This was the final find in my biggest ever caching day. I searched for 23 and found 21; I've had a great time but I'm really missing the other 2Prettys. This container type is a new one for me and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the log out without returning to my car for the tweezers, but a few sharp bangs managed to loosen it. Although I was able to write on it, the logbook is not in the best of shape. It is wet, mouldy, and starting to disintegrate. It will likely need to be replaced before long.
Thank you so much for the cache.

After a head scratch or two I managed to spot this cache. I was surprised how busy this road is.

We headed off to the Wairarapa today on a caching expedition - the terrific trio of haydn.seek, PJMacNZ and geodatum. Primarily we aimed to sign in for all the 100 and 250 per month Challenge series, but, of course, would collect as much else as we could along the way. We checked out about 75 caches and had very few failures. We left home at 6.30 am and returned at 9.30 pm. The weather was good - sunny and warm, if a little chilly in windy spots, and dry underfoot. We were good company and our team worked together efficiently. So, in all, a very successful day.
A tricky, effective little hide - but actually can be found easily. TFTC

A serious geo caching day! Not so much about numbers but a dedicated pre planned set of caches covering a fairly large area and many of the caches were puzzle caches we had solved or had qualified for. . We travelled 400km, found about 70 caches and were out on the trail for 15hours, so it was a big serious day.
We left about 6.30am from Palmerston North and travelled thro to Masterton where were picked up out first puzzle cache. And then travelled down the back road towards martinborough locating the 100 and 250 caches for a month -our main objective!. We stopped at Kokotau reserve for a late morning tea cum lunch but the cache here eluded us even with three searchers and a double look before and again after lunch. We replaced several skindo caches along the route with either new containers or water proof logs as so often they were soaking wet. We side tracked up several side roads for caches and then headed into martinborough to in itally look for the cache in the town square which had stumped geodatum earlier. As always PJMacNZ solved the retrieval of this cache and we then headed to the pub for a much earned break and tea with Devonshire scones Yummy! We then continued on our way towards home locating other caches in Martin borough and then on the back route up to Greytown to locate the Cobblestone museum cache which I have searched for on numerous occasions. PJM was able to find the Virtual cache there which was a plus for him. By the time we left Masterton it was starting to darken so we gave away the idea of locating the newer Eketahuna caches. They will wait for another day!.
It was a great day and combined effort by all three of us. Thank you to my partners and the Cos for these caches. Lots of smiley faces and project GC points to boot!!

One last find for the day before calling it quits and heading to Masterton. Reading the cache description beforehand, I had no clue as to what CPI could possibly be, but after finding the cache I think I know now. TFTC
#3887. Another big day out planned in the Wairarapa. This time it was Easter Saturday and Infoferret came along with me on a mission to find 50+ caches for another qualifying day for the DGSC challenge bulk find elective. After finding a sprinkling of caches around Martinborough, it was time to head east and north onto the back roads of the 'rapa. Infoferret brought a pile of new logbooks in small plastic bags so we were ready to replace any logsheets that had turned to mush or the paper was turning to confetti. After getting through a series of mystery finals it was now time to rack up the numbers with some traditionals. I was just looking at possible places you could hide a cache at the GZ when I spied something hidden in plain sight. Another variation on the CPI theme. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. Thanks for the cache tmann421.
11:48. TFTC, glad to finally get this one resolved. This time the residents were not apparent (phew).
Building numbers for the [100,10,7](https://coord.info/GC5G2PM) challenge - sorry about the cut-and-paste logs.

Day # 12 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
Made it from far and rainy South to the North Island. After two splendid days in beautiful Wellington [:X], todays sunny and pleasant tour took me further up north to Masterton .
On the huge cache-menu there were quite some big points for today - Yummie! [:o)]:
1) some challenges in the Hutt-Area I had identified as being "green" for me and
2) a lot of challenges created by skindo that are placed on the way to Masterton.
All this decorated with some traditional ‘green boxes’ along the route.
Missions successfully accomplished . At the end of the busy day the record of the menu contained 44 finds, including 33 (!) challenges that I am a little bit proud to have met the requirements [^]! - so cool! [^]
This cache with the funny hint has definitely seen better days! [B)]
Hey - owners on the way up north - you have cool caches [^] !
A big thanks [:X] to all Owners involved [^] for hiding and maintaining .
Special thanks [:X] [:X] to skindo who contributed the majority of my finds today .
Cheers from Germany

One of 20 caches located on this day, mostly between Masterton and Castlepoint. Logged this about a month after the event. #1419. TFTC.
Hahaha! What a great "hide". I soooo very nearly missed this one. A favourite point from me just because it is a bit different. Log was very wet, but I managed to get it signed TFTC
Umm based on the hint it should have been an easy find but I just couldn't find anything there or nearby.
On a trip to Wairarapa today to make a dent in collecting some of the 100 Wairarapa puzzles I've solved over winter. Left home relatively early to collect as many of the puzzles and other cache types that I passed. Lovely day in the Wairarapa today.

We did not sign the log today as the farmer was waiting for us to pass as it looked like he had a lot of cows that needed to be transferred to the otherside of the road WE WILL BE BACK>
Nice to see another one of these up close as I normally drive past them and barely give them a second glance. *TFTC tmann421, #8778*
A long day caching in Wairarapa while son attended a Youth in Aviation day at Hood. Daughter spent the day photographing likely subjects as we looked for the caches. Like subjects here were the herd of curious cows. TFTC
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

13th day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards north. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. Fortunately we still had few days left to spend in NZ while driving to Auckland.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today we drove from Wellington to Masterton. We saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!

#1748 Found on a photography/geocaching roadtrip with Nic-jay that ended up with 52 geocaches and many great photos. TFTC- a nifty hide here.
Found on an epic road trip with Skaga which saw us getting a total of 52 caches in just over 11 hours.
We liked the hiding place for this one.

We'd been looking for a typical skindo hide then looked up tftc - think a local called the cops on us due to us looking dodgy as a few mins later we has flashing lights pulling us over and we went speeding........

Nice and clever hide. Did with Wandering Dragons, Violet Butterfly, Astro Hunter and Mycro Man. T4TC
We were watched by the cows as they seemed very interested i n our activities and came close to the fence. Nice hide.
Had me beat this one cause farmer had dug the ground and put pipe in.... But it all fine after finding it. Tftc
we started with 112 caches on the list to do in 1.5 days while the weather looked ok here, we managed 88 caches in total and 15 dnf so not a bad run at all, thanks skindo for putting these together, hubby really enjoyed taking the back roads and the roads he used to travel down when carting logs.
going through farm land was something different and made a lovely change.
TFTC, we have added our calling card and handmade swag to all the caches we could. (sorry for the copy and paste)

A lovely crisp winter’s day today. A great day to go for a drive found a good mixture of Puzzles, Challenges and Trads today. Cheers and TFTC
Enjoying some caching in the Wairarapa and this one is on the radar.
A straightforward find; cache in order but the log sheet is very delicate (could do with attention soon), log signed, then safely re-hidden.
Ah, not a skindo cache. That's a change for us today.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Cache # 1,662 - A couple days of caching in the Wairarapa that really stretched my geocaching skills, as the upload to my GPS had partially failed, and I only had coordinates and names – no hints, no descriptions, no logs! This one left us smiling, as it was different from most of the caches in the area. Worth a favourite from my viewpoint. Did with Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Did today with Wandering Dragons and Violet Butterfly. Nice one to finish the day off with. Thank you!

Managed to wangle most of a weekend in the Wairarapa. Knew it was coming up for a while so had put in a bit of an effort solving some puzzles. Had a great couple of days and wound up with about 300 finds. Hardly scratched the surface really - I'll be back!
Nice quiet Sunday so went for a bike ride around Gladstone. Quick find on the way past. TFTC
Headed out on the first flight to Wellington Saturday morning with FMZ and Lostcourse. Relocating a vehicle back to Auckland meant we had a big caching road trip ahead of us...! We headed back through the Wairarapa towards Napier, clocking up the numbers through skindo land. Sorry for the copy/paste log as its now all abit of a blur having cached for 36 hours with only a few short naps in between. Enjoyed the drive through these rough and winding gravel roads and saw alot of interesting sights.
36 hours, 1,200km, & 315 finds made for an epic adventure! Many thanks for the cache and the perfect excuse to make a weekend of it!

Took the first flight down to Wellington on Saturday for a fly-down-drive-back-caching weekend with mike-miss and FMZ - basically a caching raid across the North Island.Team FML! for the win! We headed out of Wellington making a beeline for the Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay before venturing back to Auckland. We headed through a bunch of interesting winding back roads and saw a lot of beautiful sights and historic spots that only geocaching could have bought us too. We shared the duties around and took a few micro naps when ever prudent. Saturday was my biggest caching day ever, and this February, is easily my biggest month ever. Thanks for the cache!
Headed down to Wellington for a fly-down-drive-back-caching weekend with mike-miss and Lostcourse - basically a caching binge drive back to Auckland, caching under the moniker "Team F.M.L." We headed out of Wellington as quickly as possible to get some serious caching done in the Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay before heading back to Auckland. Apologies for the copy/paste log, but we found >310 caches in 36 hours and for many it's hard to remember specific details. We headed through a bunch of interesting winding back roads and saw a lot of beautiful sights and historic spots. We shared the driving and stopped for about an hour to catch some shut eye in Pongaroa before continuing, caching all the way. Saturday was my biggest caching day ever, and this Feb, after just the first 36 hours, is already my biggest month ever. TFTC!!!
Today we saw many wonderful places and we found many good cache.

A MEGA Adventure
Both Nova Lightning and myself had set ourselves caching targets that we were hoping to meet in time for the NZMEGA in a few weeks. So with a plan in progress and fuel in the tank away we set.
Departed home at 6pm Friday, returned home 3.30pm Monday, 7 hours sleep approx 470 caches and a great adventure.
Thanks to all those that have placed caches especially Skindo as I think we gave his caches a bit of a nudge
Thanks for a great weekend of Caching and Bull.

Mega Weekend
It all started about a month ago when Cats&Dragons brought up the idea of heading down the line to collect 350+ caches. We both had targets that we wanted to meet before attending the NZ Mega. Plans and locations were drawn up and puzzles were begun to be solved. It took me a while to get my head around a few of the puzzles and with the help of a cacher I was soon on a roll.
The weekend finally came and we departed Hamilton at 6pm on a Friday night. 3days, 2,000km, & 11hrs sleep, later 472 caches collected. Thanks to all those who's caches I found especially Skindo with a huge number laid.

Not a lot of room to park... But was a quick stop... Don't see many of these in my neck of the woods... Not sure what that's says about our weather... Log was a bit damp in the cache... But able to be signed

I am almost too embarrassed to mention that I missed the cache container on the first pass and had to survey the surroundings a second time.
An enjoyable find on a long day of caching with drawp on many of Wairarapa's rural back roads. Some enjoyable roads, and nice countryside. TFTC
Cool hide which was fairly obvious once I had spent time checking out all the other likely places. Log nice and dry. TFTC
I was fooled by the hint for this one, spottted it after a few minutes looking in the wrong places. Signed log, TFTC
#3891. Nice hide. Found the cache, but no plastic bag for the logbook? Then noticed a bag on the ground nearby. Replaced log within bag. TNLNSL. TFTC.
