As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Been a while since this was taken offline. I visited on my way past today and was pretty sure I could see the cache still down the hole......Going to have to get crafty to retrieve this one. Might be easier to replace cache with new one, if not possible to get the old one out.

Mum and I are coming over to ChCh in December [1st-3rd] to geocache in this area and was wondering if this cache is going to be back in place by then. I will put it on my watchlist and if it is done we will call in and try to find it. Thanks:)

Sorry, someone has dropped it down. Will get back up and running asap, any trackables/swaps that were in this cache will still be in there.

Have been putting this one off for a couple of weeks waiting to drive past at a low muggle time. Today was the day. Aptly named. TFTC.

We pass by here on our way to work every day and sometimes on our way home. When this was first placed, we decided we'd save it for one evening after work. Worked out well for us. Dropped a TB.

Excellent hide, wonder where you could hide something at the GZ but spotted a possible spot and viola, cache in hand. Great job. Grabbed the TB for another mystery cache. Thank for the hide.

A very busy time to look for this one! But it was my best chance for a find to fill in another dot day after working nearby for the afternoon. No sign of the cache in the vicinity of where my GPS took me, so decided to leave it for another less busy time. As I headed back towards the car I spied a tell tale sign. Whew. TFTC.

Out and about on a cold dark evening hunting plastic boxes. Luckily they were slow moving due to the awesome electrical storm earlier on. Thought the evening the best time to approach this one...and I was right. Easy pickings between the few sporadic cars. Nicely done. Cheers.

Set out with high hopes. Arrived to find Dan Reilly with cache in hand. Surprised to find that he was only 3rd to arrive. Looks like I need to react quicker to emails. TFTC.

STF. If only I hadnt stopped to clean up the dishes before I left or had taken a faster route. Beaten to the FTF by 4 minutes by Purdiepurdie. I knew I was going to be in a race with her since this is her neck of the woods. Smile Nice hide, grantn4. This one could be a real problem on a busy day. Cheers!

344 - FDF- I'm so glad I decided to check this out this afternoon rather than wait for the week to start. It is amazing how many people actually walk down that part of the street on a Sunday! TFTC
Oops forgot to fix the date.

3TF! I ignored the email after I received it this morning because I was still asleep, looked at it 15 mins later and thought, bugger. If I had gone for it straight away I would have nailed it, oh well. Missed L4TB and purdiepurdie by about 10 mins by the looks of their log entry. Just as I was signing the log and about to replace the cache a car pulled up in front of me, no one got out. I had a feeling it was a geocacher, but neither of us made a move for a good 5 mins, then someone came up looking for the cache, good to meet bugzptr. Then we chatted, he signed log and we parted ways. Well he left, and I tried... I would have been at GZ for another 40 mins at least with a flat battery! Useless car! Finally got home a bit later than planned. I'm not sure how much more difficult this cache would have been if the business was open, I'm just glad I got it now instead of having to worry about that. TFTC. What a pleasant surprise to see this cache pop up when I opened my emails this morning. Grabbed GPS and new batteries and headed off to a location close to home. Well constructed cache was located and what a surprise to find a blank log - FTF. A good urban cache that will require careful accessing during the day.
A favourite vote from me.
