety of hides.
Many thanks for placing this cache, raddog2, for us and others to find.
